Clean and spacious property in the heart of Bar Harbor. Walking distance to everything in town. 2 families (4 adults, 3 kids - 6, 12, 14) were cozy. 1 bath with shower; other bath has jacuzzi tub but no shower. Kitchen well stocked with appliances and gadgets. 2 SUV’s were snug in driveway. Could’ve fit either car in garage. Driveway is shared with neighboring property - was not an issue. Overall great stay. We would book again.

My daughter and I came for a girls trip in early May and what a wonderful time we had! The Parsonage house was so beautiful and well equipped. It was spotless and the crew was very responsive to any questions we had. We could walk anywhere in town and hardly needed the car. We hiked Acadia 2 days, rented ebikes, and had amazing massages after our excursions. We also enjoyed fantastic ice cream at the end of the day. Restaurants were excellent and the shopping was plentiful. It was absolutely perfect for us and although we arrived early in the season, there were plenty of things to do and places to eat. I would definitely return and stay here.... highly recommend!

The home was a short walk to town which was perfect for us. The Parsonage was extremely clean and cozy. We will be back next year!

As kids we vacationed in the Bar Harbor area but as adults we have never been back. Our planned 2020 trip was derailed by the Pandemic but our week in October 2023 more than made up for that disappointment. The house was comfortable and cozy. The house was perfect!

We loved staying at the Parsonage!! We were very comfortable in this lovely home. Very clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for us to use the bus transportation at the Village Green. We would definitely like to rent here again.

House was clean and freshly painted. Furniture typical of NE. Several glitches with appliances, but not critical. Bath setup is less than ideal--1/2 bath down, 1 bath on 2 with the only house shower, 1 bath on 3--now shower. Use by 4 was okay; use by six would have been difficult. TV was impossible to use (Roku with essentially no free service--not even broadcast), but not important since TV room is reached only through one of the BR's. Parking is an issue--only one car can exit as others are trapped.
No on street parking permitted. But walkable to just about everything downtown and about 2 miles to entry to Acadia. We'd do it again. Fair value.

We’ve been to Bar Harbor a lot and the Parsonage has been our favorite place by far!!!! The house was a beautiful old Maine home that made you instantly feel like you were on vacation. The location couldn’t be beat - walks to town every night for dinner and shopping and just a short drive to the park during the day. The house was incredibly clean and the owners were kind and responsive. We loved this place!!

House is well equipped with everything you would need. They supplied toilet paper, soaps and paper towels which was very appreciated. They also supplied umbrellas and re usable shopping bags which were both required during our stay. Walking distance to food and shopping.

Nicer than pictures. Super clean. King bed very soft but 2nd floor queen firmer and very comfy. My daughter loved having the 3d floor bedroom & bath to herself.
Beautiful older home well taken care of. Creaky floors and all...just a charming house. Lots of space. Loved having morning coffee on the enclosed front porch. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need even spices & coffee filters. But with all of Bar Harbor restaurants a 3 minute walk away...why cook? Especially loved the newer restaurant "Project Social". Best food all week. And MDI ice cream is a must! The Hulls Cove park entrance is a 10 minute drive from the house and we were in the park biking etc daily. Loved Island Time ebike rentals we rented for 2 days and rode every inch of the carriage paths. Sad that the Jordan Pond House restaurant just isnt what it use to be. Not worth it anymore. (Ive been coming to the park for 30+ years and recall when the food was amazing) Popovers not the same. Dry? And they cheaped out on the jam...more like jelly. Lunch there was forgettable and sad that we wasted 2 hours there (slow service) that we could have been biking. Pack a picnic or grab takeout from the Jordan Pond takeout store.

Could not have asked for better experience. Fabulous house, excellent location. Can walk to everything, food, boat, bike rentals, bars, etc. Owner supplied everything you might want, grill, jacuzzi, complete kitchen, comfortable furniture, garage, etc, etc. Much more than I had expected!

This property is as advertised. Wonderful location, 5-10 minute walk to Main Street and the waterfront. The neighborhood is very quiet. The home had all the amenities needed for 6 adults, for 5 days. Plenty of room too.

I rented this property for a family vacation. It was a beautiful property with plenty of space. The cabinets were well stocked. There was great communication with the property manager after we had a leak in the bathroom but it was taken care of immediately. The location was awesome! We were close to everything, downtown, restaurants, golfing and of course Acadia National Park. I would definitely rent again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Family trip Bar Harbor and Acadia
The house couldn't have been better. It was clean, well supplied, and the layout was perfect for our family with three kids. We were there for five nights in October. The location was easily walkable to downtown Bar Harbor as well as being an easy drive to everything we wanted to do in Acadia.

Great except one thing
The overall property was very well located for walking and dining in Bar Harbor, all of the rooms in the house were well appointed and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. Only major drawback we discovered on our last day when packing up to leave was there was a big pile of rodent droppings under the sink. Totally gross. Would have killed the visit had we seen it early in our trip. Very unexpected given the immaculate cleanliness of the rest of the house.

Great place & location for 6 people
I would highly recommend this house for your stay in BH. Centrally located, everyone had their own room, can walk into town which is ideal since parking is tough to find. We had 4 adults and 2 teens.

Fall Getaway
This house was perfect! We had 4 adults and a child spanning 3 generations for just over a week. Lots of room for us to work & play. Great location to the National Park and walking to center of Bar Harbor. Sunrises, sunsets, hiking, scenic drives, cute shops, lobster, lighthouses. Plus *wonderful* owners! What more could you ask for :-)

WOW!!! The Parsonage was PERFECT for my group of friends (7 total) who visited Bar Harbor for 5 days/4 nights. Location: 6/5. It is literally a 5-minute walk to Main Street and super central to everything. The neighborhood is quiet at night but we felt very safe.Cleanliness: 5/5. It is very comforting to know and witness how clean this place was especially during a pandemic. All the bedsheets, linens, towels, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms were sparkly clean.Amenities: 6/5. There is more than enough for 8 people. Utensils, towels, pillows, you name it!Communication: 6/5. Any concerns that were communicated had a prompt response time (less than 5 mins). Some minor issues to share:1. This is an older house so the bed and floors (on the 3rd floor) do creak at night if you move. Not really a big deal for us.2. The water pressure in the 3rd-floor bathtub was extremely low and you basically cannot shower there. All 7 of us had to wait for one shower in the 2nd-floor bathroom. This was communicated to the property manager and they are looking to get a plumber in to fix this. Overall, I would highly recommend The Parsonage to anyone looking to stay in Bar Harbor.

Great stay.
Well maintained house, lot of space and character. The house is walking distance to main street. Most trails are a very short drive from the house. There was enough pots, pans and cookwear for the 8 of us.
