It was a last minute reservation and Pavel was very nice to accept us))) the guest house is located in a quiet area (no noise from the street) but close to the beach. There are a lot of cafés and restaurants in close proximity. The room is spacious. Everything was clean. Also, there are some parking spaces in front of the property!

Great place, last floor of a wonderful old building, perfect location in the old town, right near the park. Clean and quiet apartment, and a very friendly host. We enjoyed our stay.

Bright and spacious room with adequate kitchen. Quiet location 20 minutes walk to train and seaside park just 2 blocks away. Very friendly caretaker with little English, but understands more than you would think. Grocery store is 3 blocks away.

Bed was softer than normal, but sleeping was easy. An oven would round out the kitchen nicely.

Mattresses are quite old (human inprints) as are the sheets - could do with replacing for a more comfortable stay

The staff were welcoming and helpful with information regarding Verna, and helped immediately when a problem arose in a welcoming manner. The room includes an induction stove with a hood above it, a microwave, an electric kettle and a refrigerator, a fact that helped us since we cooked food for ourselves. A Chabad house is located nearby (for those who care about this fact).

Citadel Guest house is very nice. It is located in a very beautiful historical building in a very strategic central place: 5 min walk to the touristic port, also 5 min walk to the city center, 5 min walk distance from the beach, too and 2 min walk to the park :) The only disadvantage for some people can be the fact that Citadel is located at the 3rd floor with no elevator. The studios are big. In the kitchinette you can find everything you need. The air conditioning is working fine both for cooling or heating. It has free parking in the garden. Payment by card is possible at the location. The staff is super kind! Pavel, our host was responding very quickly to all my messages and requests.Thank you! For sure we will come back! :)
