The staff here went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room is very nice, the bathroom, very modern. The only thing I could complain about is that the room was a little musty smelling because of all the heavy rain they were having. I'm sure that can't be helped, Venice is a really wet place! The bed was very comfortable.

Lovely hotel located a short walk away from heavily populated tourist area. The service was excellent from start to finish and the breakfast was amazing.

The staff were very nice and helpful. They supported our travel by contacting us before we got in the hotel so that we didn’t feel any anxiety how to get there. We also loved how they prepared our breakfast. It was very beautiful!

Fabulous stay in Venice. The hotel is in a great location, away from the busy/tourist areas (but not far to walk to all the sights). Very clean with a fabulous Italian breakfast. If you like music, Venice Jazz Club is just a few minutes walk away and a great night out. Will definitely stay again.

Staying at Avogaria feels both peaceful and far away from the crowds and at the same time, a short walk away from everything. My room was like a little oasis and the owners and staff are warm, kind and extremely accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was located in a more residential area of Venice so it was quiet but only a few dining areas nearby. The room itself was well furnished with a little garden area attached to the room. However, the hotel had a very peculiar policy of requiring us to leave the room key when we went out. I was concerned that any staff or other guests had access to our room while we were out. It was also time consuming as we had to go to the front desk every time to drop off the key and pick it up. I would not stay at this hotel for this inconvenient and worrying key issue.

Lovely place to stay the hosts were so helpful and went the extra mile and walked us to the taxi pick up point when we left for the airport

The owners of the hotel are gracious, patient with kids, and helpful in recommending places to eat nearby. The double shower in our room was amazing too.

Lovely period accommodation (it really gets you in the mood for historical Venice), in a great area that also adds to the whole romance of visiting Venice. The staff were excellent and friendly too

Hotel claims to be very up to date very private but we didn’t see this in our stay our room was dated bed was uncomfortable bathroom was wet all the time the water spills everywhere, and there’s no air conditioning only heater. Service is good helpful but just not what is portrayed in the pics.

The room has its style. Can hear the sounds from the street and the room upstairs, which didn't bother me though. The staffs at the reception are very friendly and helpful.

Great location if you’re trying to stay a bit further away from the main hustle and bustle (St. Marks Square area). But, the walk to the main areas are definitely doable. Super friendly and accommodating staff as well. And, there’s air conditioning! Definitely recommend.
