It is my family’s favoritemotel in Rotorua.

My first experience of a motel and I was pleasantly surprised! Super friendly host, nice rooms (we booked one with a natural hot tub) and good location. The property is older but clearly well-loved. Cleaning was pretty good - some areas missed like the under side of taps but I am notoriously fussy. The host/ owner couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful and we felt right at home. I’m very glad we chose to stay here. Thank you!

A rather outdated and run down motel. Bad with chairs around the small pool and the spa baths are really worn and not particularly inviting. The room had an unpleasant smell.

Sport of Kings is a lovely place for a short stay. Very clean & comfortably furnished. Good quality lbedding with very comfortable mattress. A nice bistro in a 10 minute walk if you don’t have a car. Classic old style motel hosted by lovely people with true hospitality.

The Manager was extremely helpful and ready to answer questions. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable at an affordable price. I would definitely recommend these accommodations to others.

Everything was great about our stay at Kings of Sport Motel. The only downfall was that there was no air conditioner in the room. Otherwise everything else was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt really comfortable.

The reception lady was so nice. Comfy and clean room. We had the room with a hot tub. Our son loved it! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a 1 bedroom with private spa. Private spa was so enjoyable to have. Cute little playground with a swing & slide for our toddler. Clean & tidy :)

Disappointing!! Not like the pictures you see on Expedia. We had high hopes for this place but it was not great. The hottub was the selling point for us but it was so disgusting and dirty with things floating in it we did not even attempt to go in. We also rewashed all the dishes as they were not clean. The cutains were snagged, old, tacky and see through - blackout curtains in the bedroom for sleeping would have been nice.

The motel is located in a quiet street only a short drive from the main shops, cafes, and restaurants.
The staff were welcoming and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately the rooms are very dated with obvious water damage on the ceiling, mould in the shower, and general wear on the faucets.

Very minor bits that could be improved.
The bathroom and toilets were clean with all required stuff.
The pool and spa facilities were great and were not even crowded and we had good time my son loved that quite a lot.
The shower head in the bathroom can be given a scrub.
Bed was springy but did not feel uncomfortable in the mornings so was ok on that front.
May be a small tetra pack of milk would be good to keep in the fridge.

Loved the spa in the room. Private. Perfect place to just chill and relax and everything is close by for shopping and entertainment.

Excellent service. Bonus having a spa pool in the room & a outdoor heated pool for the kids. Staff very helpful with tips and information for places to visit in rotorua. Would recommend for families. Very clean & perfect location for cheap Uber rides to skyline & city if you have no car rental. I would definitely come back here.
