Everything you’d need for your stay
Sofa on the small side for two adults to comfortably relax on.

The accommodation was so well thought out with a great use of space and all the facilities needed.

We loved absolutely everything!! A really beautiful place in a very beautiful picturesque little village. Great communication with the owner Steve. He was veryy accommodating to our request of a later check out. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anybody!!! ☺️

The bed mattress is in need of replacement and I couldn't sleep very well in it and have bad back ache now

Stunning cottage. With pretty much everything you could ever need in there.
with Oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine! And more. Even books and kids toys were there if you wanted them. And a dvd player with a small selection of dvds.
Cutlery, plates, pots, pans etc.
Tea, coffee and even some biscuits.
Lots of space. We're a family of 4 (kids aged 7 and 12) dining table for all of us. And beds for all of us. Single bed in the bedroom was good and the sofa bed was apparently very comfy.
Large bathroom (toilet, sink and shower).
The only thing missing in the kitchen was a corkscrew (we still managed!) and the double bed is very creaky.
It is a shame there is no access up to the mezzanine, I was going to chuck the 7 Yr old up there but he's the clumsy one so thought better of it 😁

The property boasted “fully equipped kitchen and it most certainly was. Slightly disappointed by the outside approach which is rather scruffy.

Stayed here for 1 night taking my parents to visit York for the first time . Great amount of space for 9 adults . Extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Left crisps and a box of chocolates as a welcome gift. Pint of milk in the fridge and tea sugar and coffee supplied too. Spare pillows and quilt if needed. Plenty of free parking , which was great as we had 3 cars. 2 minute walk from the Black Horse pub where we had a lovely meal by an open fire. Great communication from the host and all questions were answered quickly. Would definitely stay here again

THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR THE WEDDING WE WERE ATTENDING.

The place have been well prepared for our needs i.e. high chair, books, colouring materials for kids. There was also a welcome treat which was very thoughtful of the owner. Steve was easy to talk to. Will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family 😊
May need some more lights especially by the dining area and also more fans could be provided especially during summer.
Shower in the middle bedroom is not that strong. A clock in the lounge or dining area would also be a good addition.
