The property is as listed. Great location. Close to everything but far enough to eliminate a lot of the congestion. Would definitely Italy stay there again.

This apartment is just like the photos and is clean, quiet, charming, and just what was needed for my daughter and me. We could easily walk to everything we wanted to see but the apartment itself was out of the main tourist areas and was an oasis of calm. It's on the ground level, right on a small canal and you can hear the water lapping at night. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is a decent size. This apartment is terrific and is good for a a couple or a small family (there is a pullout bed). We dealt with Irene and Erika for the booking and both were very easy to work with and always replied quickly to any questions we had. They were very helpful and understanding when endless travel delays caused us to arrive two days late, rather worse for the wear. At our request, they arranged for a private water taxi to meet us at the airport, and while very expensive, not having to think too much was in order and the arrival to city was spectacular! I would highly recommend this property to friends and family thinking of visiting Venice.

We loved the apartment and the proximity to great restaurants! The washing machine was an added benefit. It was clean, comfy and everything we wanted for our trip.

With a 4 minute walk to the grand canal, we found this location to be quite convenient. We could catch WaterBus #1 at Ca'Rizzonico or Academia for a short ride to San Marco. A grocery store was about a 5 minute walk away. The apartment kitchen and bath were updated nicely. The host was very busy on the day we arrived, so it took awhile (45 minutes) for her to meet us for check in. We DID appreciate someone meeting us in person! (as opposed to some vrbo locations that just provide key lock box). The host was extremely helpful and answered our many questions.

Plane delays put our arrival after 2 A.M. We were very pleased to find a lockbox for the front door and the apartment all spelled out in an email earlier the prior evening.. After 20+ hours in the air and airports, it was a welcome respite..

Perfect apartment for 2 people in a great, quiet area with easy 10 minute walk to Accademia Bridge towards San Marco. Dorsoduro is lovely sestiere with great restaurants, bakeries and artisanal gelato. The owner, Irene, is very kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

This apartment was a very good size for the two of us. It was a quick, straight walk from the water bus stop and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. We were halfway through our trip across Italy when we stayed here and the clothes washer in the kitchen was a much needed convenience. The bathroom and kitchen were well equipped and didn't leave us wanting for anything. I would stay here again if we were traveling to Venice. A couple of tips if you choose to stay here. There is a small cafe, pastry shop on the road from the waterbus stop to the apartment with a very nice older lady that has perfect espresso and some sublime pastries. We stopped there every morning. It was so good. Explore the Campo Santa Margherita, it is full of shops and artisans that are worth your time. This area of Venice is cute and much less overwhelming than the heavily touristy areas. Finally, get a waterbus pass for the length of your stay and use it as a great way to tour the island.

Favorite of our trip!!! Very nicely set up, comfortable and convenient, open the windows right onto a secluded quiet canal!! The Dorsoduro area is perfect - lots of great restaurants and sights and easy access to water transportation but away from the most crowded area. PS get dinner reservations in advance even in October. La Bitta is a close restaurant that was amazing. Also the Majer Panificio Pasticceria for breakfast and/or lunch.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely neighborhood! We loved every minute of our stay in Venice and this apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Our check in coordinator was Erika who was outstanding; pleasant and responsive. Morning coffee at Colussi’s; dinner at Al Profeta and Enoteca Ortiga; we felt like true Venetians! What a spectacular city. Book this elegant apartment hosted by a warm and welcoming host and live the Dolce Vita!

Excellent overall.

We loved this apartment. We were only able to stay two days of our scheduled four days as they closed Venice due to Coronavirus scare. As nothing was open we left early. Apartment is lovely and in a good location. Very clean and secure. On VRBO site it advertises there is a washing machine but there was no washing machine in apartment. That was the only issue. Otherwise we wish we could have stayed longer. D. Vessey Phoenix,AZ

We booked and stayed at the residence again because of: comfort and pleasant interior...spacious for two. location...close to two vaporetto stops and great walking to Zattere and shopping and good restaurants. Far from the crowds of one of the most visited sites of international tourists

Irene’s place is clean and conveniently located in a quiet section (Dosoduro) of Venice. An easy walk to cozy eateries and the water bus stop. Thoroughly enjoyed our state here and the canal view from the windows is second to none! Couldn’t have asked for more! Check in was easy as Roberto net us at the water bus stop and walked us to the apartment. However, did have to pay a “city tax” upon check in which was a surprise to me... Perhaps mention of this was in the check in instructions and I missed it, not sure. Nonetheless, be prepared for it. That aside, it’s a great pkace to stay while in Venice!

Great location, clean

Loved this beautiful, quiet apartment right on the canal. Scenic and sublime. It was magic hearing the boats roll by and being in the heart of canal life. The apartment is as pictured, and is very comfortable. Good location in beautiful residential neighborhood. Irene and the check-in staff were wonderful to work with! So helpful and friendly! Only word of caution is that this is not the place for you if you need door-to-door taxi service for luggage, or if you are counting on storing your luggage at the apartment for early arrival or late departure. We loved the apartment, and had no problems walking to and from the train station and other water taxi stands with our luggage, but I couldn't imagine this would work for our parents. If you have a lot of luggage, and/or don't wish to carry it, then a hotel in Venice is probably best.

The location of this property is fantastic. It’s off the beaten path, but close enough to get to the main attractions quickly. The checkin in process was great, as we were greeted by the welcome service that also had great recommendations. 10/10 would book again!

Perfect place for our short stay in Venice! The location was ideal. It was a short walk to everywhere we wanted to go but a nice distance from the crowds. Being able to look out the windows over the water and watching gondolas pass by was delightful. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place and location. We werent able to get a baby cot like we had hoped and had to have the baby sleep with us in the bed, but it was still such a charming little place that I cant let that overshadow the 5 stars. Great location, delicious food, nice and quiet canal views - I would go beack in a heartbeat!

Irene replied promptly to our communications and Giulia made sure we were well settled and orientated for our stay in this beautiful, unique, historical maze Venice. The apartment was perfect—loved the sounds of Venice from the windows—made my kids and myself feel “authentic”! Hearing the gentle water in the canal added much needed tranquility at the end of the day. The location was perfect, too—easy to find “home” from wherever we were in Venice. Loved that Grom (gelato) was on our way leaving and returning every day! Being directly down from the Campo and the Ca’ Rezzonico water bus stop made everything easier! Giulia, our hostess, was perfect—always helping us when we needed it... especially during the wind, rain, hail, and electrical storm upon our arrival. (That is the truth!) Only thing to make it completely perfect would be having my husband with us! Thank you! Grazie mille!
