We had a good week despite the weather being mixed. The barn was very comfortable, quiet and clean and tidy. We would visit again

Lovely property and a really good quiet location for walks to the beach and general relaxation. It is hard to find fault with The Coach House. Encountered a very minor problem with the Baxi heating system however Andrew was easily contactable and the fault was remedied over a short phone call. Have no hesitation in recommending and it is highly likely that we will return in the future.

This was the second time staying here as we love it and is just perfect for our family. My only gripe is the drying facility for clothes, a tumble dryer would be great especially in the winter months.

The Coach House was simply stunning.
The Coach House was simply stunning. It looks nothing from the roadside however inside the gate it is a real gem & everything was nice and clean and the owner was simply a gentleman! The dogs were quite at home with beautiful rural walks for us to take and we were truly upset at having to leave.
If it's peace and quiet you are looking for then The Coach House delivers!
2 small minors - the directions to the property would be better being written down with a map provided. We had verbally taken them down but it was a real struggle to find .
Secondly clearer instructions for opening the Baxi boiler would be good as we struggled to find out how to feed it.
These 2 minors however really did not distract from anything - The property is the best we've stayed in whilst away!

Spacious and beautifully restored inside.
We loved the Coach House!
Spacious and beautifully restored inside.
The pub is around a 15-20 minute slow walk and a further 5 to the dunes but we love walking, just my parents struggled a little bit there is a car park at the beach which costs around £7 all day. Cafe on the beach and pub nearby, perfect!
The host Mr P was lovely.
Please bare in mind this is a countryside barn type accommodation so expect to see cobwebs, dust and a few spiders.
The only issue we had was we feel the cleaning could if had a bit more attention but I am very picky. Old hard coffee in the canisters, grease on the hob and the dinner mats were
Used and a little dirty but I guess not everything can be checked?
Please don’t let this put you off, I’ve fell in love with Winterton & I loved the Coach House!
We saw seals everyday!

We have just spent a gorgeous week (8 Aug 2020) at the Coach House (the weather was perfect) and we were extremely happy with the accommodation. The kitchen was very well equipped and the wifi had recently been upgraded much to my 16 yr old's approval. The beds were so comfy, we really had the best sleep. The enclosed garden was brilliant for our two dogs, it's in a lovely location and only a 15 minute walk to the beach at Winterton-on-Sea and to our favourite restaurant/pub, the Fisherman's Return. I would definitely recommend, the local dog walkers were very friendly.

We spent Christmas 2019 at the Coach house and were very impressed with the accommodation.
We spent Christmas 2019 at the Coach house and were very impressed with the accommodation. The Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked a full christmas dinner with all the trimmings. There was tea towels, dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials, toilet rolls provided and a lovely bottle of fizzy! The owners had decorated the house which was lovely. The local beach which is a five minute drive away has a population of seals living on it, Yarmouth is half an hour away.

A lovely cottage.
A lovely cottage.. very well equipped..brilliantly heated by an eco friendly log fire..
Only one thing to complain about..the oven was really dirty and there was hair in the plug hole in second bedroom..
I didn’t use the oven as I would have had to clean it first ( Don’t expect to do deep cleaning when on holiday )

Great holiday with my family, everything there that you could want, a real family house. Yes it could do with a little TLC but then maybe that adds to the comfort & ambiance of the home. Nice clean comfy beds, felt like being at home but with more space & quieter!! ...Thank you, hopefully we will return next year xxxxx

Stayed here for a week and overall it's a great place to be located and stay.
Approx 15-20 min walk to the nearest pub in winterton off road so no issues. Beach 5 Min extra.
The wood pellet boiler in living room makes the palace very warm and cozy, if not too warm in the evening!
Plenty of parking out front and the garden is a real sun trap so good for sunny days.
Barn has a dart board and table football.
I would come back again.

Warm property, comfy beds, great location.
Warm property, comfy beds, great location. A brilliant space for a family holiday with our grandchildren and dogs. The addition of dish washer tabs, dishcloths and a welcome pack would have increased the scores when rating our stay. We also found the sofas uncomfortable when relaxing back at the house after long days out.

What a wonderfully relaxing week-end for our party of 4 and 2 dogs as a surprise for my husband's Birthday. Lovely leisurely stroll through the lane to Winterton dunes and coast, and truly lovely to see all the seals and pups on the beach. The cottage was warm, cosy and inviting and had absolutely everything we needed. We took a car full of food and drink, so other than walking the dogs each day, we spent all the rest of our time at the cottage making full use of the excellent facilities. Would definitely highly recommend, and look forward to going back again.
