VOGELENZANG AT OKAREKA THE LAKE AND BOAT RAMP DIRECTLY ACROSS THE ROAD
Esta propiedad ha estado en la misma familia durante solo 50 años, ¡así que hay mucha historia aquí! La tradición familiar casi dictaba que los hijos debían seguir los pasos de papá y ser constructores. Utilizando esta experiencia, y puedo asegurarle que el trabajo es magistral, acaban de completar una importante actualización y renovación de la casa. Las imágenes cuentan la historia. No se han escatimado gastos y la casa está preparada para que las familias disfruten de una estadía con una excelente vista del lago Okareka, la rampa para botes a pocos metros de distancia y el lugar de la boda de Longford Farm a solo unos kilómetros a lo largo del camino. ¡El nombre tradicional VOGELENZANG en holandés significa Birdsong!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location and the new kitchen, bathrooms etc were excellent. Can see that it is a well loved family location, we hope to return again next year. The boats in storage looked superb, used to race a Paper Tiger years ago, next year will be bring paddleboards down and model yachts.
Great location for mountain biking and exploring the area. Thank you.

If you're out to use the boat ramp, you couldn't ask for a better spot. Great house with plenty of space and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

Great homely holiday house with everything you could need. Great amenities and beautiful location right across from the lake. The only warning i would give parents with young ones is becareful of the glass doors. We had 3 little ones run straight in to them and hurt themselves because there is no safety stickers on them and they are super clear. I'd recommend this place for a nice family getaway.

One room, two centuries
Can't fault the location, but the house was strange. Partially renovated but the living/dining was still original and not in a good way. It was very dark and not very welcoming. Would probably stay again though just because of the location.

This house has the most amazing view and if you want to get away for some R & R, it's the perfect spot. The kitchen and two bathrooms are designed for a large group and work very well. Our only difficulty was not having a phone number to ring while we were there. The air conditioner was difficult to work and it would have helped to be able to ask someone about it.

The property is located right across the lake and jetty, it couldn't be more convenient. The renovated kitchen and baths are great. Nice porch and outdoor area.

Excellent location across the road from the boat ramp. Older house but nice modern kitchen and bathrooms. Rubbish bin and recycling hadn't been put out for some time but overall a very pleasant stay. Host good to deal with.

We had a great stay. The location is beautiful, so quiet and you basically have the whole lake to yourself.
The house feels so homely and with the configuration of the beds it’s really comfortable for families.

Lovely spot
We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed and a beautiful view as well! Loved having my morning coffee looking out over the lake. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds.
