Initially I had to complain about the cleanliness of the room, it was rectified immediately and I was given an alternative room upgrade. The room was clean and met expectations. Staff member dealt with query perfectly. I will return because of this experience.

Very saggy mattress, broken floor tiles in bathroom. Dirty tables in the bar area

The room was good. However, the room was quite warm at night, in spite of the air con.
The staff at the breakfast bar was rude and interrogated me as to why I was 5 min earlier for breakfast. Didn't feel welcomed!

Staff where friendly and helpful
Room stunk of stale ale the minute we walked in, walls where paper thin could hear the bed above all night and music blasting. Out dated decor, wouldn’t say it was worth the money atall and didn’t give the vibe of a higher end hotel.
3.5
The location
Bedroom furniture outdated and decorating
Food over priced

The only saving grace of this hotel is its location, but with Crowne Plaza just a few minutes away, I’ll definitely be staying there next time and recommending it to others.
I recently stayed at The Hilton Liverpool after not visiting for two years, and sadly, the experience was far from what it used to be. There were multiple issues that made our stay uncomfortable and disappointing.
First, the check-in process was unwelcoming as the staff seemed uninterested in helping. The room we were given was not what we expected based on the photos on booking.com—much smaller, with barely any space for our luggage. To make matters worse, the bedsheets had visible stains and fur, which was a clear sign the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. Even after requesting fresh sheets, they still had stains on them. The remote control was also filthy, which further contributed to the lack of cleanliness.
The room itself was poorly maintained, with the finishing around the windows and door showing signs of wear and tear. It’s clear that the hotel needs some serious refurbishment.
When we asked for a late check-out due to our late-night flight, the request was denied, which added more stress to an already unpleasant stay.
Hilton Liverpool, you’ve lost a loyal customer.

Excellent location. Great room. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
A very good breakfast, apart from the hash browns, not very crispy, and the black pudding, which was quite dry, although I would say it was the last of the black pudding on the buffet, so probably had been out for a while.

staff were friendly & location
limited space on premises for parking (6 car spots only), difficult to enter car park as we needed access for elderly travelling with us.

Location of this hotel was very convenient. Our room was nice with a partial view of the docks. The breakfast I did not care for at all. I am from America and think I am just used to a different kind of food. I am sure locals would find the food good.
I did not find the room super clean but other than that I would say this was a nice hotel in a great location.

Excellent location, valet parking was excellent, although we only had breakfast it was freshly cooked.
There was no fridge in our room ( which was a premium room which we had paid extra for. Couldn’t get a good WiFi signal, there are no sockets beside the beds ( an essential in this day and age for charging mobile phones at night ( especially when most people use their phone as an alarm )
Wood have preferred an option of plumbing tomatoes on the breakfast menu

The plug socket was too far away from the bed so couldn't put phone on charge overnight.
Also struggled putting the tele on.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. In our room we found a card and complimentary vouchers for Prosecco at the bar downstairs
Would have been nice if breakfast was included in the price as we paid over £100 for one night

Had an amazing night wast up graded room was spotless great view

The location was excellent, the room had patches painted over on the wall in a different colour to the wall, there were no glasses in the bathroom which other hotels have, not enough towels, it felt like things were “missing” from the room and attention to detail.
Disappointed in the room, the room had patches painted on the wall in a different colour to the wall, there were no glasses in the bathroom which other hotels have, not enough towels, it felt like things were “missing” from the room and attention to detail. The room key wouldn’t work in the lift, after several attempts we had to go back to reception for another key. Non Pulp Orange juice would be nice at breakfast.

Close to everything. Walking distance to the docks, restaurants, shopping and monuments.
Bathroom tile one room broken and loose. Wood floor threshold between carpet and d tile and bathroom broken in several pieces.

This hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of the main attractions and very close to the Liverpool One shopping centre. We pre-booked our car at the Q-Park at Liverpool One and this worked very well. The Hilton is a short walk away. There was a good choice at breakfast
The weather was very sunny during our stay. We had a room with a view of the Waterfront and it became very warm and stuffy despite the air conditioning being on and the curtains closed.

Couldn’t fault the location and staff
The room was so hot. Aircon set so you are only able to turn up or turn down by + or - 3 degrees. It’s also permanently set to warm. Rooms dated and need upgrades. Bathroom is so dark that anyone trying to do makeup would struggle.

Amazing location, able to walk most places and the beds are the comfiest I’ve ever slept in in a hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating from the front of house to the cleaning staff, everyone was very friendly and smiley
