Great Ambience, great staff and superb location.
There was a lot of interior work happening on the floor I stayed. So was noisy . The staff did inform me about the situation. Hopefully next time I will have a better experience.

We love the style , the grounds and facilities . The staff were so helpful . We felt welcomed the minute we came through the security gate. And it followed onto reception , concierge , housekeeping, restaurant .

Buffet breakfast was very enjoyable a wide selection of food and good service.
I went there as a nostalgia trip, and while it was a good trip it was somewhat diminished by the hotel's appearance and how dirty it has become! I put it down to; it must be new management, and the place is going backwards!
The exterior of the hotel doesn't match its advertising; "Elegance from imposing white exterior" Let me tell you it's not so elegant looking at the moment. The whole exterior requires a power wash.
The entire exterior of the once elegant white building is very filthy, the awnings look like they come from a demolition site. Trying to look out my window (I can hardly see) over the pool, the window is filthy, and the whole exterior and the balconies below are filthy. What is the place coming to? It's like the hotel is preparing to go into receivership. Is it?
On day 2, I was sent a request for feedback, I told them about how dirty the hotel and my widow was. No response, and no window cleaning. I daresay this will be the same and not read or acted upon...

The hotel is a class by itself …and to add beauty to the property are the smiling and helping staff…Shreya at the front desk was very pleasing and helpful to name a few…

Hotel is located at a stone's throw from the power center of Bangalore, i.e. Chief Minister's official residence on the Golf Course Road, and affords expansive green view of the tree cover in the area. The room had a huge balcony overlooking the Windsor bridge, the pool and view of the road in front. The room was big enough, bed was comfortable, and well appointed. There was plenty of towels, toiletries and linen was impeccably clean. Room had everything you might expect from a 5 star rated hotel. The entrance including the bridge in front, gives off strong old-world colonial era grandeur vibes. Lobby and interiors, dining halls, grand staircase, all remind one of a royal heritage. The Christmas tree and decoration looked beautiful. The restaurants are well known to serve delicious food, and no issues with that. The staff (mostly the young ones) were very warm, welcoming and polite. The senior staff did seem a little lackadaisical though not impolite.
Room was in the newly renovated 4th floor but the room had few issues. Looks like the renovation project was not monitored well enough. The smart-TV lost internet connectivity 2-3 times, but was promptly fixed by IT team when reported. The bathroom door was extremely tight from the get go and eventually it came off it's overhang rails, to get jammed. Hotel promptly sent in-house carpenter, who tried, called his senior who too couldn't fix it 100% saying that it'd need full rail disassembly. They offered another room, but I declined as we'd have checked out next morning, and didn't wish to waste more time shifting etc. The light-control bed-side switches seem to have some mix-up and need a particular combination to switch to true "nightlight" mode. Also that could be done only from switches on left side of bed, not from the other side, which is usually not how it should be.
The morning breakfast spread was quite good including few live counters, however on the second day of our stay with more than an hour before breakfast closure time, there seemed to be too many things needing refilling. I think that the hotel was not well prepared to handle the surge of holiday guests. It took us 15 minutes to be seated, as the breakfast areas was full. The staff was trying it's best though. It'd be good if someone were to monitor the refilling requirements more closely and proactively.

The front office officer Ms. Khusi Aryal exhibited the highest level of professionalism and ensured that all my needs and preferences were met effortlessly. She went above and beyond to make me feel valued as a guest, enhancing my overall experience at your hotel.
The check-in process was swift and efficient, thanks to the knowledgeable and friendly Front Office associate Ms. Khusi Aryal. She promptly attended to me, ensuring that all formalities were completed seamlessly. Moreover, they(Ms. Khusi Aryal & Mr. Amit) provided me with valuable information about the hotel facilities, dining options, and nearby attractions, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Throughout my stay, the Front Office staff Ms. Khusi Aryal consistently displayed exceptional customer service skills. She is always available to assist me with any inquiries or requests, maintaining a positive and helpful attitude & sweet smile at all times. Her attention to detail and willingness to address even the smallest of concerns truly stood out. She made sure about my transportation, spa & comfortable stay.
I would like to extend my special appreciation to Front Office Staff Ms. Khusi Aryal and the entire team, who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Her friendly demeanour and proactive approach created a memorable experience for me. She was always ready to assist, and her genuine care for my comfort and satisfaction was evident throughout my stay. My best wishes to Ms. Khusi Aryal for successful hospitality journey ahead and Appreciate Mr. Amit for his brilliant and warm hospitality, my best wishes to him, too.

There was nothing special about this hotel, it wasn’t worth the price the rooms okay, I was told I would get a city view but I got the view of the pool, I was told in the email that I will get free breakfast but there was nothing offered

AC in the Pavilion restaurant could not cool at all, leaving it hot and humid.

My stay was only for three quarter of the day and I needed to take a flight in the night. Kiran was very helpful in arranging my needs. He also helped me get my item shipped rather than me taking with me. He ROCKS!
