The most fun and perfect vacation our family has ever had. The resort was beautiful, the service was unmatched, and the staff was incredible. Our concierge became like family to us during our stay- if anyone has worked with Jose Simeon, you will never be in better hands. He, and the rest of the staff were there for us with any request, any recommendation, and anything to make our stay more fun and relaxing. The wellness aspect of the resort is what resonated the most with the 5 of us- we brought our 3 teenagers with us, and they loved every second of it. the food was incredible, mixing various fare from around the world each night in beautiful restaurants. Our food servers and staff (Maria (manager), Millennia, Johanna, Elvis, and Manuel served with care and excellence, and always with a smile (and well placed jokes) that made us feel so comfortable and cared for. The villa we had was out of this world- and if a minor issue popped up, someone was there in minutes to take care of it. We will be returning to Zoetry properties around the world, and Zoetry Punta Cana will definitely be a return visit. This vacation brought our family together, and we will never forget all of the days on the beach in the ocean, in the pools (especially the swim-up bar), the many activities and fun adventures that were offered every day. We did not participate in the many excursions, as they were expensive, and honestly, we didn't need to leave the property with everything they offer. 5-star!!!

FIVE STARS FOR STAFF AND SERVICE, BUT NOT FOR THE BUG BITES
Zoetry Agua, I don't usually write reviews. The five-star review goes to your staff. My husband has been talking about this resort for the last five years, and he wanted me to experience what he enjoyed five years ago with his family.
The hotel looks like paradise, not a commercial apartment complex, which I liked. It is serene and quiet, super relaxing. The staff hustles; Luis, Rodrigus, and all the service staff are fantastic.
We treated them right, and they treated us right back. We enjoyed everything except the excruciating bites that ate us alive. I am angry at how the establishment handles bug infestations: from the rooms to dead seaweed on the beach. The waves dump the seaweed on shore, creating a breeding ground for gnats and mosquitoes. They need to come up with a better solution than two people cleaning it by hand.
I called Expedia for $248.00 reimbursement which should have been hotels responsibility to care for medical fees and addressed the bug bites. Instead of taking our concern as genuine positive criticism, the hotel management went into defensive mode. They said they upgraded our room because of the fly issue, but the upgrade was offered generously at check-in (the hotel had very few guests). I will not go back until there is a sign stating that the issues are being addressed.

Cons: There were bedbugs and the staff was unconcerned. They acted as if we were crazy for being concerned luckily we had brought our own sheet protectors so we were able to endure the 3 nights. They did not keep up with the pool inflatables. There was very limited dining options. The WiFi was only good in the master room of our villa so that was frustrating. They also use WhatsApp to communicate with you. I also contracted food poisoning on 2nd night so for our final day I lay in bed in pain. My daughter also contracted it. The rest of the family was good so we assume it was the chicken. The area is isolated so be prepared.
Pros: our concierge did have a cake made to celebrate my daughter’s graduations so that was nice. The pool was well maintained. The beach was nice but not as pretty as Aruba. The area is quiet when the workers are not out

If you're looking for a relaxing, fun place to get away, it would be hard to find a better resort. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, and the property was beautiful.

We had a generally positive experience during our four-night stay at the hotel. However, there was an unfortunate incident that we initially overlooked but has been distressing for my husband. He was bitten by bedbugs or another pest, resulting in red spots appearing all over his body during our stay, which continued to appear after we returned home.

The property is beautiful the swimup room was gorgeous. I arrived the reservation wasn't in the system correctly. I booked an ATV excursion it took the entire day. I was told to leave at 10 am and return by 3:30 that was incorrect I sat at the Bavaro excursion park 2 hours before the ATV ride and we couldn't drive fast because the buggies was mixed with the Polaris drivers which the Polaris is a faster ATV it was awful. The food was cold no customer service at all. I booked a Romantic dinner for my Fiancé for $250 I was sat at a high top table in the wine cellar. My transportation wasn't what I paid for or booked. This was a waste of my money. This was a special occasion ruined. I trusted Expedia website.

Zoetry is awesome. It’s quiet, relaxed, high end, and very accommodating. One of my favorites in the island.

The property is very well maintained, restaurants are beautiful, rooms are gorgeous, luxurious feel to it.
We disliked the beach at the resort, not good for swimming (big waves, cold water) and limited activities. If you want to go relax it’s a great option, but for the more adventurous travelers, I would not recommend this resort.
Staff is friendly and wonderful, hardworking. Amada was an exception hostess she checked in daily to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
I would absolutely NOT recommend the Marinarium Snorkeling Cruise they provide through a third party, it’s like an aqua zoo, not a fun experience at all.
Good experience all together but will not necessarily come back or recommend to friends.

This resort was a wonderful surprise and I’ll most certainly be going back. We were treated like family by the warm and kind staff. Having experienced many resorts in Punta Cana, this is my favorite for a peaceful and quiet family vacation.

1) Non accessible 3rd floor room, the wood stairs that are extremely small and unstable.
2) No internet connection and room service.
3) No Smart TV and any english channel, Scale does not work.
4) No English speaking employees.All employees are rude and hostile.
5) No safe water is available for brushing teeth.
6) The room was unsanitary and had insects, such as mosquitoes, lizards, tarantulas, spiders, worms, etc.
7) The hot tub was not working
8) We found a big tarantula in our room.
9) I filmed the top of bed with a drone and The room was filled with garbage, including dead animals, empty alcohol bottles, dirt, plastic debris, dust, plastic packaging food, spider nets, and all other types of garbage.
10) Dirty pool and reconstruction in all property
11) Beach photos in Expedia is totally misleading.
12) Showers and steam rooms are not functioning
13) No pest control in all hotel grounds, animal waste around the floors
14) We were mentally drained and sought medical intervention due to the presence of tarantula in the room, unclean environment, and mosquito bites.
15) There were no all inclusive services as promised, such as music or pool service, that were attempted to be served by gardeners.
16) The soy sauce for sushi was provided in unsanitary conditions - bottled up in empty plastic water bottles with a hole in the lid.
17) They gave us 4 nights gift certificate to compensate all issues. However, they know we will not go!

This was a great resort outside of the main busy tourist traffic of Punta Cana, but still with all the great facilities. We had the ocean view suite which was stunning, and we used the balcony even when there was bad weather outside. The pools were lovely, the grounds were immaculate, the restaurants and bars were great. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is beautiful and the service is excellent. There's not a lot going on. So if you want to stay up partying this place probably isn't for you. The food is pretty good. It's not blow your mind good, but we enjoyed most dishes. We did have an issue with our balcony hot tub not working. They kept telling us it would be fixed, but never was. Given that I still would stay here again and recommend it to others.

To be honest, the hotel is overcharging its guests, we stayed at a villa (one of the most expensive rooms) and had issues since the day we arrived, the master shower was clogged so in order to shower you have to be closing the water and wait for it to swallow
In another room ( the villa has 3 rooms) they had to switch a toilet because it wasn’t working and in the other room the bathroom had blood stains on the floor and it was raining from the roof
The power went out every time we connected something so we had to wait for maintenance to fix it and the ac broke a couple of times
But the worst thing that happened to us is that they stole a gold necklace at the spa from my sons locker we had to complain and tell them we were going to call the police, and next day they did found it we were pretty sure one of the staff member took it since they were the last appointment for the day the food
Is not the best, but at piragua restaurant the staff is really nice

My wife and I have stayed at this resort 6 times. There was a noticeable effort to make improvements over our last stay. The resort property is absolutely beautiful. There were new menu's in most of the restauraunts. The new gourmet pizza was an excellent addition. As always, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. I can't say enough about Alejandro, Maria and Natalie. Their kindness and dedication to make sure we have a great experience is an asset to this resort and the reason we will be returning again next October.

The food with no bias is the worse we have ever had in hotels or restaurants around the world. They have 4 restaurants all the same level. On a scale of ten hard to give one.
Some customers may like it if they have been eating dog food in their home place. Will never ever go there. No nearby restaurants to go around. The staff is good and helpful. Their concierge is a great guy as well. The owner hired some chefs who never cooked in proper restaurants to save money. Because the food is all inclusive people make little noise.

Dont waste your time somewhere else. This small resort won’t disappoint you. Everyone goes out of their way making sure you fell taken care of. Much appreciation goes to my “ personal concierge” Heriberto to make sure everything the way I love down to the meals and sauces. Love everyone there

We’ve been to Zoetry Resorts six times, four times to Zoetry Agua. I think my loyalty says it all. I keep returning to Zoetry Agua because I adore the Dominican people and not just in the hotel. There is always a smile and an “hola, todo bien” from immigration to the groundskeeper and everyone in-between.
Pro Tips: The mosquitos are ruthless in the wet season. Use Skin So Soft for the no-see-ums and Deet for the mosquitos. Herbal/natural repellants don’t work. We’ve tried them all. I think the smell of lemongrass, citronella and sunscreen just lets them know that you are fresh blood.. Bring Claritin or allergy meds if you know your bites will swell. If you do get bitten, use Nubite on the bites (fantastic little gadget). Or go get a mud wrap at the spa.
Smile and say good morning, good afternoon and good evening (in any language). A little kindness goes a long way.
Tip your housekeepers, bar staff and restaurant staff. It’s not required, but much appreciated. We tip for substandard service at home, let’s tip for excellent service while away.
Go see Friday at the pool bar, Mr. Coffee in Indigo, Johanna in Amaya and take a Bachata dance class with Mr. Happy. They will all be delighted to make your day.
Try some Dominican food. It’s delicious!!!!

We have traveled to several islands/resorts in the Caribbean. On the transport back to the airport we had a vote. It was unanimous. Zoetry has been the best experience in the Caribbean. The grounds…beautiful. The staff…wonderful. The food/beverage…exceptional. When we begin our planning for our next friends trip, this is going to be on our list! Thanks so much for our wonderful stay!

I loved my stay at Zoetry Agua Punta Cana! The facilities were amazing the views breathtaking and the staff exceeded all expectations. Hendry was an amazing concierge and i will be requesting him personally for all future visits. I have never felt this level of relaxation and pampering i am truly blown away!
