Easy to find, very safe as locked front entrance, very conveniently placed ,family run,24 hr front desk,comfortable room,no issues at all,second time of staying, good value, bit old style but great for me and would highly recommend and will be staying again.

The hotel is family run and you can feel the warmth of the place by their warm smiles and friendliness. The room was very clean and all amenities provided. Breakfast was tasty. Check in and out was very easy with 24hr reception. Excellent location very central and 5 minutes walk away from the central train station.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, particularly the front desk and the dining room staff. The room was neat and clean. The bathroom could do with a bit of renovation including a new shower with better water pressure. My room was not serviced during my stay.
All in all, a lovely hotel, very conveniently situated to the Principality Stadium. Great breakfast and convenient parking location nearby. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

It's functional but clean & tidy with everything you need, & quite quiet for city center location, bed are comfortable with ever thing you need tea Coffee facilities. Iron board, & good value

Fantastic location and very kind and helpful employees. The solo room offered all it needed and the bed was comfy.
Unfortunately, the rooms are not very soundproof. The whole property could do with a renovation, however based on the location alone it is great value for money.

To make a long story short, bathroom floor tiles were cracked, toilet set was loose, bath was dirty (i didnt use it), a socket in between the beds is broken, the desk was sticky & dirty.
The lady at check in was lovely but, the gentleman the took over was not so great.. i had come back from a shop & he was on the phone the whole time i was at reception.

Very friendly staff. All basic amenities there, kettle, ironing board etc. Hotel a little dated, but that’s reflected in price. We had noise from barriers on road from early hours. But you are in the centre of Cardiff, so noises to be expected. Really enjoyed our stay .

Clean and tidy, and very central. Some noise at night as it's in a busy area but I had no problem sleeping. The hotel is a little dated but everything was clean and working. Everyone was also very friendly at reception.

We had a wonderful stay here! ..Alison & Simon are fabulous hosts ..they really can't do enough for you!! The hotel itself is abit tired & really needs a refurb.. but this is reflected in the very reasonable rates. It is perfectly clean & tidy..which is more important to me!!.. we would definitely stay again.. & infact we have already re-booked!!

The hotel was a little tired but this would be expected for the price. Great value for money. The rooms were very clean with crisp white linen on the bed. Alison who was on reception was lovely. She made me feel at home and was bright and cheerful with a ready smile. Well done to Alison. I would recommend as this hotel is centrally located and doesn’t charge stupid prices.

Lovely old accommodation. Lovely host. The building is old so it’s quite noisy (bring earplugs works well)
Our shower didn’t really work well, so we could only use the bathtub. It’s in the city center which makes it perfect to go around Cardiff.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Even though the hotel was on a busy street, our room was quiet and safe. The English breakfast was delicious.
Everything was very easily walkable. We enjoyed our stay here.

Was perfect for my one night stay. Reception was very friendly, shower was nice hot, great water pressure. Slept great and was really quiet overnight. If you struggle with stairs, maybe not for you, or request a lower floor, but otherwise perfect for short stay in Cardiff. Couldn't believe how much was on doorstep, stadiums and arena one direction, castle in the other, and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Very short walk from train station too. If I was seeinf another event at the nearby arena I would stay again.

Helpful and friendly staff. Hotel very well situated near to the Principality Stadium. As we were in the front there was some noise from the bars in the street outside but it didn’t take us long to get to sleep! Lovely breakfast and catered for gluten free
