Apart from little bits of maintenance works, we really enjoyed our stay.

The spacious rooms and location of the property

The fridge was way to small to accommodate food for 12 people. Specially when you have children.

Summer 2023 family getaway

The property size was brilliant for us, 4 adults and 4 children and enough rooms to suit us all. The walk to the front is only about 15 mins which is nothing really.

There were a few maintenance issues such as the kitchen bin needs a lid, the catch in the bathroom with a bath needs looking at as it was stopping the door closing, the stairs all need looking as as the children kept catching their feet on sharp tacks from the carpets so we had to put a towel down, the blind in the 2nd floor room had no pulley so it couldn't be opened, the bunk bedrooms curtains could do with being longer as they let light in and some generalised upkeep such a fresh paint in places. A few other things that would improve the property would be bins in the bedrooms and a lamp in the living room and maybe fans as it gets warm on the 2nd floor. These would all improve things but wouldn't stop us staying again.

Palatine House was very homely, a lovely big living room where we could all get together and sit comfortably. The beds were so comfortable too and the whole house was lovely and clean. And the owner couldn't have been more helpful.

We loved everything about this property. Its a little further than we wanted from the promanade but still a great location. The price was good everything was clean and tidy and very well presented. Really couldn't fault it.

Lovely big house

Beds are very comfy. Lovely and welcoming host. Very clean and warm. Plenty of space in the rooms. Shops nearby. Quiet at night and far enough away from the noisy town centre.but not too far to walk.

Only one car parking space for a house of 12. Pots, pans and cooking equipment for a large family not big enough. Just needs a few large capacity pots. Downstairs Plugs circuit kept tripping, suspect there was a dodgy unit.

a fun stay but long walks to get the car.

the property was very clean and very comfortable to stay in.

that theres no free parking outside it. if not parking outside one of our cars couldve fit the garage but the garage didn’t open so we had to park 10mins walk away.

Janet was super friendly and very respectful!!! She went out her way and helped us with everything

Location of the place was brilliant. House was clean, beds were really comfortable and Janet did more then I could ever ask someone to! Really respectful individual who takes pride in her work! Thank you so much for a great weekend Janet. We’ll definitely be back!!

It was comfortable and in a great location but the showers were a bit of a disappointment.

The beds were very comfortable and the location of the abode was great.

The shower head in one of the bathrooms was broken and there was water leaking from the shower into the kitchen. The shower in the other bathroom was also faulty as the water pressure kept changing. Also the wifi was very slow.

Clean and Comfortable

We loved the place. It was very clean, had sufficient towels for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked with basic necessities like tea, coffee, sugar etc. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was a nice place to stay with family

Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough as it was just one night. The only down side from my point of view was that it has only one parking permit however, there are other side roads where a parking permit is not required.

Spacious house ideal for group stays

Host had great communication. Spacious house, ideal for group stays. Tea, coffee and milk sachets were provided.

There was a bad smell in the kitchen despite it being very clean. I think it was coming from the garage.

One issue, I've paid 310 pound for one night so don't ask me to keep the noise down when I arrive it's Blackpool Don't rent it out if you don't want to. .

Location was perfect. House was very clean, beds were super comfy. Excellent facilities loads of space. Would most definitely stay again.

Perfect for large groups, very spacious and clean!

Very friendly and accommodating host! House was huge, photo’s don’t do it justice!! only a 10 minute taxi to city centre as well which was very convenient. Beds were very comfy, overall enjoyed the stay and would definitely use again!
