The edgewater escape is a beautiful place to get away from city life and take some time to relax. The neighborhood was nice and quiet so there were no disturbances. The lake is right in your backyard so you can take a dip and not have to leave the house. The shopping center is only a few minutes away and there are plenty of places to visit and explore. My have was the Secret Spot Hot Tubs. Overall a great experience and perfect place escape.

This is our second time here at this bouse, and it was great again. This is an awesome house. The dishwasher broke down while we were there. I contacted the property manager who promptly got someone out to look at it. Turns out to be a fault within the appliance which could not be fixed quickly but at least it was looked into quickly.

We had an awesome time. The location on the lake front is amazing, so good to be able to walk to the back to the lake front with it's own little pier. The house is well set up, with comfortable beds and nice towels and sheets. We will definitely look them up again next time we are in town.

A lovely place to relax and spend time with family. We only took food. The adults and children both had alot of fun out on the kayaks (water fights in the drizzling rain). We visited the Mini Putt with Rabbits, the children and adults had great fun. It was raining or drizzly for the last 2 days, so played games we found and ate lots (had alot of laughs). A lovely place by the lake (very shallow for children) to have a quiet break away, or spend time with friends.

This property is well equipped and has a wonderful view. Kids loved to use the kayaks. Overall brilliant!

Easy, great service. Only 2 things we found hard was heating in bedrooms needs some work as they we'recold in Winter & traffic out to Ngongotaha around 5pm was really busy.

This is a beautifully renovated bach, with a stunning view. The house is well equipped with comfortable beds and a good shower. Cosy fireplace, wifi and smart TV were a bonus. The boys even braved the kayaks on a chilly winter morning. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

We had an awesome time here. Kristin was a pleasure to deal with and the house was immaculate. Such a nice location right on the water and only a short drive to the city and about 40min to Tauranga too. Looking forward to going back.

Everything is there that you need and well organised. Loved the sunny deck in the mornings (but watch the bugs after dark!) Communication was excellent. Highly recommed this place.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely and clean and the beds were all very comfortable. The boys all kayaked everyday and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the mornings and evening. We also enjoyed being close to the lake walkway. The lake views were great. It is a very peaceful and quiet spot - a great place to really unwind. The property manager, was also wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. We would love to come back again.

We spent a great couple of days here. It's soo quiet and the view from the back yard is beautiful, it's a shame the gardens haven't been upkept as this would just add to the stunning views. The kayaks were great fun and the water is nice and shallow so would be good for families with younger children. The air-conditioning kept the house nice and comfortable on hot summer days. We were a bit disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the property, quite a few cobwebs around, a few dishes that hadn't been washed properly, bathroom sink didn't look like it had been cleaned and the soap dispenser was broken. I guess with the decent cleaning fee we paid we were expecting it to be rather well kept. The broken sound bar for the T.V was just laying on the ground behind the couch. Something also knocked over and pulled rubbish bags out of the wheelie bin over the front yard that we had to pick up. You have to go through the bathroom to get to the toilet too so this could annoying for bigger groups when people are showering you can't get to the toilet without going into the bathroom. Those few things aside we had a great time away and enjoyed our stay.
