Perfect home for our family (6 adults + 2 babies). Everything was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and left music playing and fresh fruit in the fridge. Really enjoyed the lovely backyard and porch area. We were in town for a family wedding and the location was very convenient for all the weekend activities.

Wonderful stay at this property. The whole property was better than expected. Fully stocked kitchen, plush bedding, cozy towels and throw blankets. Peaceful location close to attractions and secluded enough to get away from it all. Perfect getaway and great hosts.

The property was like it was advertised. It rained the first day while we were but the big covered area in the back made for a relaxing place to hang out.

Nice with a couple of quirks.
First of all, the property worked out really well for our group and we were overall very happy with our stay. The proximity to the Speedway is about as good as it gets and access to grocery stores & food is good as well.
The first obstacle is the entry to the property, if you have a small or lowered vehicle I would highly suggest against attempting to get into the drive as it is quite narrow and steep with a quick transition.
Second and probably the most inconvenient quirk of the property had to be the fact that the main shared bath has a full sized tub, but NO SHOWERHEAD! If you have a decent sized group then this is obviously a fairly significant inconvenience.
My only other gripe with the property was their wifi cameras. I fully understand and support the property owners right to have perimeter cameras around the home, but having a camera on the back patio is an invasion of privacy and something that I highly suggest moving or removing altogether.
The house honestly was a pretty good value overall and with a few small tweaks could be really good.

What a charming home.
This home was clean, well appointed, lots of little extras. Loved the fire pit and spending time on the back potio. Just a short drive to ETSU and pretty much any store or restaurant you may want. We had a great stay.

Perfect property for staying with extended family
The house is lovely, and clearly well looked after. The layout of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect: the grandparents had one side of the house, and our family of five had a great set-up on the other side. It was fun to have the river right there, even visible from the kitchen window. The host had generously provided a wide range of snacks for our stay. This was a wonderful stay in every way.

Beautiful Big Yard
We are a family of 6 and we had lots of room for all of us. We stayed for our middle son's High School Graduation Ceremony in Bristol. This was a great location for this. My youngest 2 kids loved the large yard to play in.

Beautiful large yard for kids to run around.
We stayed for our middle son's graduation ceremony in Bristol. We had a very nice stay. My youngest boys enjoyed being able to run around a lot outside. Nice and roomy for everyone as a family of 6.

Comfy and convenient
We enjoyed our stay but the weather was too bad to enjoy the patio and fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and the extra goodies were appreciated. We used the King bed, which was very comfortable. We will book this property again if we are in the area.

Elizabethton VRBO
My sister and her family had to come to Elizabethton for a death in her husband's family, I wanted to find them a convenient and nice place to stay while they were visiting. I would have to say that this was my first experience in booking with VRBO and this was an exceptional experience in all categories. The home was immaculate. The property manager/owner was one of the most caring people I've had the pleasure of communicating with. I am so grateful for everyone involved with this booking. I will definitely refer more people to this location and I know my family will definitely stay at this location again when visiting the area. Absolutely a 5 🌟 experience!

Home base for Motorcycling weekend
4 of us used this as our home base as we explored the great riding all around the area. The house was perfect for us, and we used part of the covered patio to park the bikes overnight. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, including some appetizers in the fridge, and delivering a crock pot of delicious chili and all the fixins one night. Highly recommend!

Lovely home
This was a lovely home with everything you need there. The outdoor area in the back was so nice to visit. The flowers and meat and cheese tray left was so thoughtful. I thought the front porch and front yard were lovely as well. Comfortable beds!!

Wonderful Oasis
We had such a great time here this week. The home is clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for our group of 2 adults and 6 children. The yard is huge and lots of mature trees and a bamboo forest. It feels very private. The kids loved playing basketball (balls and hoop provided), making s’mores on the fire pit (which had plenty of wood and kindling), and exploring. It’s only a few minutes from everything. The kids loved the Sycamore Shoals Trail and Blue Hole Falls. I would love to rent again!

Fun in the mountains
Our group stayed at this property for a week of racing at Bristol Speedway. When not at the racetrack we loved the town and restaurants available there. Our host Anna was such a delight and had everything in spotless shape. She even had trays of meats, cheeses and vegies for us. Thanks Anna for evrything! Steve and Mona

Thanksgiving Family Getaway
This was our second Thanksgiving in this home. We truly enjoyed our stay again! The house is very clean and comfortable. It is convenient to town and shopping. Nice special touches by Ann and Greg including Thanksgiving cookware, season decor and little treats! Unfortunately we woke up the day after Thanksgiving to a refrigerator not working, completely warm inside, but Ann and Greg had a new one there by the afternoon! We would definitely continue to choose this location when we are jn the area!

Great place to stay for trout fishing trip
Property was exactly as advertised. Outdoor space. was fantastic. Large fire pit, multiple areas for outdoor seating. Place was very clean, property manager added special touches such as welcome note, cheese plate on arrival. Would recommend.

Nice place to sit around
The house was very clean. We were welcomed with cheese and crackers and our family's favorite was the huge bag of popcorn. Good to note that the king size bed is located on the opposite side of the house from the others (very secluded). I couldn't easily figure out how to work the TV, but the kids didn't have any problem. Although the house is located near the main road, it is hidden by lots of trees and feels secluded. We loved the covered patio with the open space, hammock, chairs and night lights, as well as the huge flat back yard. Was not able to take our kayaks out on the river from the property, but my son squished through and tried to fish. Very basic, but nice property. Would recommend owners to purchase a pizza pan, pizza cutter and shorter stools. We could not use the stools to sit at the kitchen counter.
