Ginza Good

This is a great place to stay for a couple of nights. Short 6min walk to Shimbashi station. We stayed in room 705, it wraps around the back of the building and didn't have a great view. Perhaps the higher numbers in each level will have better street view. Bathroom sink and toilet were very yellowed. No extraction fan in bathroom. Fantastic supplies including travel adapter, razor and gel, toothbrush and paste, face cleaner, washing cloth, shoe brushes and polish, pajama smock and slippers. No body lotion but loads of decent quality wash, shampoo and conditioner. The jug/kettle was a difficult to use nightmare, but we got there 😅 Lovely staff, be sure to pay the gorgeous lounge on reception level a visit for delicious free iced coffee, tea and soft drinks. Thank you Ginza Grand team 😊

A nice property in the heart of Ginza

Good location and nice room. The free drink dispenser in the lounge is a nice amenity.

The breakfast buffet which is highly touted by the hotel is underwhelming and expensive. Also avoid the hot corn flavored drink in the free drink dispenser in the lounge.

Great place if you want to discover Teamlabs, Tokyo Tower, the Fisarket and many other places

Ginza is a great location and this hotel us a great place to see a lot of the interesting sights. The hotel room is not large, but for Japanese/Tokyo standards still on the larger side.

Bathroom was not what I expected. Says it’s separate from the shower but was combined. Bathroom lighting was yellow. Likely won’t book again.

Great Hotel, Great Price, Great Location!

I read reviews saying the Ginza Grand was looking a little old and tired. The 1st floor entrance (not the lobby), is uninviting and needs renovation but the actual lobby on the 2nd floor was fine (clean, modern and updated). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Checkin / checkout was smooth. The Double Room (non-smoking) was clean, smoke free, spacious (for Tokyo), comfortable (including the bed) nicely appointent and quiet. The hotel location is fantastic (right in Ginza, one of the best parts of Tokyo) and close to Shimbashi Station. Given all this, the price is also great value. I really enjoyed my stay and will stay again.

Entrance on first floor (not the second floor lobby) needs a renovation.

Breakfast options were good, as was the hotel location. The window can be opened just a bit for ventilation, which is a plus

Disappointed - not what we expected based on other reviews and the hotel website. Not a good choice or value for leisure traveller or first visit to Japan- very small and very dated rooms.

From the incident that occured. This is one of the worst hotel experiences ever.

Good location. It's only a couple of minutes from the train station. The room is clean.

One staff in particular is very unfriendly/rude and has no service mind. The majority of the staff that I encountered has some language barrier (english) but tries to communicate to a level.
