Really good value for money

+ situated in quiet street + short walk to the centre (12min) + large room with lots of space + balcony + prompt communication with host + kept us safe during the earthquake + excellent water pressure in shower

- no chairs in balcony - dont expect the typical antigua hotel patio with hammocks or fountain

Rustige locatie!

Het is echt super rustig gelegen en dat tijdens semana santa. Op wandelafstand van het centrum.De communicaie verliep enkel online maar je kreeg heel snel antwoord en de instructies waren duidelijk. Heel propere en leuk ingekleede kamer. Grote keuken met basis benidigdheden.

Betaling gebeurt standaard via tab maar indien je contant wenst te betalen (zoals wij) kan je dit aangeven (: lijkt me niet onbelangrijk

Bastante bien

La habitación era limpia, silenciosa; el piso tenía una cocina bastante bien equipada donde poder desayunar y también comer. Pude dejar la maleta después del checkout debajo de las escaleras (en un lugar no vigilado por nadie pero la estructura era bastante segura). Buena comunicación con el propietario/administrador del piso.

La habitación no tenía aire acondicionado (sí había un ventilador) y por la noche se calentaba bastante. Por el techo pasaba la luz y por las mañanas entraba luz bastante temprano, cosa que puede molestar. Las paredes de la habitación necesitarían una nueva capa de pintura ya que estaban manchadas en varias partes. Me habría gustado más que hubiese habido una recepción con alguien presente en lugar de hablarlo todo por el móvil. No hay desayuno.

Great value for money

Nice location, good value for money, host/ manager is a helpful guy. Very prompt in solving all queries. Well equipped kitchen is a big plus.

Brilliant stay, we will stay here when in Antigua

Staff were excellent - there are no staff on the property but they respond ASAP and were always helpful. Facilities were also some of the best we’ve seen, especially for the price point - incredibly clean shared kitchen also. Price - in comparison to other hotels in Antigua, this wins for price and quality. The bedrooms are lovely, with a great view of the volcano too! Overall, we stayed here three times and would recommend this to anyone!

Les propriétaires sont très réactifs avec les messages, ils nous ont beaucoup aidé avec nos différentes questions et nous les remercions encore une fois. la procédure d'entrée était très claire et détaillée Le bâtiment est très beau, un beau salon partagé, la cuisine est complète, propre et avec des ustensiles neufs et en bon état, ça change de ce qu'on a pu avoir ailleurs! La vaisselle est belle avec des sets complets. Eau potable gratuite à disposition et petits en-cas et boissons pour quelques Quetzales. La chambre était conforme aux photos, avec une grande fenêtre qui donne sur un petit patio quasi pas utilisé, des lumières de chevet, etc. Teresa était au petit soin avec nous pour le ménage de la chambre. Le bémol, commun à tous les logements que nous avons rencontré est l'humidité de la salle de bain, malheureusement pas grand chose à faire là-dessus. Nous recommandons fortement

En realidad la casa y precio , me pareció muy bien , me preocupe un poco por la distancia del centro pero todo muy bien

Comfortable and cosy - definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here and would’ve returned if there had been availability! The rooms were comfortable and clean, they had lovely common areas and a huge kitchen, as well as a smaller kitchen in our room. We felt very safe here too.

The hostel is about a 15 minute walk from the town centre, which we didn’t mind at all!

Estadia tranquila y segura.

Excelente alojamiento, tranquilo y seguro. Nos alojamos en la habitación #4 todo muy lindo, amplio y limpio. En la cocina habian snacks y bebidas que puedes adquirir por un excelente precio.Todo super bien, volveremos!

En lo personal solo agregaria un espejo en la habitación ya que unicamente se tiene uno en el baño.

Me gusta la independencia y seguridad que tienen los huéspedes. Aunque los propietarios no están en el local, siempre están atentos a las necesidades de los huéspedes

Good stay in artifical colonial house

Nice old colonial house, located in a really quiet area but a little bit clairaudient. Room was big and had enough space for everything.

Kitchen could be better equiptet. Bed was a little bit too hard. Dining table was missing.

Superb

The room was very spacious and bright. The hosts offered to have our rooms cleaned each day.

The kitchen knives were very dull, which made cooking difficult. I would also recommend including a dining room table so that more guests can feel comfortable eating and preparing food.

Outstanding value for money!

One of the best equipped and clean kitchens that we have used in Central America. The room was great and the shower especially was very good compared to what we’d became accustomed to. The property has no reception staff but the gentleman we dealt with via WhatsApp to get the code for the door etc replied almost instantly when we had any other queries. 10 min walk from the main square.

Superb

We stayed a few nights in the house and it was perfect. I loved the fact that we could feel at ease and cook in the kitchen. The house is in walking distance from the center of Antigua and still very calm. The house is run without 24h staff, but Alejandro was available at all times via Whatsapp and is super helpful and kind. Teresa came in every day to do the cleaning and take care of the house. It was a really nice stay in Antigua!

Clean, relaxing stay

My friend and I stayed there for one night. Great location a little outside the main part of Antigua. Incredibly safe. The walk to the city center was like 12 minutes so seriously not a big deal and it was like 5 minutes from La Sala bar/club. We had 2 bed. My friend is pretty tall and took the bigger bed. It was quite comfortable after having slept in a hut in Acatenango. They had towels, toiletries, and a really great shower. The water pressure was excellent. The room was in a house with multiple other rooms. Very quiet at night to the point where when we came back from the club, we worried about making too much noise. Check out was at 10 which is a bit early and we didn't have a shuttle until 3-4PM. The owners were very responsive and allowed us to leave our bags in the living room while we ate breakfast. We came back and waited for our shuttle until then. We didn't cook there, but the kitchen looked great. I highly recommend this place!

Nice clean and comfy place to stay

I love the security of the place and how convenient it was to check-in. Our room was spacious and clean. We loved the homey feeling it had. We only spent a night here, but it was a really nice stay. Nice warm shower and the blanket was super soft,, that is a plus in my books.

The thin walls😅 you could hear everything from someone cooking to walking up the stairs...but then again we were super tired so eventually just blocked it out...we had busy people that night😅 it is a bit further from everything but I think that is why I like it....so not a negative thing but just a FYI for people.

room was beautiful, we had a view of the volcano, water and toilet paper provided, kitchen was extremely well equipped, quiet, cute, very fast response time from staff, extremely affordable
