Hotel looks much better on the pics than in real.

Old room and bath, Toilet Flush works only sometimes than not anymore, only one Towl in bathroom availible, House climate fan runs all night , can't switch it off.
First and last stay there.

The hotel is located next to some of most happening places in Bangalore like MG Road, Brigades, etc.
The in-house Kodla restaurant is amazing.

Cleanliness can improve as found two used towels and a toothpick in the wardrobe which was a bit disgusting. Also, the hotel should provide two bath towels and two hand towels for a couple. Otherwise, it was good.

This hotel has a great location - Richmond Circle which had my local office a stone's throw away. The staff is courteous and helping. Breakfast menu and taste both have a good scope for improvement. They have another restaurant 'Kudla' serving Mangalore cuisine - it serves awesome food..
Room is good but not outstanding. Air conditioning in the room was not functioning well and the bathroom shower had just a curtain and no collapsible glass door causing the water to flow all over the bathroom floor.

It was very good and comfortable for a 3 start hotel. Perfect for business.

This was a hotel picked for a business meeting. It was clean, well maintained and very pleasant. It was a modern room with lots of buttons which meant inadvertently pressing do not disturb so the room was not cleaned.The on site restaurant whilst not fancy was perfect for eating in in a hurry.The staff were always polite and helpful.

Staffs are well behaved. Had noise during my stay on 2nd day due to renovation on the same floor. otherwise everything was ok

An average hotel at a central location..The reception office staff is quite slow though they are always smiling. They had no clue about my bookings from Hotels website and had to mail them the receipts on reaching the venue.However overall the stay was comfortable..Food at South Indian Restaurant is good...Can say it's value for money hotel at Hotels website discounted rates..

The only positive about the place is location, otherwise this is a run down hotel. Not great at all. Bad toilets. Can get much better hotel for this price.

Overall a good experience. The advantage of this hotel is its central location and hence is accessible from most city parts. The restaurants offer a good variety of menu, however they need to be made more airy and roomier.

This is an excellent piece of property, good for a hotel, in a prime location, right in the heart of the city, but overall maintenance seems to be neglected ; central AC was absolutely ineffective and we even wanted to change the hotel but did not do so, since our full stay of 6 days had already been paid in full through Expedia.
Staff are very friendly, eager to give service but badly trained and / or supervised ; special mention must be made of Lobby Manager Sairam who tried all his best to make us happy but was obviously helpless because of staff issues. It was because of Sairam that we decided to stay on without making an issue and not check out.
On staff training, for example, in a double room, where there are 2 occupants, most hotels give adequate cups, plates, etc when coffee or food is ordered ; here if we order 1 dish, only one plate and spoon were given, despite our pointing this out to the staff. Coffee refills were never kept but had to be asked for EVERY TIME !!! Finally, we thought it better to buy our own instant coffee and used this instead of asking the staff ; housekeeping can definitely do with better training !!!

3) EVERY TIME WE RE-ENTER THE ROOM, THE SMART CARD FAILS TO REGISTER AND WE HAVE TO THE FRONT DESK REPEATEDLY. BUT THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE ARE POORLY EDUCATED BUT THE HOTEL SYSTEM AND POORLY HANDLE THE SITUATION.

THEY SAY NEXT TIME CHECK IN DIRECTLY AND MANAGER SAYS ONLINE SERVICE IS BAD. SERIOUSLY !!!! ONLINE BOOK IS GOOD MANAGEMENT IS BAD.

BUT THE AMBIENCE OF THE RESTAURANT IS SIMILAR TO A BUS STAND HOTEL WITH LEAKING ROOF, WORN OUT FLOOR, PLATES ETC BUT STILL THEY CHARGE AROUND 500 TO 600 RS PER PLATE OF BIRYANI . ( WHICH WE CAN GET IN MARRIOT OR SKYE BAR IN UB CITY IN THE OPPOSITE ROAD . RATES ARE NOT JUSTIFIABLE HERE NOR THERE ANY CUSTOMERS.

Upon arriving to the hotel the staff told me they never received my itinerary. They ended up having to give me some other room which wasnt what I booked. It was pretty comfy, but it was a very weird smell in the room. If you are looking for 5 star, even 4 star, look elsewhere. My primary gripe with this hotel is that it states on Expedia's booking page that internet (WiFi and wired high speed) are offered free and complimentary. THAT IS A LIE!! I had arguments with the hotel staff everyday about having my free wifi, to no avail. Terrible customer service on the hotels part. This needs to be removed from Expedia's site so customers can make informed choices. I would have NEVER chosen this hotel if i knew WiFi wasnt included in my package. Overall, the room was a 2.5 out of 5, no free wifi and terrible breakfast...i suggest looking at other hotels in the area that have better rooms and free wifi like VT Paradise.

its a nice hotel to stay in Bangalore if u want to stay within the proximity of the malls and shopping areas..from outside though it looks little old but the room conditions are good..the staff is very courteous and helpful..overall a pleasant place to stay in

I stayed at the Ramanashree for three nights and had a most pleasant stay. The staff are extremely courteous and welcoming and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The room was very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job. At any point as you walked through the public areas if a staff member saw you he/she would hasten over to greet you, hold doors open, etc. They also have a superb Punjabi restaurant called Legacy of Punjab where the food is delectable - excellent kababs. Just one caveat - when signing bills make a note of them so you can cross check at billing time as the print out takes a while to decipher and I was charged for something that I had already paid cash for - this was rectified as soon as I pointed it out so no problem there but helps to have your own account handy at check-out time. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay at a decent price. Well done Ramanashree and thanks to all the staff who made my stay so pleasant.
