Super auberge de jeunesse au cœur du CBD. Tout a été pensé pour faciliter la vie des backpackers et rencontrer les gens facilement. Le bar de l’auberge est super aussi et il y a beaucoup d’activités organisés. Le personnel est jeune et très sympa, pour la fin de nos 8 mois en Nouvelle-Zélande, on a adoré.

The best hostel I've ever been to! You have a private space in your bed with a lamp and mirror, and you can easily fit some stuff next to you as the bed is wide! It's a perfect hotel for introverts; you don't have to talk to anyone even during check-in, as you can do everything on the iPad.

I loved the pod bedspace concept. Facilities were great, bar on site and easy access to the city centre and travelling/touring options.

The best hostel i stayed in New Zealand. Great atmosphere, huge kitchen and dining area, wifi works very well, many bathrooms and showers, so never need to wait. Sleeping pods were very comfy.

Nous avons passés deux nuits agréables dans la chambre avec salle de bain privative. Le personnel était très sympa et à l’écoute. Nous avons utilisé la cuisine et la laverie qui était très propre et fonctionnelle.

Le manque de fenêtre dans la chambre. Il y avait une climatisation mais il faisait un peu sec.

The staff was great! Super friendly and welcoming! The kitchen was nice and clean, the restaurant off to the side was great, and it was in a wonderful location! Easy to get to and find!

There's absolutely no air circulation in the pods/beds. The bathrooms were nice, but needed more attention with the amount of people staying in there. The price was a bit much for a hostel

LyLo is conveniently located in Auckland, away from busy areas but close enough to walk and get access to whatever you need. The rooms are a bit tiny, pods are such a cool idea but does get warm real quick and there isn’t inside a/c. The best thing about this hostel is it’s attached to Miss Lucy’s which has great coffee and a dope atmosphere for co-working or digital nomad activities. Other general/shared areas are great for working and the staff met me with a smiling face. I was able to store my luggage and felt it was very secure (staff access only). Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, but they did clean on a set schedule. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff were great and welcoming. The amenities were great as well. I stayed in a queen room with bathroom and it was excellent. So much space. I would book with them again for sure.

Better exit and entry signs .. I did get lost a few times but that might be just a me thing

This place is so well designed, one of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. I love the sleeping pods and the lockers were spacious and convenient as well. The lobby always seemed busy, but there was never a wait for showers or toilets as I’ve seen in other shared facilities. I have no idea if it was just not that busy or if it’s another intentional design aspect. Also super convenient to the viaduct and the bus station, just a short walk

Loved the atmosphere, and the wee cabin type bunks, lots of privacy and storage for your stuff. Feels super safe, staff so helpful and friendly. Good storage and amenities in bunks (plugs and such). Thanks!

Would be awesome to lend towels (I know they could be rented), and the dimmer in my pod didn't work so light was pretty bright. Wasn't sure how to check out but staff were able to advise.

We were there on Friday the 15th March around lunch time & we both had a delicious burger each. The lady who served us at Miss Lucy’s had extremely average service. She certainly didn’t look like she wanted to be there. I would give her a 2 out of 10 for service. For your feedback, there was no smile, an half mute intial recognition (very underwhelming), little eye contact & her body language was also not great. The lady maybe was having a bad day but it was well below par.

I was very impressed with the standard for a budget hotel. It has a modern feel and the room was extremely comfortable. The staff at check-in were really helpful.

I did not feel that there were sufficient staff serving at breakfast time, especially with big tour groups. At times only one person was taking orders and making coffee which did mean you had to stand around waiting to pay and for your coffee to be made. I'd encourage you to put on more staff in the restaurant. It would be great to diversify the menu too for the evening meal as there were not a lot of healthy choices - mainly pizza and fried foods etc.

The beds were comfortable, the staff were kind and it was modern.

By far the best Backpackers in Auckland. Realy friendly and helpful staff, great pod style beds that were really comfy - my only issue was that I am 6ft5 so I had to stick my feet out the pod to fit in!!

It was too minimalistic for us: no window in the room, no fridge, no chair it's really made for young people, which party all night long and wh are satisfied to find a good bed

Die Preise im angrenzenden Café fand ich für ein Hostel etwas zu hoch. Aber sonst eine tolle Atmosphäre dort.

Location, very close to the bus stop (shuttle from the airport or intercity bus). Big kitchen, lots of activities to meet other travelers, bar inside the hostel, tour agency inside the hostel, nice bedroom and bed.

My keycard doesn't work, I needed to go back to remake the keycard to go inside my bedroom. Checkout is too early (10 AM) and checkout late (3 PM),

A very modern and friendly atmosphere. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Felt safe and secure as key cards were required for use of amenities.

A little pricy for a hostel. The bedroom I stayed in did not have windows so it was a bit strange and disorienting waking up. Perhaps a sun lamp in the room would have made this better
