Very nice hotel, helpful and friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Amazing experience in a fabulous building, the seaforth restaurant were excellent!
We were disappointed when we found out that we couldn’t use the pool due higher than normal chlorine levels . The fee was reduced and we were given an alternative booking time but unfortunately we couldn’t take advantage of this as we were due to leave the hotel that day. The massage was quite short in comparison and by far the most expensive I’ve experienced.

The breakfast was lovely. Also lunch in the bar area was good although over £5 for olives????Most of the staff were very good especially Greg the concierge and the gentleman who was in charge of breakfast.
Didn’t like the rude girl behind the bar who thought her face would crack if she smiled. The way bar staff although busy did not make eye contact and communicate that recognised we were waiting. Did not like the size of our bedroom, its like half a room, did not like the drab grey interiors of the hotel… grey everywhere. On checkout receptionist did not ask if we enjoyed our stay, was everything ok? Noticed her phone stuck onto her side of the computer screen , perhaps too busy on that rather than showing hospitality to paying guests.

I loved the atrium lounge area. It was very beautiful, and the staff was very hospitable. A special call out to the porter, who went out of his way to help with a parking problem in the drenching rain. Thank you!

the build is beautiful... very big
paid for an executive room on the guise it was a bigger room with more light and leisure.
got a cheap basic room as I could in a cheap £50 a night hotel. I enquired with reception to be advised I was given an executive room. this was not like any of the pictures that made me upgrade to a "executive" room! The room we had was half the size of the pictures.
The room was smaller than a travel lodge which I paid £290 up from £220 a basic room to the executive room.
also, there was dust and dirt around the high skirting boards. the bathroom tiles around the first foot high had dirt marks and what looked like snot as you go in to the walk in shower.
I am not one to complain but I felt so let down by the desk to get "oh, I am sorry. it's a big hotel with lots of rooms and I can insure you, room 136 is an executive room" she must have meant the room, I had to let my girlfriend walk in to the bathroom, just so I could walk around my side of the bed.
just 1 last moan, the building is huge. we got told were our room is, to the left up the lift, first floor. it took us 10 minutes to find our room once we got to the first floor. although it was a fun adventure excited to see the the room... anti-climax was not the word I would use to describe it.
old saying, Don't pee on my leg, then tell me it's raining!

It’s very beautiful, modern and staff were very friendly!
Our airconditioning kept going off throughout the evening and the window couldn’t open so was hot and stuffy if we didn’t get up periodically and switch airconditioning on again

The property was just stunning and it was it an excellent location.
It was a shame that the fee to use the pool was so high and that slots were so rigid.

The staff had excellent manors .
The room and decor were amazing.
The bar staff and musicians performed to the highest standards.
I feel there could have been more stock in the tea area of the room .
1 can of still and 1 can of fizzy isn't enough for 2 guest especially if no one likes sparkling water .

Breakfast was poorly organised. There were small fruit flies on the fruit area and the bread area. We both had a cooked Liverpool full breakfast which was luke warm and not hot. There was no orange juice. We had to ask for sugar for the pot of warm (Not hot) pot of tea. We liked every other aspect of the hotel but the breakfast really was poor. Please note, this is constructive criticism as we would stay here again because of the great location and beautiful hotel. Superb reception staff and in particular, the young concierge man who helped us park our car was exceptionally polite and an assett to any business.

Beautiful hotel, Palm Court area is stunning and a lovely place to relax
The surcharge to use the pool and spa. Whist it is a superb facility, the hotel could offer a free or better discounted offer for longer stays.

I loved the room with its magnificent high ceilings and comfortable bed. What I probably loved most, though, was the Palm Court bar and lounge area, which is magnificent. I met some local friends there and it was a great place to catch up over some drinks.
Other than being next door to my favourite breakfast place in Liverpool, the Dale Street Kitchen, it felt a tiny bit further away from things I wanted to do in the city centre. It also felt a bit desolate and creepy walking back to the hotel in the evening with no one around.

Excellent location, staff were extremely helpful went above and beyond to recommend places to me and provide for me throughout my stay.
Shoutout to Greg
Nothing to note.

Hotel was beautiful . Def 5 star rating, food excellent , staff helpful. Room, despite booking an executive, was small, but adequate.
Having to pay £30 for a 2 hour swimming session was disappointing. The pool was small and Def not the supposed 30 degrees Not worth it.

Hotel restaurant could do with more options especially when it comes to vegetarian/ vegan options but besides that everything was fine.

Everyone was so sweet and welcoming, locals were absolutely lovely. Had a great 2 days with my fiancé. The hotel was amazing and the spa will come back again for sure
I let the people know I want a birthday surprise for my boyfriend but it didn’t happen, overall the stay was great

Lovely decor
Wrong charges made to room, very poor breakfast and slow service, disappointing amount of money added to simply use pool facilities.

Location was excellent. The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The breakfast was lovely.
Breakfast options were a little strange, in that you could order a vegan breakfast but not a vegetarian one. When it came the waitress said ‘you ordered it with eggs?’ I explained that I hadn’t but I was happy to have eggs! The same happened to the two people sat next to me! Obviously if I had been a vegan I would not have been happy!

The location was close to the train station and city centre.
The breakfast and service was exceptional.
5.0
Well located
Pool access not allowed for under 18 and significant additional charge 50 pounds. No room service despite mentioning 24h service on the booking. Room was on street level with pedestrians being able to see in
3.0
The location was good
The bedroom and bathroom were far too small for a supposedly 5* hotel. Breakfast especially the first morning was the worst I have ever experienced
7.0
Beautiful lobby bar area and good cocktail options. Central location and really helpful reception staff.
The hotel charges unnecessarily for things you would expect to be included. We paid £165 between us for us all to have massages and were told this would give us access to the pool, but were confronted in our swimwear about to get into the pool and told that we weren’t allowed in there unless we paid even more money. Most hotels I’ve been to have free pool access, and if not, surely paying for a treatment at the spa is enough to let you in!! We also ordered a bottle of Prosecco to the room and had to pay £10 ‘tray charge’ and then was charged £6.50 service charge on top - £16.50 charge for room service! It felt a little bit like a Ryanair flight, and not what I would expect from a premium hotel. I’d have rather paid more for the room than had to faff about with all of these extra costs.

The building is absolutely stunning. The location was great for us. Some staff were extremely helpful, especially front of house.
Room was left unlocked 2 days running, so anyone could walk in and take our belongings. Service was not great at breakfast or the bar which needs to be addressed. Towels had a distinct smell of fish which was not pleasant. Towels missing, rubbish we had throw in the bin left on the floor. Coffee, milk, bathroom additions not replaced after the first night. Not clear the pool is an additional expense and needs to be booked.

Stayed 2 nights and after first night. Staff came to clean room at 3pm while we were just back in to get ready for the night so didn’t get room cleaned….

There was no room service. Breakfast was average and some staff were not pleasant

Beautiful architecture, really nice and big room. Staff are nice and food is great.
The pool timings, and that there was no still water (only sparkling) in my room.

Everything beautifully restored, great location, clean.
The admin/reception staff post check out have been nothing short of rude and incompetent. They rang to say we had left luggage in assured them we had not but was driving so pulled over. They told me we had and someone would describe what we had left behind. I was put on hold for 32 minutes during which time we unpacked the car and suitcases roadside to be certain we had everything. Having put our mind at ease we continued our journey whilst still on hold. After 32 we were cut off. So we rang back to be told someone would describe what we had left behind we would be put on hold. After 10 minutes we were told sorry it was a mistake.
On check out I was told the receipt would be emailed, it wasn’t so on this call we confirmed email address and were told receipt would be sent, it wasn’t. The following day I rang again as multiple charges had been placed against my credit card. I confirmed email and was told it would be sent, it wasn’t. I rang to be read back an incorrect email address despite been given the correct one 3 times. The lady corrected it and emailed me twice 2 receipts both for the accomodation I had paid for in advance none for the charges taken from my card during my stay. I rang again to be told reception was busy and they would get to it as soon as they could. At the time of writing I am still awaiting and there is no explanation for the monies taken.
Great hotel, incompetent staff.

Really lovely hotel . The staff were so welcoming and attentive to your needs . Palm Court Bar is beautiful. We ate both from the bar food menu and The Seaforth Restaurant. Both were very good as was the service . Rooms are very nice . Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location too for all attractions . We will definitely be back .
There was nothing that we really disliked . Minor point is that our room was on the lower floor and whilst I am sure the windows do partly open for ventilation , at only 5ft I couldn’t reach the catch 😂 so could get too warm whenever we get a summer .
