Awful hotel, very bad condition, poor breakfast, super small room. Code front door doesn work. Came back after party at night and cant open it

Great property within walking distance of the metro. Older building but very clean. Nice breakfast every morning which was an added bonus.

We liked this hotel. Very nice staff and a good breakfast!

Stayed for 2 nights. The property is very lovely with a historic charm and feel. The staff qas lovely and made checking in super easy. The room was nice with high ceilings but the bathroom door couldn't close completely. They offered a standard continental breakfast. The hotel is in a very walkable and transit friendly neighbourhood and made getting to La Ronde very easy and cheap (less than 30mins).

The building was clearly remodelled to accommodate as many guests as possible and was just kind of thrown together with poor labour. The building has a code to get in which was the same code as our door however the building is not staffed 24/7, so if you or someone else forgets their code, you can’t get in. Some people during our stay were banging on the glass door and yelling until someone else let them in. Our room was right at the front of the building by the door which made this even more inconvenient. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything, including those talking in the lobby when there were staff. If you don’t care about any of these things, it’s not a terrible place to stay. Just wasn’t for us.

average stay.

There wasn’t even any coffee in the room nor the common area.

I had a pleasant stay. all the staff members are incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
3.8
It’s in a residential area, so on the quieter side. 15 minute walk from the metro which is perfect.

Wonderful property !loved how we didn't have to use any keys or card system instead the door have locks with pass cords which is very convenient and safe.

Hotel is not far from Metro (underground), 15min walking. Good point
Hotel is quiet. Good point.
Not dirty but not clean. Many things in room could be better (shower, bed, ..)

The place is quiet and cozy, and close to tourist attractions (ex. Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Port Montreal, etc.)

Excelent customer service. At first I was worried about checking in at 1AM but the person at the office wlal me through all the steps prior my arrival he took the time to explain how to do an online check in and I got my code for the room and the main door
Would highly recommend!

Great place overall.

The room was clean and everything worked. The breakfast has a great selection of items.

The staff will go out of their way to help you with directions or any personal requests.
My room was excellent with a private bathroom, airy and quiet. The dining hall also spacious and a generous and varied spread for buffet breakfast offered daily, good coffee available all day.
The hotel is a bit remote from central Montreal, however if you’re prepared to walk or catch a bus to the subway you can reach there in 30 minutes.
In 12 minutes you can walk to Rue Ontario which has cafés and assorted shopping. Part of the street is blocked to traffic and has a lively atmosphere with not too many tourists, much more relaxed than downtown.
Great value for money and highly recommended if you want to experience some local colour with a comfortable lodging.

Amazing to have on-site parking in such a city notorious for difficult driving! The staff were so sweet and welcoming. A great stay for my first visit to Montreal!

Old hotel, clean and quiet, friendly staff, good breakfast. Streets around dirty and looking very poorly.

The breakfast lady was very unhelpful. I wanted to eat the yogurt and asking for spoons. She said no. Basically whatever we asked her, she just said no.

The stay itself was fine, except for the additional $150 the manager charged me at check in. I purchased a package deal through expedia, flight and stay. I booked flights for me and my husband and booked a four-person room (it explicitly said it slept 4 people) because we were meeting my parents there. When we arrived the manager called me and made me pay an additional $150 for the "extra" two people, claiming that I did not say in my booking that I would be bringing 4 people. There was nowhere in the expedia booking that required me to declare how many people would be in the room, and I assumed that since I selected a room for four, it would be included in the pricing of that room. The extra $150 basically nullified the expedia "package" deal, and I'm not entirely sure charging me like that was entirely kosher, but it's fine.
The stay was fine otherwise, the rooms are clean although very bare bones. Things to note: if you want a coffee you have to buy each keurig pod, and parking is hell, there's about six spots total.

Property is conveniently located not that far from downtown . Good breakfast is also helps saving time. Rue Ontario offers variety of dining option.

Good location, clean and nice breakfast. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Check-in was a little confusing. A/C was good, but we couldn’t control the temperature so it was a bit cold. There is some parking but it is limited.

Really perfect for a shirt week or weekend away. Parking was good. Air condition kept us cool. Amenities readily available.
More pros than cons.
Could do with more signage for breakfast info which is located on the floor below reception

I recently stayed at Auberge Manoir Ville Marie and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was big, clean and well equipped.
The hotel's location is ideal, situated close to major attractions and public transportation. The breakfast was good enough.
One of the standout features of Auberge Manoir Ville Marie was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs.
Overall, my stay at Auberge Manoir Ville Marie was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I look forward to returning in the future.

Property is old and dirty, looks like a cheap motel.
3.8
Management and employees are wonderful. It's a little hostel in Homa so not a 5 starts but it's cozy :) I had a small problem with my room and they handled it perfectly and fast. Will come again !
3.8
Small old and in need of renovations.
3.8
Location is not too bad. Receptionist is kind of friendly but housekeeping is not nice.
3.8
The lobby had a horrible smell that I can’t stop thinking about. Fortunately the upper floors and rooms were ok, but every time you entered you had to smell it. Nauseating. Parking was very limited and difficult to maneuver. The only thing housekeeping did was empty the trash and yet had the nerve to leave an envelope for a tip.
