Ca 'Leonessa ist eine kürzlich (2010) restaurierte Luxuswohnung im Herzen von Venedig. Es ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von den Bus- und Bahnstationen entfernt. Aufgrund seiner hervorragenden Lage sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Venedig entweder zu Fuß oder mit dem Vaporetto zu erreichen. Bei der Einrichtung der Wohnung wurde in erster Linie darauf geachtet, eine komfortable und einladende Oase für Sie nach einem anstrengenden Tag im magischen Venedig zu schaffen.
Das Wohnzimmer (mit Blick auf den Kanal und den Campo San Barnaba) verfügt über zwei Natuzzi-Sofas (ein Doppelschlafsofa), ein Linn-Soundsystem und HD-Fernseher mit DVD / CD-Player.
Beide Schlafzimmer sind hell und luftig mit bequemen Betten und haben viel Stauraum in den maßgeschneiderten Kleiderschränken. Schlafzimmer 1 verfügt über ein luxuriöses Doppelbett mit edler Bettwäsche und traditionellen venezianischen Stoffen. Schlafzimmer 2 hat zwei Einzelbetten. Beide Badezimmer sind komplett mit Power-Duschen gefliest.
Die Küche wurde von Hand gebaut und bietet Platz für 6 Personen.

Beautiful apartment in a great location on a picturesque and quiet canal. We were met at the apartment upon arrival and given the keys with a quick tour of the apartment. The apartment is nicely furnished, very clean and the kitchen is well-stocked. The washing machine was greatly appreciated but there is no electric dryer although a drying rack is provided to air dry your clothes. We definitely enjoyed our stay at the apartment and had the added bonus of being in Venice at graduation time for the nearby university. We got to see and witness some of the traditions of Venetian graduates...floral tiaras and chants of "dottore" shouted in huddles around the graduates. It was a very memorable and fun stay in Venice!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Venice. The apartment was comfortable and clean. Loved the location! Right by the canal and all the shops and restaurants. An added bonus for us, It was a 15min walk to the bus stop that took us to the airport. Communication with the host was very responsive and helpful- thank you!

A home away from home. We were greeted directly off of the Vaporetto, which was amazing. Upon our greeting, we were taken to the home, shown around – no rush or fuss, and our encounter was pleasant. Ca’ Leonessa provides all of the amenities necessary for an extended or short family stay in Venice. Spaces throughout the home are open, inviting, and comfortable after a day of exploring and adventuring. The décor is natural, neutral, and comforting, and the home is centrally located. There is a small market approximately a block and a half away, which provides a generous selection of produce, meat, pasta, dairy, et cetera. Piazza San Marco is a 15-to-20-minute walk, alternately the Vaporetto, is approximately two blocks away – a super easy short walk. Murano is a quick trip away as well, and well worth the visit. We highly recommend a private tour, of Wave Murano Glass, if able. A very comfortable, well-equipped home for traveling families and the personal greeting was very appreciated.

We loved the location of the aparment, close to the vaporetto stop and very close to restaurants and grocery store, with a lively bar across the street. Also loved the Sonos speaker system, it sounded great and let us play music throughout the apartment.
Not a very touristy location which was great. Close to two piazzas, perfect for a stroll and hanging out.
However, this was the only place we stayed at that didn't have a corkscrew to open our wine bottles. This wasn't rectified during our stay. Communication could be more responsive.
Here a few more items that could be improved. There were no hand towels in the kitchen. And the bathrooms don't have locks. One of the bedrooms had two lamps but the plugs didn't fit the wall so could not be used, which made the bedroom dim.

Great location away from all the tourists with easy access to all the main sites. Checkin was amazing and also helped secure taxi’s so didn’t need to wait. We would definitely stay here again!

the property was very nice. Hardwood floors. Looked good. Near 2 nice plazas with several good restaurants. They could have supplied coffee and coffee filters.
Only problem was finding the place but thats due to the city layout.
Had a little problem connecting with the site agent but that was mostly my fault

Excellent central location, comfortable unit. We had some anxiety about how to get to the property. Directions attachment was corrected. Lots of emails back-and-forth but we found it in the end. Helped get luggage delivered , nice!

My husband and I traveled to Venice with our 2 teen daughters and 11 year old son. We had a wonderful time! The apartment was perfect for us. It’s in an excellent location and it had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again!

This apartment is in a quieter section of the city but well within walking distance of the major tourist destinations. The perfect size for our party of 4. Would stay here again and would spend less time on tours and more time exploring the shops and restaurants of the Dorsoduro area. Fun nightlife and lots to explore.

Great location out of the main frenzy of the tourists. Sweet local cafes within steps. Great space in the apartment! And the host was wonderful. Greeted us and guided us to the apartment and provided all necessary info. Great stay.

We had a fantastic time at this wonderful property. From booking to communication, it was all done with ease.
The property was spacious enough for 4 adults and was close to everything.
Being on a canal was just beautiful, we really felt that we where experiencing the life of a Venetian.. Food, shops and atmosphere were all at our fingertips.

Fantastic spot in Venice close to restaurants, bars, access to vaporetto, and walkable to the P. Roma. Comfortable beds, two bathrooms and modern appliances made this an effortless stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was well-located in the Dorsoduro area and a good distance from many of the sights of Venice. View from the apartment was amazing and we were comfortable during our stay here.

Great location and easy to get to. We could walk to St Marks square in about 20 minutes. It’s in the student district so loud music on the canal side at night. Host was great

Loved the location (on the canal, two cool plazas only a few yards away). Communication in general and especially how to get there was great, which was extra helpful in Venice given the unique and diverse choices on how to get from the airport to the property. Everything was as advertised and the host was very responsive to our questions.

Lovely - converted in old Venice property which I love - 10 steps to appmnt. Warm and sumptious bedroom . They organised taxi from airport and were there personally to greet us onto boat as it was late and dark. Appmnt v central and close to vaporette stops and shops.Very kindly let us leave our bags as we had a late flight home. Would def use again. Thank you all.

Our family of 6 stayed here for New Years at the end of our trip to Italy. The location was great - more of a local neighborhood but walking to St Marcos square. Lots of shops and places to eat and groceries nearby. Apartment itself was good - very clean, updated bathrooms good amount of space and felt very safe. You could look out the window onto the canal and there was a fresh fruit/veggie boat right there. Host communication was wonderful and they met us on time and took us to the apartment. Would definitely stay here again!

Our place was the absolutely perfect. Places to eat were steps away. This is my 3rd visit to Venice and Dorsoduro is, by far, the best area to stay. Our apartment was very roomy and comfortable. I am very appreciative of the kindness shown to my family and me during our stay. Day of checkout, Mass at Saint Marco lasted far longer than expected which put stress on our host. Additionally, we had no idea November 1st was a holiday that also put stress on our host. But everyone was very gracious and found workable solutions. Thank you so much and forgive me again for the added stress! Blessings to you.

This was our third stay at Cá Leonessa so it really did feel like home. Both the agent and owner are helpful and flexible. The apartment overlooks a small canal in a charming, lived-in part of Dorsoduro, our favourite area somewhat removed from the spritz glitz and clamour of other parts of Venice. The little bar across the bridge does a brisk trade at night (don't worry, it's not too loud or intrusive). Popular with locals, the fruit and vegetable boat is practically at the front door, a fabulous pasticceria is just around the corner, and a supermarket, excellent butcher and fishmonger (some mornings) are all close by. Just like home, the apartment could use a little attention to one or two areas, but nothing major, on the whole it is and always has been a very comfortable apartment, airy with good natural light, in a fabulous position in terms of vaporette access, touring Venice and living like a local. Wifi is excellent too.

Great spot on a canal only about 300 yards from Vaparetto stop and Grand Canal. Two squares with shopping and numerous restaurants really close. Great people watching as Bridge of Fists and popular little bar across the bridge from unit. Bit noisy on the Saturday night but understandably, windows muted the noise very well.

Venice was a dream and this apartment was perfect. A great location and easy walking distance to restaurants and attractions while also being away from the major crowds. Our hosts were attentive and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The washing machine was a huge convenience. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice!

This place was fantastic! Off the path of tourist crowds but still surrounded by neighborhood restaurants popular local bar with friendly service. Right on a canal. The water taxi return to the train station picked us up within 10 steps of our door. We will stay here next time!

This is a fabulous property! Absolutely perfect location and the host Jonathan was super responsive. Our greeter Erica was really amazing - so helpful with anything we asked and helped us with all our transportation requests! We would highly recommend!!

Was a great stay for us! It was a little hot though. The placement of the air conditioners was only good for part of the apartment. Location was good. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Grocery store near. Didn’t like the little steps throughout the apartment. Kind of a tripping hazard.
Host was amazing at setting up our boat transfer for when we arrived late at night from airport and had flight delays. Very accommodating.

The apartment was clean and spacious. We did not use the kitchen but it had plenty of dishes, glasses etc as well as a dishwasher if you wanted to eat in. The grocery is close by as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. Excellent speaker system. Comfortable beds, good quality linens and great a/c. My favorite part was the views of the canal. Only drawback that prevented a 5 star rating was that the drain in the second shower was clogged and it was an open shower (no door) so the floor got wet and the shower was cut short. We really would have liked to have the 2 showers available for our use. All in all a great property.

We spent an amazing week in Venice and could not have been happier with the apartment. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. 2 luxury bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the location and local square where food was more reasonably priced and less crowds. Great location near the Vaporetto that we used to get to/ from the airport and 15 min walk to the train station so we were able to go to Florence on the high speed train just for a day. We were able to walk to all the attractions finding new places to get Aperol Spritz on the walk! Fantastic place to see Venice!
