Check in was fine, luggage stored. No information given about the hotel.
Room very small but ample. Cleanliness of room was poor. Bedside lamps covered in visible dust, bathroom floor tiles cracked, grout missing, shower screen mouldy,
We when returned around midnight, nice to see security on the door. When we got to our room we had no running water, phoned reception to be told they would reset the pump again. Then we noticed our sink didn’t drain either.
Overall disappointed with our stay in reflection to the cost.

Excellent. Great location, great room with plenty of space, tea and coffee etc and soaps and towels in a good size bathroom. Bar was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent.

Two-night stay, beautiful room, my only criticism would be it was a bit dimly lit, no bright mirror for applying makeup! Bed large and extremely comfortable. Bar areas very nice, lots of Beatles-related photographs. Would recommend to any Beatles fans - very close to The Cavern etc, literally next door!

Great service, beautiful hotel, huge bed. Only faults were a dirty plug hole, and the lights control panels are very finicky.

We usually use travelodge but thought we would treat ourselves we should of stayed with travelodge and saved the extra £130 it cost to stay here it started well we left our luggage in the morning and we returned to check-in the bags had been taken to our room by a fantastic guy who was helpful funny and chatty i didn't catch his name but I would describe him as what you would expect Ricky Tomlinsons brother to look like. The lobby, bar and stairwells are awesome, but when we got to our room, what a disappointment. The room 121 was small and once we opened the curtains found frosted out windows which you could not open. The curtains stayed closed leaving you with no natural light, never mind a view. The tv was on an extending bracket which meant you banged into it when you got up from the bed. Overall the room looked tired. The biggest disappointment was the services. The bar which was a beautiful place to sit called last orders at 10.15, and then closed at 10.30, moving people to finish their drinks in the lobby. We found this poor, you get better than that at Travel Lodge who stay open till you've finished drinking. We didn't want all night drinking but 11.30 would have been more reasonable. The next morning we tried to get a coffee from the coffee shop in the lobby but were told it didn't open until 12 midday. We looked for a bin to get rid of a takeaway bag (all sealed and clean) the man off reception took it off us as if it was a dirty nappy. Which we found rude.

Our stay was great from checking in to checking out(which was done online) therefore avoiding queues. The staff were very professional, polite and very informative. The room was great too, it was very clean and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable but unfortunately it creaked, and the creaking of the bed is the only thing I can fault it on. We have stayed at Hard Days Night before and will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this hotel as it is in a prime location. Ideal for shopping, theatre, museum's, restaurants, bars ( the world famous Cavern Club is literally just around the corner ) a great choice of tours for Beatle fans and of course a ferry cruise on the Mersey is a must.

Great base for a Beatles-focused family trip to Liverpool. Just round the corner from the Cavern and easy access to other landmarks and the waterfront.

The hotel is perfectly placed for Beatles fans to visit Liverpool’s iconic locations. It is well appointed, and the staff are a pleasure to deal with. The bar has real atmosphere, particularly during happy hour. Highly recommended.

The staff were really great and their service outweighed the noise from nearby bars/music venues/etc that affected my sleep. Maybe get triple glazing installed or some other remedy to help with noise reduction?

I don’t usually complained the reason why I just didn’t asked for alternative room, but can’t understand why we were given a wheelchair access room, it’s hurting our back to use the sink when brushing our teeth.
