Parking is an absolute nightmare at this location, plan well before you go as once you're there there's not much you can do, the wifi is atrocious (wouldn't work on apple devices) and obviously no phone signal in that location so we couldn't book into the carpark opposite. Staff weren't very helpful as it must happen all the time here. Wish we'd stayed further out and just used the park and ride. The Just Park carpark costs a fortune and the hostel itself doesn't have many free spaces.

Staff were very helpful
Hair on pillows
Dryer room smelled & dirty
Other guests banging on doors & being loud running up & down Corridors all night until Midnight couldn’t get asleep

Room was clean and spacious, checkin process went smooth. Bathrooms were clean.
Once you are in the hostel there are no facility or restaurant nearby

The location was fantastic for climbers as we was doing!
There was someone’s poo smeared on the wall in the toilet so we used the communal one!

The staff were incredibly helpful and even went as far to help plan our route on Snowdon-Yr Wyddfa. The beds had fresh linen and good ammendities that were better than any other hostel of a similar description. Location simply couldn't be better. The breakfast was also very generous.
The evening food was OK. I didn't expect much but perhaps the pizza could be looked at interms of quality. Generally fine.
5.0
location, drying room, equipped kitchen and dining room
noise in the corridors and in neighboring rooms after 10 p.m., doors slamming in the corridors, small window in the bedroom for 6 people, poorly ventilated room, a mini-sink in the bathroom, even when washing, there is a lot of water on the floor

How well the place is organized, how welcoming and helpful are the staff and how conviently equiped the hostel is. (And partucularly we liked Samy, the receptionist.:)

Good food, clean rooms, great value for money.

Hygiene inside the room could be better.
There were single rooms available on the day I checked in. But apparently that wasn't what was reflected on the site while booking. And I had to pay for a 6 bedded 'private' room since that was the only available option to choose from

Met by great staff. Really helpful
Stayed in room 10. Bottom bunk mattress was painful to sleep on. I'm a podgy middle age man.. my hips are not boney. :) It must be the mattress.

The whole stay was great with the amenities and food exceeding expectations. More importantly the staff were amazing, informative, helpful and friendly. In particular the young lady from Italy (we didn't catch her name) was extremely professional friendly and incredibly professional.

Bit dark and stuffy. Staff were not particularly helpful or friendly but they looked exhausted at the end of a long day. Hard to find the kitchen and not clear how to use some of the facilities but once we settled in we cheered up help by the the decent bar service and friendly other guests.
Being told to park 3 miles away and wait for park and ride.

warm. friendly. perfect place
terrible parking
4.0
- hot food available (delicious chips)
- sink in the bedroom
- beautiful scenery
- comfortable bed
- no on-site parking: carpark across the accommodation is owned by someone else, pre-booked online only, and extremely expensive: at £40 overnight in November (17:00-07:00)
- we paid £35 for a one-night stay, which is a good price, but almost £75 in total: it would have been cheaper, comfier and far better overall if we would have booked a hotel.
- very cold bedroom: no heating in the late autumn evening - we expected to warm up and spend a nice evening in the bedroom, but it was too cold, so we just took up the shower and went straight away to bed.
- huge, cold, complicated, and unpleasant building: self-catering kitchen at the very end of the building and hard to find, shower rooms and toilets at the end of the corridors.
- shower room with lack of hangs for the towels, clothes, and other stuff - not clean, flooded, with push shower.
- claustrophobically tiny toilets with broken taps.
- no table or chair in the bedroom - only in the communal areas such as the restaurant or dining room.
- doors opened by a token only - must remember to always have it when leaving the room.
