Stunning 2 Bed Garden Flat in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town.
Dies ist ein helles, geräumiges und modernes 2 Schlafzimmer (ein Superking / Twin Bett und ein Doppelbett sowie ein JayBe Klappbett für ein kleines Kind und ein tragbares Kinderbett für ein Baby). Gartenwohnung mit zwei Badezimmern (eins en suite) ) im Herzen von Edinburghs Neustadt. Die Wohnung verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie für einen kurzen Aufenthalt, ein langes Wochenende oder einen längeren Aufenthalt in der Stadt benötigen: HDTV, Sky-TV mit Sky Sports, BT-Sport, komplettes WLAN, Sonos-Musiksystem, Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine, Weinkühler und erstaunlicher privater Garten mit Tisch, Stühlen und Gasgrill (Gas geliefert). Everything you need is right there for you! Down the street or Up the street. The Flat was just plan perfect for us two couples. Coffee in the morning or wine in the evening we felt very comfortable after a great rest or a long day of site seeing. Washer and Dryer help us out a lot. Thank you!

Great location for walking around Edinburgh and exploring sights, restaurants and pubs. Several good bakery/coffee shops nearby. Beautifully appointed flat. Extremely comfortable for our party of 4 adults. Nice and quiet at night so it was easy to get good sleep and get recharged for the next day. Highly recommend as a great spot to stay. Look forward to returning next year!

This property is just lovely and had everything we could possibly have needed. Edinburgh is especially busy at this time of year, and it was nice to be staying somewhere a little calmer and quiter, even though we were only a few streets back from Princes Street. Scott was a great host and let us drop our bags at the house when we arrived earlier in the day.

We stayed 5 nights in The Garden Flat with our family, including two teens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the flat perfect for our time in Edinburgh. The location can’t be beat if you want to be close to everything but also have a local neighborhood feel to your stay. We particularly liked being close to Stockbridge. We were a 15 minute walk from the new St. James Quarter shopping district which had great restaurants and a convenient tram stop to get to other places in town. The flat provided so much space for us to feel like we’re truly living in Edinburgh even if only for a few days. The weather prevented us from using the outdoor space, but we loved out much light the living area had with all of the windows to the courtyard. The washer / dryer combo was a highlight and well used during our few days there. Last but certainly not least - communication with the host was great and we really appreciated the detailed information he provided about a week before our stay including entry instructions and many, many recommendations for restaurants and other things to do in the area. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. There are two grocery stores at each end of the block so you can get anything you need. The walk to the tram, station and any of the big tourist stuff is easy even with kids. Finally the host was mega responsive when we had questions.

The location of the flat can’t be better for travelers who want to get immersed in the culture of Edinburgh. The flat was clean and well stocked with all of the amenities we needed. We took advantage of the grill out in the garden one night too. The owner recommendations for restaurants were perfect. We were a short walk into the hustle and bustle of the tourist area but welcomed the amazing neighborhood we stayed in. We even took advantage of the Stockbridge Market. We couldn’t have asked for better!

We stayed at the Garden Flat to celebrate our 20th anniversary and we are so glad that we did. Let’s start off with location. Located in New Town just north of the park it’s in a quiet, residential area which is great for relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. It is, however, perfectly located within a 1-2 minute walk is a supermarket, 2 coffee shops, 2 restaurants and a great wine bar! St. Andrew’s square is a 10 minute walk and it’s about a 15 minute walk to the Royal Mile where we also picked up our bus tours.
As for the flat itself, modern, warm and comfortable. The bed is super comfy and the showers have great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Plenty of closet space as well. The living room/kitchen/dining room is great and they have plenty of USB outlets for your charging needs. One awesome bonus is the garden patio. We were busy most days with tourist stuff but managed to spend some time outside. It is so nice to have this place to escape to after a crazy day of tourist stuff.
Scott is super friendly and very helpful. There are plenty of instructions for the place which is very helpful coming in from another country (US).

We loved the Garden Flat in New Town! The space was modern, well appointed and clean. Yoga was done in the private, spacious garden. The location was excellent and very walkable to pubs and all of the best things to do in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!

Lovely flat with high-end furnishing, comfortable beds, plush pillows and a nice outside sitting area. 4 adults stayed for 2 nights and were very comfortable. We spent over 2 weeks in Scotland and the UK staying in a mix of 5 star hotels and home rentals; this one did not disappoint. They provided premium pots and pans, utensils, soaps and shampoos and coffees/teas. The washer and dryer worked well (the dryer takes awhile to properly dry but that seemed to be the norm in the UK). There is a parking spot that can be purchased for an additional cost that is a few blocks from the flat as street parking in front of the flat is for permits only. It's about a 5 min walk to the parking garage, which wasn't an issue for us, just something to be aware of. There can be an issue with blowing fuses when certain lights are on but there were clear instructions on how to reset the breaker. We had to stand on a chair to reset the breaker so if we had to find fault with this place it would be we wished they provided a small step ladder. This is a great place that will not disappoint! In this case, the photos do reflect reality. The flat is beautifully appointed and well maintained. The neighbourhood is safe, quiet and walkable. All the major attractions, not to mention restaurants and stores, are within reasonable walking distance. Two grocery stores are just a few minutes' walk from the flat. The owners were helpful and responsive. Booking and check-in were effortless. I should add that the apartment also includes a safe they guests can use. Our family including two young adult daughters (18 and 21) traveled to Edinburgh from 6/27 to 6/30 and were extremely pleased with choosing the Garden flat in New Town. Here are the reasons we chose the flat:
- two beds and baths, one king bed room can be converted to two twins (my girls appreciated it)
- modern, clean lines and a nice area with two couches and space to relax
- beautiful outdoor space
- washer and dryer
- easily accessible to public transport (quick walk from the tram)
Reasons we loved the property:
- The ability to drop our luggage early with the housekeeper and a safe area to leave it
- Laundry detergent, toiletries were provided (full size washer was nice for mid point of our trip)
- Instructions provided by the owner were well done, except we were a bit confused on where to take the trash
- safe provided for valuables
- many brochures/books/cards for local nearby restaurants
- close to grocery (one on each end of the street) and restaurants (we especially liked walking to the West End)
- easy walk to the tourist section and train station (spent a day in Glasgow)
We had a really nice night with take out Cantonese from down the street and a visit to Wally Dug pub while we waited for our food. Felt like a local and have already been asked by our fellow European travelers about where we stayed in Scotland.

Our five week stay at the Garden Flat was great! The Flat was very stylish, roomy, and had everything we needed for our long stay. The best feature is the wall of windows in the great room that lets in lots of light into the Flat, and connects to a lovely patio. Our hosts, Scott and Marion, provided a detailed booklet on the Flat, nearby restaurants and attractions, public transportation etc. Being nearby, they quickly responded to any questions we had. We also loved the location, outside the major tourist areas but all easily walked to. Highly recommended.

This place exceeded our expectations in every way. The building itself was historic but the interior had been nicely remodeled. Beautiful courtyard was a plus. It was fully equipped but minimally furnished and very clean, so it was perfect for someone like my wife who has asthma. Fireplace was a wonderful feature for cold January nights.Location was ideal: we were able to walk to very single corner of central Edinburgh. We also had very short walks to fabulous neighborhood restaurants.Host was extremely friendly and accommodating. Our visit to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary was perfect!

Second stay this year, will not be the last. Scott's flat in New Town is wonderful, everything is top quality, no expense has been spared. Beds very comfy, showers superb, lots of space for 4 adults, lounge/diner/kitchen is very sapcious and extremely comfortable, you also have a huge outside terrace garden, with outside seating and even a garden log burner. Scott is super helpful in every single way, he provides so much info for the whole area, which is stunning, full of great bars/cafes and restuarants, and only a short walk up into the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Just a 10 min walk from Waverley train station make this the ideal place for a stay in this beautiful city. We were able to access early, and stay late on departure, which perfectly fit our train times. Just go ahead and book, there surely cannot be anywhere nicer in Edinburgh to stay!

The flat was perfect for 2 couples (ourselves and our daughter and son-in-law), spacious and extremely well-equipped. We had breakfast and dinner in every day of our 4-night stay, even grilling on the patio one evening. The location is perfect--we walked everywhere, including to the train station with our bags.
