Owner friendly and communicated well.
Easy to get keys.
Quiet Location. On the outskirts of Antigua. Short tuktuk/uber ride to the main attractions in the city.
Clean room
Room/bathroom fine but a bit smaller than expected.

We really loved this place and ended up extending our stay!
We stayed in the king’s bedroom which was super comfortable, large, quiet and with beautiful decoration and calming vibes. The hosts and the other guests in the house were super friendly and the neighbourhood was lovely. The large shared kitchen was very convenient and the house has plenty of space to relax and enjoy your stay. we would definitely stay here again!

I loved the boho/Moroccan style around the house
And I loved the coziness of my room and spectacular views of the volcano from the balcony.

Especially the King size room on the upper floor was amazing with view to the volcano. Helpful and friendly manager. Definitely coming back next time in Antigua. Probably already next month.

we stayed in the king room and it was one of the most incredible places we’ve ever stayed. from the bed you see a volcano. the bathroom and bath were heavenly.. we actually asked to stay longer but it wasn’t available. could have stayed at Baraka for a lot longer !!! it felt like a home.
absolutely nothing

The house is very eclectic and beautiful, and the hosts most welcoming and helpful!

the home itself is beautiful, truly an oasis in the middle of Antigua. the master bedroom is diving & the soaking tub?! everything. hot water always to be found, amazing views, & the most comfortable bed.
getting to & from this property was a bit of a nightmare. several streets are non existent or closed off making this place almost impossible to walk to & from if you didn’t want to take the main highway road - going from 15 to about 35 min of a walk. google maps hasn’t corrected this error & it was problematic for uber & tuk tuk drivers, as well.
it should be noted that not all bedrooms have doors. the master king had only just a curtain & some swinging bamboo shutters that didn’t completely cover the frame. there is still ample privacy in the room itself, but in terms of noise reduction you are able to hear others moving about in & around the space or are self conscious of the noise coming from your own room. my daughter had a bit of a coughing fit in the middle of the night & i felt horrible wondering if we were disturbing others’ rest. i think this could easily be fixed by placing a thicker curtain in place of the thin one currently there if a door might take away from the aesthetic.

The location was great! It's a grand old house, and perfect for people who are into spirituality. There are many corners in the house where you can rest and think.
You have to learn to get along with other guests. The peaceful location comes with the price of being away from downtown Antigua. You need transportation

LOVED THE BEDROOMS upstairs, the red light yoga room, the sunrise spot, the water system (yes an amazing water filter system in an Airbnb) loved the organics and recycling system, all of the books. the staff are SO SO SO NICE and the little touches like candles, roses and the community vibe is great. I found it was very easy to be in peace, walk into nature and it was the perfect distance from the center to have
peace.
was there on a dental trip and the space was an inspirational healing oasis :)
the temezcal didn’t get hot for me, and I wasn’t offered a refund on the experience (lol) and the first night I stayed downstairs and the walls were paper thin and could hardly sleep (but I’m also a very light sleeper.)

this house is for people who want to stay quiet, out of the bussy centre, it’s just next to a beautiful park. the cat is sweet. there was space even 31st December last minute booking!
the house has a dark and cold and lonely feel. and not enough lights in the room. it’s located in a residential area, half hour walk to town, partly on a huge road, not a pleasant walk.
the amount that was taken-of my cc card was almost double as it seemed while booking!

It’s a big and beautiful house with cute garden and roof terrace. Nancy was very nice
The room we had was too small for a double bed, we didn’t even have space to put our bags in the room. Also there was no door and not even a curtain to close the bathroom and toilets
But the other rooms in the house looked good. Also a small locker on the room’s door would have been appreciated, even if we didn’t have any problem.

We stayed here after arriving in Guatemala city. The host arranged us a private transfer from the airport to the accomodation for a correct price. The room is cosy and has an ensuite bathroom just nextdoor (with hot water!), shared with one other bedroom.
It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood, 20min walk to the city center. When it’s getting dark, it’s better to take an Uber, it only costs 2€.
There’s a rooftop terrace with a nice view over the volcanos and mountains.
The host is very friendly and helped us where needed.
If you don’t want to be in the busy center, then this is definitely the place where you should stay.
It’s quite dark in the bedroom so an extra light could be nice.

Beautiful setting, outside the noise and business of the city. Very peaceful and beautiful. I was able to fully rest and recharge after a very long journey of travel. This is a home, and I felt very welcomed into the home, it felt very comforting.

View, garden, bathroom hot water, design......rooftop is just amazing
No proper rooms' doors, interesting concept but limited privacy.
Far from the town. Difficult to find it if you do not have uber. It will be great if the entire house is rent by one group of friends.

It was unique place to stay, I love it and I definitely recommend this place to feel like home
