Although it’s in the heart of he city, it felt like staying in a botanical garden. surrounded by so many trees and an exceptionally maintained garden. Everything about this place was peacefully beautiful.

Ronak at front desk was brilliant - while I was at work, he took care of the checkin… was my daughter’s birthday, so she was surprised to find a room full of balloons and a cake ! What a surprise ! Then we went for dinner at Blue Ginger - which was fabulous and they also got a small cake for her !!
Requested my teenage daughter to proceed for breakfast & clearly there were lot of guests - issue is that the lady managing the table etc ignored my daughters request to find a table.. when I reached she had plate of fruits but no table; when I spoke to the lady (clearly she was overwhelmed with the morning guest flow), didn’t know what tables were available. I pointed out a table for two right behind her which was available…. Would have loved had the lady at Machan shown interest a bit more esp towards a guest who is not an adult .. but a guest none the less. Guest can’t be walking around looking for a table… it’s not a food court

The Staff. The duty manager Ms. Varsha deserves a special mention along with Mr. Aju who was doing the bar service in the Lambhorgini event that I had come to attend.
The toilets and the plumbing needs urgent attention. The water pressure in the health faucet and the shower were very poor. The hand shower’s holder was broken and therefore I couldn’t set it to the desired height.
The Air Conditioner was also substandard. Couldn’t sleep well because of the malfunctioning Air Conditioner.
I know that it is a very old property. However, they are charging NEW PRICES and therefore must update their facilities.

The Staff were very Rude , they were not helpful at all , no respect towards the guests.

This property is one of the most beautiful properties I've stayed in. The heritage building and the greenery was amazing. The kids loved playing with the rabbits and meeting the ducks. The staff was amazing and we had the most lovely stay.

Service was excellent. They called a doctory when my daughter got sick, and brought him right to us. they were very professional and helpful. The food at the breakfast bar was superior.

Location and greenery
1. Staff was very inattentive. At breakfast the pancake was half cooked. We asked for a dosa and masala chai and it never ended up coming after having waited for 20 minutes. Very disappointing.
2. The room was horrible for the price we paid especially if you compare it to other Taj properties and comparable hotels like Leela. The shower did not work properly and there was a bad odor. Even though we asked to speak to the duty manager nobody came to help solve our issues. They seemed very disinterested.

We had a lovely stay the Taj West End. We stayed with a 2yo and 6mo. The grounds of the Taj are a tropical oasis inside Bengaluru. The swimming pools were amazing. The staff were caring and attentive and made us feel most welcome. Notable mention to Sweta Rai, Harsh, Naveem, Venkatesh, R Mohan and Sneha. Location is excellent, well serviced by Uber. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely return.
When we first arrived I was a bit underwhelmed - we were placed in a bit of a run down room. The room smelt damp, musty and mouldy, triggering allergies. The tiles in the bathroom were lifting off the wall, and there was extensive mould in the bathroom. The room adjacent was undergoing renovations, which we had to contact reception to get them to stop at around 7:30pm. We asked about a room change, and were moved the following day to a delightful room, which made our stay much more pleasant. I was disappointed to have to have been placed in the initial room, it was far below what I would expect at this price point, and the reputation of the Taj. Airport transfer was twice the price of scheduling an Uber XL, but was convenient.
