We had an absolutely fabulous week at Beach Point cottage. We had 9 people ranging from ages 14 - 82. The place is very comfortable, clean and cozy. Lots of fun nightime conversations, drinks and games at the large dining room table. It was also great working with Logan who provided great insights on the house, the town and the park. He was soo helpful and happy to answer any questions at anytime before and during the trip.
And of course it is right in one of the most beautiful towns. Walking to where the water and the fabulous view is takes 10-15 minutes or so (depending on who you are walking with) and it is a great walk as you walk by all kinds of restaurants, bars and shops (which can be difficult to walk by without going in). A fabulous town. And it can be difficult to find parking in the town so staying where we were was great.
So we loved Beach Point Cottage, we also loved the beautiful town and views, of course we loved the park and the hikes and the views, all of the recommendations Logan had given us, the people we met, and did I mention the views?
We had 2 days when a storm and fog came in and the views disappeared which made us appreciate them even more when they came back.....
Beach Point Cottage was perfect for our family vacation in Maine and we plan to be back.

Perfect location and arrangement for 10 adults, 2 - 2 year olds and 1 infant. Location for getting to Acadia NP each day for hikes and walking into Bar Harbor being 1 block away made it a very convenient location. Host was very helpful and responsive. House has all the amenities needed for cooking and doing laundry. Really nice to have a dining table that fits 10 to allow us to be at the table together.

This house was perfect!
It was probably the most well stocked rental I’ve had. It was fully stocked with all the essentials. It was great not having to bring towels, sheets, and even cleaning supplies.
The beds were very comfortable.
We never used our car unless we went into Acadia which was a very short drive. Other than that everything was walking distance.
The communication was great from the booking to checkout.
I would absolutely book this house again.

Our family of five loved our stay at Beach Point Cottage. The location to the town, restaurants, and proximity to Acadia was wonderful and the set up in the house couldn't have been more perfect. We had everything we needed and created memories that will last forever. Highly recommend!!

The property was in an ideal location with easy access to all that Bar Harbor has to offer. The host did a great job preparing us for our stay with lots of restaurant and activity suggestions. The house was perfect for our group of six. Would definitely recommend this property for groups visiting the Bar Harbor area.

This is a perfect location and great house for families. We are frequent VRBO renters and this house met all expectations and criteria…super clean, walkable to everything, comfortable beds, coffee available for the first morning, all paper products, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, and many other amenities. Also great communication with owner. Highly recommend.

It is an older home, with a charming old-style front sun room, while the inside has been nicely refurbished. The location is excellent. It is situated in an older neighborhood, which initially surprised us - but we quickly discovered that it's only a block off the main road where assorted Inns are located. So there's easy access to restaurants, shops, and the water in Bar Harbor. While we decided to drive into Acadia, we could have easily walked to the free shuttle stop in the heart of Bar Harbor. In addition, there was a lovey element of hospitality - there was a welcome basket with a few drinks and snacks, as well as enough coffee supplies to get us through the first morning. We arrived late and very much appreciated that touch, but even without the coffee on hand, a great little coffee shop was just a few minutes walk. In addition, when we reached out to Logan he responded within minutes - so on the off chance that you run into a problem, I’m sure it’ll be resolved quickly.

A wonderful cottage just one block off of Main Street - quiet neighborhood but then a quick walk down the street and you are in downtown Bar Harbor. Logan was the best host - so kind and patient when I would contact him with questions on information he previously provided. He was always very prompt in responding and also reached out to make sure everything was good. The cottage was super clean and had everything we could need. The master bed (the only one we used) was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again - thank you Logan!

Very clean house with plenty of space. Great location makes for an easy walk to any location in Bar Harbor, and easy access to Acadia. Host was most gracious and proactive with great communication. Will look to stay here again!

We had a group of 6 adults and 3 children. The location is a close, easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor and just a 5 minute drive to the entrance of Acadia NP. The house is older but has had some renovations. All the bedrooms are close to each other on the 2nd floor with 1 bathroom on the 2nd floor and 1 on the main level. The kitchen is well stocked and the internet worked well. The table for 10 was perfect for our family meals and card games. One word of caution is that because the house is older the doors and floors can be noisy, so if you have light sleepers or people that aren't on the same schedule, it could be an issue (even though it was not a problem for us). I would not hesitate to stay again if we visit Bar Harbor in the future.

Great Location. Right at downtown Bar Harbor. Fantastic location for those seeking less dependence on a car while staying in the village. Close to all the action, but still quiet at night. Would stay here again.

Our group consisted of 3 couples and 2 kids (both under 2). This house was perfect for our trip to Acadia NP. Super close to the park entrances (less than 5 minute drive). It was also AWESOME to be able to come back home in the afternoons, park our cars at the house, and then just walk to the shops/restaurants around Bar Harbor in the evenings. Very convenient location and Logan was a great host!

This house was centrally located with easy walking to the restaurants, shops and beautiful shore path in Bar Harbor as well as to the bus stop at the Village Green to Acadia.

Cottage was charming, very comfortable and well appointed. Beds and linens were very comfortable which is important to us after an incredibly active day! Logan was an excellent host, checking in at the beginning and end of our stay, just the right amount, to ensure we had everything we needed. Perfect location for walking to shops, restaurants as well as trails for the more adventuresome as we were. We brought our Labrador who also had a great time and found the location perfect for him, too.

Spring Vacation in Bar Harbor
Beach Point Cottage is conveniently located near Bar Harbor’s Main Street with its restaurants and shops. It is also close to the lovely Shore Path with its beautiful views of Frenchman Bay. The cottage is much roomier than the photos show - especially the Master bedroom. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fully supplied with high quality pots, pans, and utensils. Logan was a very gracious host and was available to assist if we needed help with anything.

SIX Stars!
If I could give this house six stars, I would! Everything was just perfect. My family and I spent a long weekend up in Bar Harbor, a place we often return to, and for our trip this time we decided upon staying at the Beach Point Cottage… And I’m glad we did. The house is just a perfect, well-kept, Bar Harbor cottage. The housekeeping was top notch. Terrifically clean. All the furnishings and beds were very comfortable. And staying right in town is the best. You can walk anywhere you want to go in Bar Harbor, and come back to a peaceful, home on a lovely block at the end of your adventures. I loved my morning coffee on the porch before everyone else in the house woke up, and our wonderful walks to cottage Street for breakfast in the morning afterwards. We created a lot of good memories here. Loved it!

Wonderful!
We spent a lovely fall vacation at Beach Point Cottage! This was by far the best vacation homes we’ve ever rented. The house was equipped with everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, charmingly decorated, and very warm and welcoming! The beds were super comfortable as well as the bedding. Throughout this house we found thoughtful touches that made our visit just wonderful - including the list of recommended restaurants and sights. The location cannot be beat. We hardly ever used our car. We walked to the shops and restaurants. And it was just about a mile to get to Acadia. Logan is a very thoughtful and hospitable host. He answered any questions we had right away, and it seemed a priority for him to make sure we had a great vacation, which of course we did. We prepared big feasts in the house on several of the nights during our visit. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including condiments which was handy because we didn’t have to buy everything at the store. There was a big screen TV with all of the streaming services already logged on for us. Lots of board games and interesting books on the lovely enclosed porch. We are already planning our return visit!

Fantastic Experience!
Just to begin with the manager of the property was extremely professional and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The home was in a great location to walk anywhere we wanted to go. We got the opportunity to meet a few neighbors and they were more than helpful and very nice. The home was clean and the instructions of how to leave it were clear. Also, the pantry was stocked with a few essentials such as coffee and sugar so we didn't have to make a store run as we checked in late. The manager emailed me a list of recommendations of places to try around town and they all were amazing. We will return!

Great Location/Property Description over-stated
Short walk to Main street, shops/restaurants so location GREAT, quiet neighborhood. Communication with owner great. When had issue with only TV in den not working on first night, came and replaced next day with brand new one ! Description says, " completely redone with brand new touches throughout", "new Kitchen", "quite literally from top to bottom has been restored", "enhanced cleaning protocol" ....can't totally agree. Kitchen not new as far as cabinets/counters, hardwood floors upstairs painted and some wear on floors/walls. Note that no a/c or heat registers/vents upstairs and had to turn downstairs heat on very high to heat rooms and leave bdrm doors open to get heat from downstairs floor heaters. No end tables/shelves in bedroom we stayed in for electronic devices/clocks, etc. We did eat out all meals so didn't use any cookware. Opened condiments in fridge and pantry cabinet in hall so did not use as well. Good stay except had higher expections based on description on VRBO.

Perfect Downtown Bar Harbor Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect for activities both downtown and in Acadia. The property was clean and well appointed, and Logan is a gracious host and communicates as well as any property owner/manager we have dealt with using VRBO.

Perfect house and location!
Perfect house for our family! It was clean, kitchen was well stocked and there were notes throughout the house which answered any questions we had (when to put out trash, how to work air, etc). House was in great location. It was just a short walk to restaurants, shops and buses to Acadia. Logan (owner) was very attentive, provided lots of info on the house and area prior to our arrival, and responded quickly with any questions we had during our stay. All in all, excellent place to stay!

Great for the entire family!
We were looking for a property walking distance to town, large enough for 8 adults and a dog. We were so fortunate to find this beautifully maintained house. Logan was fantastic, he kept in touch prior to our arrival, providing helpful tips for changes in the park.
The location cannot be beat, a quiet side street with off street parking for two cars, yet a five minute walk to the center of downtown.
The house was impeccable, everything is updated, two great bathrooms, ample kitchen with dishwasher, washer/ dryer. We loved the front and back porches, we hung out there quite a bit, very inviting and comfortable. Plenty of room for our extended family, so grateful to be able to get together. Thank you so much, Logan, we hope to stay at your lovely home again soon!
