With a boat landing we could arrive by water taxi at the door of the hotel.

Tiny room for $700 euros. Shower was so small and door wouldn’t shut all the way so water on the floor. No late check out, even just one hour would’ve helped. Breakfast was 30euros/person but they never brought my husbands omelet and basically ignored us. The room was clean and they did hold our bags both on arrival and after checkout.

Hotel is beautiful. Wonderful artwork on display. Our room was in the outback. No balcony no terrace. Windows were glass blocks so you couldn’t see out of them. Room was located up stairs, down stairs, down more stairs. It was a maze to get to with no elevator and lots of stairs to maneuver. Not noted. We are seniors. They did provide a bell hoop upon arrival. Just be prepared for a home. About $500 more for 2 nights gets you a balcony.

Beautiful hotel right on the canal. It was a little difficult to find. Restaurant was not open, so that was disappointing. It was our first time in Venice.

This hotel is right on the Grand Canal feet from S. Angelo water taxi stop, decor and views from the rooftop deck are spectacular! However the concierge and hospitality of staff was not as welcoming as it could have been for this reason alone we will not consider another stay upon returning. I’d say fir the price you will pay one could expect a coffee & croissant upon early departure

Second time to Palazzo Barocci and Venice. Excellent location within feet of the Grand Canal and water transportation. Easy and welcoming check-in. Excellent and accommodating staff. Always a wonderful experience.

Hot water comes in and our abruptly. I got burnt.
Shower drain was clogged up.
AC control doesn’t work.
The star rating they have is phony !
I didn’t get what I was promised. I left early and may sue them if they don’t do the right thing. $1500 for this sxxxxxy hotel !
