I've stayed multiple times at this hotel. The location is outstanding. The staff are very friendly and the front desk went out of their way to welcome me and acknowledged that I was a loyal customer. They went out of their way to accommodate my every need.

Quiet, spacious room. Easy, fast check-in. Round the corner from Piccadilly Station. Will book again.

Check in was slightly chaotic due to no formal queuing system but the staff on the desk and the room itself was lovely. Not a fan of the amount of dirty laundry in the corridors when we were going to our room and was a little frustrating when I had lot had confirmation of the birthday package being added but, sorted that supper quickly so no real office.

Excellent position, few minutes walk from Piccadilly station and only a few minutes walk from the Christmas market.
Wanted to upgrade to a larger room when arrived but the hotel was full and couldn’t offer an extra bed in the room. Thus 4 stars instead of 5.
Food from the evening menu was tasty but expensive, but then you are paying for location as much as anything. Staff were all lovely.
Basic toiletries in room, tbh a bit disappointing considering how much the nightly charge is. Literally just a liquid hand soap at sink, wall mounted shampoo and a shower gel in the super large shower. No shower cap, body lotion, cotton wool etc. I get that hotels have to cut back to make a profit but I do find this practice of doing away with the individual toiletries in hotel rooms just rather cheap. If the nightly rates were reduced to take account fair enough, but they’re not!
Great air con, comfy beds and good tv selection.
Plenty of tea and coffee sachets but only one packet of biscuits. This was a twin room which means two people staying, again just verging on being cheap in order to save a few pence.
Overall I would recommend and would stay again if being near the centre was important.

Conveniently central location just a short walk to Piccadilly train station.
The hotel is very well maintained & decorated. Rooms were spacious with good facilities.
Very nice bar area which is where breakfast is served. We had breakfast included & there was everything you would expect for a buffet plus the option to order poached or an omelette.
We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and helpful reception staff made check in pleasant.
Food overpriced for what you get and not that tasty. Hope breakfast is better. Will leave another review if not.

The wait times to check in were very long, the staff member on the bar was incredibly rude and short changed us “said she didn’t have the change” after already taking the money. The room had marks and stains in the furniture which was very disappointing we paid for a premium room and there was nothing premium about it every time we went to our room the key card didn’t work so we had to keep going back down and having it re set every time which was very frustrating not a very good stay.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable with good facilities. However the staff let it down especially in the bar/ restaurant section. Simple cocktails can’t be made even if they have the ingredients on hand and no willingness to listen to suggestions.

Stayed one night as attending a music concert. Lovely hotel. Close to the train station. Clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Friendly staff, really, lovely breakfast.

The stay was okay.it was walking distance from most things,however if you need any help do not try contact the hotel as you will get no help at all,they are rude and careless.there is parking near the hotel but it is not free.

Family trip to the city, we were looking for a decent central based hotel and we struck gold here.
3 mins to Piccadilly train station. 2 mins to the Tram . Arndale was 10mins. Shops, restaurants and bars right outside the door. Perfect location. The hotel itself is very nice. Breakfast was great, staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless. I couldn't fault anything. 10/10.

The overall stay was good, however the breakfast service was not great. I had to ask 3 different members of staff for poached eggs. It took 45 minutes to finally arrive. Also, when asking for a cup of tea, I was given a mug with a teabag but no spoon.

We just stayed 1 night in Manchester, but we had a pleasant stay in the holiday inn. The reception was friendly, and check-in was smooth and quick. The room was nice, clean, and just like the photos. The 2 single beds were comfortable. The location is spot on, minutes walk from all the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was amazing! One of the best I've ever had in a hotel and I've travelled all over the world. What a great selection. Delicious. Worth adding it! Highly recommend this hotel. Thanks again!

We just stayed 1 night in Manchester, but we had a pleasant stay in the holiday inn. The reception was friendly, and check-in was smooth and quick. The room was nice, clean, and just like the photos. The 2 single beds were comfortable. The location is spot on, minutes walk from all the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was amazing! One of the best I've ever had in a hotel and I've travelled all over the world. What a great selection. Delicious. Worth adding it! Highly recommend this hotel. Thanks again!

A lovely hotel ruined by terrible customer service. Checking in was terrible and slow, only one person on the desk at around 7pm with a HUGE queue of people waiting. The check in took so long it almost made us late to our event, so caused a lot of inconvenience and stress. Even when another guest complained about the lack of service and the wait time, the person on the desk (Mia, I think it was) barely even acknowledged the complaint and couldn’t have cared less when she finally appeared to support the other, only poor guy on the desk.
Hotel in general and breakfast was good though. A potentially great hotel discredited by extremely poor check in. If you book here, make sure you have plenty of extra time to book in.
