Good location for my trip, good parking and electric charging points. Rooms are acceptable, however, full of dust. The TV was thick in dust as were lampshade. Room was very hot even with no heating on. Didn’t have a remote for TV and asked twice at reception but didn’t receive one, so couldn’t use it. Probably a 3star stay at best

Really nice place, however breakfast was a little excessively priced I think at £15.95.

Feel dissapointed i booked this hotel as feel it was massively mis sold! The rooms were extremely basic with TWO plug sockets! Freezing cold small, the duvet was paper thin, the bar on the side of the hotel was ridiculously expensive! We only stayed so we could get an early start for the airport but if id have booked for a weekend away i would have left! Food terrible! We got chatting to a couple and the bar closed at about quart to 11..no warning, so we were told go to reception they will serve you, well the woman on reception looked furious and charged us way over the odds for another drink! Never again.

Very cost effective quick booking and check in, parking and restaurant in the hotel and a bar with karaoke on a Monday night, breakfast also great, no complaints

Not the greatest service at breakfast
Toaster broke, but then sorted 15 minutes later
Had to ask for tea
Bacon, mushrooms and hash browns.
Waiting for 10 minutes
Bit chaotic
But staff did their best

Stayed for a night when up for a meeting. Free parking was a bonus.
Receptionist when I checked in was so nice, I was early but she found me a room.
The room was faultless, bed and pillows so comfortable, Shower excellent, big TV.
Will stay from now on when in Newcastle

Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel was very clean. A few minutes walk from West Jesmond Metro station for links to the city centre, the airport and the coast. Local shops and eateries.

Great location with good nightlife all around. Very nice room, with a good selection of free snacks.

Everyone was lovely, helpful and very polite.
My room was overlooking the street were there are a couple pubs. That means that you have the noise from the outside until they are closed. Unless you just go down for a drink.
The room was clean, but the bathroom needs to be updated.
Moreover you can hear discussions from next door and people walking outside your door.
The breakfast was quite good.

It says Free parking at the hotel, but no parking spaces were available. Staff vehicles were parked at their carpark yet none was moved. This resulted in me parking opposite the hotel, where I was charged a parking ticket as apparently the hotel doesn’t even have “residents permit” like other hotels do.
The room was clean, the food was great (I had creamy mushrooms and pesto pasta)! But you need to sort your parking..

The property was ideally situated for my purposes. Very nice hotel, staff and bar/restaurant. The surrounding area of the hotel, particularly to the rear car park is a bit rundown, however this doesn't reflect on the hotel interior or facilities. Another issue I had was that my room was exceptionally warm most probably due to the location within the hotel building.

This hotel is fine. It’s perfectly clean and comfortable but just a bit old fashioned. I was also so surprised to not have anywhere to hang clothes. Luckily my dress was on a hanger so it got hung on the door riser. Very odd!
Be aware that there is VERY little parking for the hotel and the roads around for a good way are resident permit only. That was a real problem for a lot of people.

Friendly receptionist on checking in. Room wasn’t quite ready when I checked in but true to his word he found me in the restaurant as soon as it was ready.
Good sized room and comfortable bed. No AC so even with windows open it was a scorcher.
Slightly dated interiors but otherwise enjoyable stay.

Decent location; room clean and comfortable but a bit hot despite opening 2 small windows.
Breakfast as expected with hot food mostly a decent warmth.

Good service and location.

Brilliant customer service. We got checked in early as our room was available.
Nice rooms. Usb port by the bedside. TV with usual channels on. Couldn't find a way to sign into you tube. Beds were like two mattresses together and bed was on wheels.
Altogether a nice hotel. Would stay again short taxi to city around £6

Great customer service, parking sorted, breakfast good quality though be aware of the hotel busy time and avoid it!

This is a nice hotel located on the out skirts of Newcastle. The rooms are of a good size and the hotel has a very nice bar with a large out door seating area, the bar is used for breakfast where a very good continental and cooked breakfast is also available. The staff are very good but the parking is limited.

This hotel is in a very nice area of Newcastl plenty of very good restaurants well within walking distance.

It was a perfectly fine room but, ironically, too warm! Whoever says that about a British hotel room?! At least the beds were comfortable. The shower tub has one of those annoying half pieces of glass so water goes all over the floor when you shower but at least the water is warm and there is good pressure. Make sure to ask for extra shampoo, conditioner, and soap - they only left one small bottle of each for the three of us. Breakfast was fine with a good variety. There is only a tiny antique elevator so if you have a lot of luggage, you may have some difficulty.

Having stayed here before we decided to book again. Hotel is easy to find with free car parking at the rear and Jesmond is a great area with bars, restaurants and cafes and only a short hop on the metro into Newcastle. Hotel reception and bar area clean and welcoming. Twin room was ok apart from leaking shower, which meant water covered bathroom floor after showering and had to use towel soak it up. Breakfast ok but staff should monitor the food more, as some hot food ran out and was then waiting 15 mins for more to be cooked and brought out. Would I stay again - yes - but the hotel just need to ensure the room facilities and basics are done well.

Staff were good. Room was a decent size, clean and with good facilities.
The area was a very busy student area. I could hear bass music all Sunday evening in my room which was on second floor.
Parking is limited in tight spaces at rear of hotel.
Breakfast was or good quality.

Great stay for two nights. Good location with a nice bar attached to hotel and several more in street. Stayed in Executive double room which was spacious and clean with plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc supplied. Very good breakfast offered as well. Staff polite and attentive.

Clean if dated room, great bed. However the floors creak terribly, there is no quietly going to the bathroom here.
Breakfast was good, even if the toaster sets off the fire alarm

Perfect location for us and loved The Phoenix Bar, especially if you’re a NUFC fan! We shall be back.
