Hayley and John are lovely hosts, the room was beautiful, the breakfasts fab and loads of local information in the welcome folder in the room and from the hosts themselves. We loved our stay and will definitely be back at Glen Garth soon.

The hosts Hayley and John were really friendly and welcoming on arrival. The bedroom was lovely and spacious, and spotlessly clean.a really comfy bed with super clean bed linen. The breakfast was really well cooked and so tasty..I can honestly say it is probably the best cooked breakfast I have eaten in any guest house I have stayed in…and at 70 years of age I have stayed at a few..The Glen Garth is ideally situated for getting into the City..If you don’t fancy the walk the bus stop is right outside..There are some super eateries and shops literally just a few hundred yards away too..A total recommend..many guest house owners could learn a lot from Glen Garth..🤙🤙
The fact that we were only staying for one night..

The location was ideal for touring the city of Chester,it took fifteen to twenty minutes to reach centre walking slowly.
Breakfast was great and they were able to caterer for special diets. The King size room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. John and Hayley very friendly, knowledgable about the history of Chester and helpful, providing a booklet for places to eat and go during your stay.
Plenty of restaurants for all tastes within 5 minutes of the house.
There is not anything we didn't like about our stay except we wished it was longer.

Breakfast was perfect served by the lovely people who own the B&B
nothing to complain about it was the perfect place to stay

Breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were extremely nice and welcoming. We had a quick stay for one night on our way north so were looking for something economical. We loved the walk into Chester and streets close by for shopping. Having a parking space was very helpful. Owners are in the process of making their own upgrades after taking it over so looking forward to what's to come.
The shower in our room was a tight squeeze.

Good location, friendly welcome from the owners.
Limited parking (it kind of worked, but a bit of a faff). Bathroom a little dated. TV very small!

Hayley & John are a lovely couple. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was yummy and plenty of it. We had the family room which was nice & quiet in the night so we all slept well. It was only a 15-20 minute walk into Chester main centre so not too far at all and only a few miles from Chester Zoo. Would definitely stay again. Thank you 😁👍

Location - great for Hoole. The owners were friendly and helpful.
Couldn't control the shower water temperature, water pressure was poor, no TV remote, small TV & a room door handle locking mechanism that was hard to master.
4.7
The room was larger than I expected and very comfortable. The few things I wanted to increase my personal comfort were attended to immediately. The building was orderly and quiet. The owners - Hayley, John and Vegas - were very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was great and there was plenty. The location is wonderful, about a ten minute stroll from the station, all the shops and food places one could want are just around the corner and the buses to/from the zoo, the aquarium and Cheshire Oaks stop right outside.
It's difficult to find anything negative to say about this facility. Anyone who can't manage stairs won't manage here because there are stairs, that's about it.

We had a lovely weekend break at Glen Garth - from the moment you enter you feel welcomed into the house and immediately comfortable there. Hayley and John are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble, and they have a wealth of information about things to do in the local area should you need any advice. Breakfast was brilliant and set us up for the day, everything done how you like it and all the toast you can eat!
Chester is within easy walking distance, so once we'd parked up we didn't need to use the car all weekend. The directions to their car park were spot on too, we had no trouble finding it.
Should we find ourselves in Chester again we will definitely be stopping here!

Our room was upgraded to a lovely en-suite room with lots of space. Very comfortable and clean and close to the city centre. Also had nice bars and shops close by.

Loved the location. The welcome was great. Breakfast was Great. The parking as long as booked was good and convenient. It was clean and room was massive
The only comment we made was for us the mattress was a little soft. And for me the shower was a little high even at the lowest.

Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast and friendly owners. I am usually anxious about staying away from home but I felt very safe, calm and comfortable here. We will come again. Lots of lovely little touches like the make up wipes next to the sink. Love that. Thanks for a lovely stay.
