Hotel was in good location and good parking available
We didn't like the hard poached eggs and the very overcooked bacon, disappointing for an expensive breakfast.

Parking
Only two teabags for two people per day
No biscuits (Best Western always had biscuits on arrival and at least two teabags, coffee per person)
Soap, shampoo containers too hard to use for elderly hands
After asking reception for soap instead and told it would be sent up, not receiving it.

What a hidden gem! We booked just for the one night, we had been travelling the north west and came down from Beaconsfield in the afternoon. Reception were very helpful and friendly. Parking was easy, it was just next door at a discounted rate of $6, you can park out the front of the hotel and drop off bags then go park the car, when leaving you can park at the back door and get your bags in the car from the lifts. So don't be put off by parking offsite, it's actually not what i would consider offsite. The room was big and spacious, plenty of room in the bathroom, with nice hot water and good water pressure. The TV was massive! We had a lounge to sit on instead of sitting on the bed to watch TV and we ate in the restaurant downstairs with the tram in the restaurant, how quirky! The drinks and food were reasonably priced and good value and it was great that after travelling all day we didn't have to go out of the hotel for food. The bed was very comfortable, the heating was cosy and appreciated as the weather had turned bad with wind and rain, but we felt very safe and secure in the hotel. The hotel is easy to find and is right in the middle of the CBD so lots of shops and restaurants are close by, so is the Cataract Gorge and City Park. Thanks again, we will be back for another stay if we are ever in Launceston.
Nothing, everyone was great.

Location was great; comfortable bed; staff friendly and helpful.
Car parking was a bit tight. Small bays and not enough room to easily move into and out of bays.

The bed was fantastic. We had stayed a few years ago, and it was the same. Best nights sleep. Breakfast, especially the Farmers breakfast was really good value. Enough for 2 people.
Bathrooms are a bit dated. Showers over baths are outdated now. Makes it difficult for elderly people who have mobility issues so be aware of that if booking. No flannel, so take your own if you need one. Get in early if you want parking. Parking is a premium, as it is also a public car park.

Staff are friendly.
fairly central to everything. walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
The room was quite shabby, in need of a repaint.
The bare minimum is all you get. Crappy coffee, but only 6 sachets & absolutely NO biscuits- sure there's a vending machine in the lobby if you want chips or chocolate.
What's with the No face washers in the room, why do I need to ask for such a basic item?
I know we're all trying to save money, but this is possibly not the way.

Great location right near everything you need, a nice big bed so we were very comfortable and had good night sleep. Parking was a reasonable price as well.
Restaurant in the building was closed for the period we were there, At night it extremely noisy not in the hotel but outside on the street with hoons driving up and down most of the night. Lucky the room was comfortable so we slept through and didn't notice most nights.

Phil was very very helpful. He even came and helped sort out EV charging on our hire car.
Soap dispenser was empty. We asked at reception for changing. Not actioned. Next day we asked cleaner in hallway and she did not change either, or clean room.

The location is fabulous, and hotel mostly has some affordable room options, this was terrific for a budget friendly easter vacation. I enjoyed a comfy large bed, writing desk, toiletries provided along with kettle and milk. I was blessed that there were 2 back-to-back movies that night. The room was a good size, and I enjoyed the view and the ability to hear the big ben clock chiming from 7am onwards. I appreciated having parking on site. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.
I didn't like that I thought I had booked a room with a bath according to booking.com online and this was not provided with my room. The noise around the rooms from other guests can be annoying at times. I did not have a firm pillow on my bed either which I also requested. Conditioner is not separate from shampoo making it feel less Luxy. Parking is a bit expensive.

Central location.
The parking situation. Even though we booked our parking we were not assured of a parking spot because it was also available to the public. Not good enough for your patrons. Especially the older ones.
