einfache aber gemütliche Unterkunft, Personal sehr hilfsbereit!
war immer spannend ob es eine warme oder kalte Dusche gibt!

Nice place even tho' i heard not to walk at night, but it may apply to everywhere near the old town and surroundings, overall I liked it. full of students as it is closer to a university, which is great, they know the place and you can ask them anything about the area and they will let you know. I also make "friends" with one of them, so It was really great. I had an amizing stay. receptionist was kind and they have laundry service with G-R-E-A-T prices .. was very handy
I have nothing bad to say about. everything was good. perhaps wifi could be stronger anyway you have many tables around reception to eat, socialize and use wifi. so it worked very well.
4.3
The receptionist was super friendly and very patient with our not so good Spanish.
4.3
Super nice staff! Not the most welcoming area, but central to many things and easy to get around. Lots of nice common areas to socialize or work.
4.3
A great spot to stay and explore Quito and the places nearby. You always will feel like coming home... Because of the amazing friendly people there and the calmness of the hostel with this nice patio.

4.3
The staff were amazing and Carlos is a super dude really felt welcome and would be visiting again would highly recommend this place.

A very helpful friendly owner with a very private and pleasant ensuite courtyard room and shared balcony. The breakfasts are worth the small extra. The room provided solice and was cleaned every day. It's easy to walk to various tourist spots.
The surrounding roads are noisy and filled with traffic and fumes.

The male receptionist was very kind.
A lot of things. First, the female receptionist was very rude, the day I arrived she told me I MUST to pay in cash and when I tried to explain that literally there's one single specification about the cash payment she stop me and cut me several times, so needed to ask her for let me finish to explain me, she just said "is nor necessary I already understand you but the boss is not here in Ecuador is in Switzerland and we can't do anything". It was raining, she didn't explained me anything about the hostel and I got wet in my way to ask her for the internet password (because there's a large garden in the middle with no roof to protect you from the rain). At the end, fortunately I made some friends who need tu buy some stuff so I pay their things with my credit card and got the cash to pay the hostel, because the didn't gave the chance to pay with my credit card, I was lucky I guess. Another day , and the next day, the male recepcionist started to make some carpentry works at 6pm and the at 3pm. Finally ,the hostel location is far away for the historical part.

Very friendly staff, nice room and comfortable bed, quiet
Often people smoking in the lobby, a fair walk to nicer parts of Quito, the shower was dripping constantly

Nice, clean, quite place. No frills. No Tv. Good hot shower and simple but good breakfast. Served our purpose well for a night before our flight out.
Staff was very nice..
Alls good.

The person at the front desk wasa very cordial and helpful.
I have stayed here many times over the years. However, now the property seems ran down and lifeless. The wifi is horrible, they have not upgraded to televisions in the rooms, and there is just nothing to do. The beds feel old and are not very comfortable and the breakfast is so basic its not worth purchasinng. Again. I am used to the old feel, breakfast that included fruit and options.
4.3
central to area, inexpensive with great coffee and the best scrambled eggs for bkfst. I loved my room, basic , but very comfortable !

Our second stay there, Juan Carlos was again so helpful and smiling. We asked and got a bigger room. Great value for money.
4.3
We liked the super friendly staff, Juan Carlos was very helpful and kind. A simple and clean room, the room was cleaned every day and towels changed. And our kid loved the biliard table and the croissant at breakfast. Thanks!

They allowed us to check in very late and were very nice!
4.3
Friendly, clean and secure.
4.3
The general settings, the cleanliness
Bed is not very comfortable, the room may be cold sometimes, there's no way to warm it.
Hot water is not stable, sometimes very hot, sometimes very cold.
Breakfast is expensive for what they offer. (we had better breakfast in the historical center for half the price)
