Family Tides - Oceanfront and Bay Views 2Br/2Ba Condo
Au 16ème étage du carrousel, cette unité offre des panoramas incroyables sur la baie et l'océan. C’est l’une des unités les plus convoitées du carrousel avec sa chambre principale située au bord de l’océan. Cela permet un grand balcon face à l'océan ainsi qu'un grand balcon réservé au bord de la baie. Le condo est bien entretenu et propre comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos. Le carrousel est l’une des escapades les plus populaires de la ville océanique en raison de ses équipements incroyables. Patinez devant la patinoire couverte, nagez dans les piscines intérieure ou extérieure, détendez-vous dans le bain à remous ou le sauna, visitez le restaurant ou prenez un verre au bar. Tout est là au carrousel. C'est un endroit incroyable pour les enfants et un endroit fantastique pour les gens de tous les âges. Nice Condo. Enjoyed that it was fully furnished. Both balconies were great for seeing sunrise and sunset. It does need some light maintenance. Cupboards that don't close, paint, and cleaning

My husband has never been to OC, MD so I booked this stay. The condo is spacious and does have great views of the bay and ocean but the hotel roof of the Carousel is what you see when on the balcony, and then the ocean. The Carousel Resort Hotel and Condo is extremely packed and busy. You cannot get a chair at the pool because there are just too many people there. They do have an outdoor restaurant and bar which was decent. If you do not get your towel on the beach and set up before 6:30 AM you will be rows back and away from the Ocean. We were very disappointed that this property was not more quiet, secluded and upscale for the money we paid for the week. The property manager was very responsive to the issues we experienced. We could barely open the sliding doors due to the salt air perhaps, and the front door literally had to be “kicked/forcefully opened” each time we entered. If you love the Jersey shore, then you will love this area/property. We didn’t expect to drive 4.5 hours to get the Jersey shore experience that we get within 1 hour of driving. Lesson learned.

We had a wonderful stay at Family Tides! We did the boardwalk, went to the beach almost everyday, had smores, watched fireworks, had great drinks and food on the property, listened to fun music. It was a pretty magical week. The beds were comfortable, the condo had everything we needed (could use additional silverware), great cookware, plenty of fridge space. There is nothing I'd change about the stay - it was a perfect vacation! We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young kids under 7) and the space was perfect for us! We hope others have as much fun as we did!

Perfect place for a quick family getaway. The views were amazing and the building had more than enough things for the kids to do indoors on the day it rained. Would definitely come back!

The condo was great. Very comfortable. All appliances and TV's worked and everything was very clean. Games and puzzles were available along with extra blankets and pillows.

Vacation started off with not being able to control the air conditioning. It was password protected and I had to message the manager to make adjustments. So we were very cold for most of the first night. I have never experienced this in a rental on Vrbo. Very disappointing.
I know the answer is going to be “we can’t control the common areas” but…it was bike week and all the bikes were lined right up at the front door while I had to struggle to get my handicapped mother into the front door. There are condo associations that should put a stop to this. Not the owners fault but really made my stay difficult.
While the place needed a good cleaning i will say the views were nice and the kitchen well equipped.
Needless to say I would not return to this facility as it was a disappointing stay. With the most annoying being the fact I needed permission to adjust the temp of the unit.

Overall we were very pleased with the condo and it's location. Right on the beach with spectacular views of both the ocean and the bay. The condo had almost anything you can think of. The only thing we needed were some closures for chips (chip clips). Most of our time was spent on the beach or on one of the decks. It was wonderful and we are thankful we had lovely weather. Thank you to our host for allowing us to stay in their lovely condo.

1607 was the perfect location for our family vacation. Opening the curtains to the beach was just what we needed upon arrival.
Having so much variety of activities and places to eat and explore made this so convenient and enjoyable!

The unit was great and the location was excellent. The grandchildren enjoyed the pools and play area. The only complaint I have is when the mass exudos occurs at the end of the week, it’s impossible to secure a trolley for luggage etc., we had to make 3 trips up and down the elevator to load our car (took about an hour +). This is not the fault of the owner but future guests should be aware.

We travel extensively but this is my first experience with VRBO. As a retired building contractor I made many observations.
While the building is very good, the unit is in need of repair. Too many things to mention.

I can't say enough about how wonderful everything has been from the beginning and booking to all of the wonderful communication to the cleanliness and beauty of the condo. The staff was impeccable so nice so warming so inviting. 100 out of 10 is my rating on this rental. Will definitely definitely use this condo in the future for any other stays in Ocean City.

Enjoyed a long weekend with my family at this location. Our three kids stayed in the 2nd bedroom, which was fine for the length of our stay. Beautiful views from both balconies. Fantastic to be right on the beach. Very helpful to have nice laundry appliances in the condo. Kids tried ice skating for the first time! And did I mention that view?!

The condo was great......location / amenities / cleanliness - everything. This was a girls trip....there were 4 of us (ages 48-52) and there was more than enough room for all of us. An absolutely beautiful condo. We already booked our stay for next year!!

My friend and I wanted a girls getaway and this was such a wonderful place to stay. The pictures didnt do it justice. the condo was so clean and the view from the balcony was amazing. Wish it wasnt so windy but we still loved it :) The beds were comfy and we felt at home here. We loved our stay so much we are both looking at planning another trip with each other and our families. There is a lot to do just in the hotel so you really dont have to leave if you dont want to.
I want to give a extra special thank you because my friend left a bag behind and we didnt realize until we got home but right away they checked and found the bag and are shipping it to her. I cant thank you all enough.
Definitely recommend and can not wait to come back and stay.

Loved spending the weekend with my family at this condo! Woke up to pink skies and a beautiful sunrise from my bed! Took a quick elevator ride downstairs for some Starbucks coffee and enjoyed a brisk March walk on the beach.

I have stayed at the Carrousel many times before. This place is the best unit so far. It is beautiful, spacious and close to many restaurants. Wonderful to just watch the ocean and sunrises from the large balcony.

The Carousel always intrigued me so glad we finally got to stay here. Check in was fairly simple going to security office. They didn’t have an envelope for us with keys/info but a quick, simple phone call and all was good. The room was as described, clean and nice amount of room. Loved being ocean front, hearing the sound of the waves. Hotel staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Communicated with owner and quick responses. Would definitely stay here again and in this unit!

We had a great time location was perfect we could walk everywhere we wanted to go it was very convenient the balconies were awesome we spent so much time out there even our friends who stayed in another room in the building always came to ours to hang out because the balcony was great. I highly recommend to anyone .

Summer Vacation
My husband, myself and our 3 kids (11,8,6) had an amazing week at this condo. The condo was clean, well maintained and well supplied with various kitchen needs. One of my favorite things was the amazing views from both balconies, absolutely gorgeous. Owners were attentive and had quick responses to any questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property
This unit is well kept and had many of the small things I place to make us feel right at home. If you’ve been to Carousel then you know the WiFi isn’t great and it would have helped to use the Wi-Fi for the unit but it wasn’t the worst thing. We’ve been to the location for the last 7-8 years and this was the best unit we’ve rented by far. We’re definitely booking again for next year!!!

Nice combination of amenities considering we stayed the last weekend in April. Outdoor pool and decks not really open.

3rd visit to condo
I've stayed at the Carousel multiple times, and this is my favorite condo. The view is great from both sides. The outside furniture has been updated since the pictures were taken, and it's wonderful! The inside is clean, spacious and has everything we needed. I can't wait to return!

Perfect location
The host was very nice and responsive. The Condo was clean, and very cozy for myself, husband and 3 kids for spring break. It included everything needed to cook. It felt like a smaller home away from home. The oceanfront view was beautiful and the private view was nice also. I would definitely suggest to stay and would even stay again when I visit Ocean City!!

Phenomenal views!
The views of the bay and the ocean are the greatest attraction in this condo. My husband and I had a great time. Well located. Has the basics covered (linens, dishes. kitchen utensils. Etc). A bit dusty in the bathrooms but nothing major. The building offers a sauna and a gym, although a bit outdated but works. In general it was a good experience and we will come back.
