Ballina Manor was okay but needs some update to its overall condition. Was a bit disappointed that there was no temperature control in the room as it was rather stuffy in there. In summary, nice but could improve. Hotel staff was okay. Not rude, but definitely not excellent service

If you need to stay in the center of Ballina.. this is your hotel...walkable from the train station.
Staff are so friendly,helpful and professional.Check in was easy. Rooms are clean and cozy. The only thing I would say is that there is no Air-conditioning so room was warm.
Breakfast included was excellent offering a true Irish Breakfast
Overall, i world highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The hotel is located in the heart of Ballina; near shopping, restaurants and pubs. There is a traditional charm and warmth about it. The staff was so accommodating, we would definitely stay again.

This is not a 4* hotel. Instead, it’s an adequate 3* hotel with pleasant staff and good river views. Rooms are beige and in need of updating.
Rude bar staff were unable to produce a hot drink on the grounds that “all the machines have been turned off” - not even vaguely acceptable.
Overall, it’s ok if you’re expecting a 3* product.

Always choose Ballina Manor. Friendly staff throughout, in particular Keira on Reception. Delicious food in restaurant and Irish fry yummy.

Hotel was very helpful and understanding as my flight was delayed by 4 hours, so I arrived after opening hours.
The night porter was fantastic in getting myself checked in after a long day of travelling.

Property is dated and chairs etc in room were falling apart. Hotel needs a refurbishment to bring it back to glory as dated and not nice when chairs are falling apart.

The handles on the doors In the public areas need a very good polishing. I have stayed many times at that hotel and the door handles in the public areas ie the bedrooms quarters’ fire doors have never been cleaned.

Needs a major revamp , literally everything is dated , room was full of cobwebs , windows had flaky paint , non working WiFi , breakfast was all dried up , didn’t bother with the breakfast on the second morning due to how bad it was , one positive was that the bed was really comfortable

Badly managed hotel . Food poor. Brackfast not freshly cooked, reheated.
Hotel damp and wallpaper coming off wall in places. Room not cleaned properly. Dirty coffe cup. Under ground parking limited and poorly marked. This Hotel is meant to be four star .No way I would give it two .star.

Really good lunch on Monday, lovely black haired waitress/supervisor was really so good, friendly and efficient. She deserves a pay rise Upstairs staff always friendly and saying hello. Internet service was very poor and unreliable. Although location of hotel was good, the rooms, halls and other facilities are very old and aging. Need major work! I couldn't reach front desk from room as phone wasn't working. I do not recommend it. I was very surprised as the hotel looked good from website.
