Gute Lage. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Obwohl uns ein Babybett versprochen wurde gab es keins. Es gab einfach ein einzelnes Bett dazu, welches uns nicht wirklich diente.

The staff was exceptional, very kind, helpful, nice! Also the air conditioning and the wifi was great. It was quiet, slept easily.
The double bed was small for 2 person, but the room had 2 beds so it wasn't a problem.
9.0 / 10.0
The high score is largely because of the staff who present likely the highest degree of professionalism for a property of this type.
This goes for the reception staff at check in (easy), the doorman who walked with me to the parking and offered to help with luggage all the time, the cleaning staff who made everything perfect, the maintenance who make it all look pretty, and the restaurant staff who prepare fresh breakfast al gusto, also for vegetarians.
One time I was busy during breakfast time and they prepared a meal for me and brought it to my room. So sweet.
I requested a room with good wifi. The wifi in the room was functional.
The property is safe, 24 hr staff/security, and looks amazing on the inside. The room has a good working a/c, the bed sleeps nice, and there is a small desk.
I was blessed with a warm shower on my last night. The temperature fluctuates on the other days, mostly cold or luke warm. Not sure if this can be changed.
Tuxla is not everyone's cup of tea I assume. I loved the city. It's very lively, did not feel unsafe, not even at night. Lots of restaurants nearby, the main square is just behind the property. Many vendors of foods and other stuff. Easy to get to the canyon from here.
More of a tip: parking is 1 block or so away on a gated property. When you arrive by car, you can put the car on the street in front of the entrance and the front desk staff will come with you to direct you.
Everytime you need to come and go by car someone will have to go with you to open the gate. Almost always someone was there within minutes. It's for security of the car and your belongings, so I understand the system.

dirty and really warm room

As advised, checked in around midnight due to late arrival of my bus, and the night receptionist and check-in procedures were excellent.
The location of the hotel is very good, a couple of blocks from a park that might be considered the centre of town.
Although the room decor is somewhat dated, the furnishings are comfortable, and both the aircon and wifi work well.
In terms of food quality and presentation, service and venue, the hotel's complimentary breakfast was slightly better than that of similar establishments.
Unfortunately, various noise issues marred my experience.
My room (Baja California de Norte) was the closest guest accommodation to the lobby. On both mornings, I was awoken by a loud alarm clock at 6am from the staff/housekeeping room next door that separated my room from the lobby. Noise from the lobby was always clearly audible in my room, my room was at the base of the main staircase to the two higher floors, and every guest entering and exiting the hotel passed by my front door. On the second morning of my two night stay, an extremely loud tour group gathered for lengthy periods in the lobby area near my room both before and after breakfast. There was also an issue with two guests playing music at extremely loud volumes from the internal courtyard, and reluctance from the staff member on duty to request that they turn it down.

The staff was friendly and responsive.
False advertising through booking.com. The room was not what I paid for.

Friendly staff, clean room, centrally located.
This felt a bit like a hostel, very small space and all doors faced to the center, can be noisy at night and early mornings.

Staff: The women at the Front Desk were SO nice and helpful. They made our dinner reservations, called taxis and in general did whatever thet coukd yo make our stay enjoyable.
Location - within walking distance of Marimba Plaza, the Cathedral and various restaurants. We always felt safe.
Breakfast: Delicious Chilaquiles and Hot Cakes. Nice corn muffins sold at the Front Desk were great with coffee.
Rooms: We booked the Junior Suite and were glad we did. There was plenty of room and the A/C was quiet and worked well. The Junior Suites are in the front of the hotel, so there is street noise that you would not get in the Standard rooms. We exchanged a bit of traffic noise for a bit more space. The rooms were exceptionally clean, both bedroom and bathroom. The towels are a bit worn, but the hot water never ran out.
A Marriott this is not, but for the price we paid and the desire to stay "local", we were pleased and would stay again.

The staff is nice and friendly. AC.
No amenities, no bath mat, hands towel was falling apart, no coffee in the room. Tiny rooms. They make the pictures look nicer. Expensive price for a cheap place.

Great value for money, location, courtyard.
Zero sound isolation, when door and windows facing courtyard. So your curtains always have to be closed. Bring earplugs!

The entrance to the hotel and common areas were really lovely. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom was pleasant and modern.
We were only there one night and did not really leave the room Except for breakfast. The lock on the room was just a walk in the handle, no deadbolt. And there is no safe in the room. I didn’t really expect one but if I were staying longer in Tuxtla, that could’ve been an issue.

nice building, nice staff
no one from the staff could speak english, and we reserved the tour for Canon de Sumidero from the hotel and ended up paying 250 pesos more than the other people in the tour with us (just recommending not to book it with the hotel but by yourself)
breakfast was supposed to be yougurt fruit and granola but it was really just fruit
