Great location

Property is not fully refundable as the website states! There is no option to choose where your room will be. I assumed I would be on the beach, but was a block away, had to cross the 3 lane street to get to anything. The best part of this place was the pool.

The hotel said that they would be issuing a full refund as the room was uninhabitable. Mold smell, squishy floor, etc. apparently they are closing their doors after this season due to condition of the building.

If your looking for luxury this is not it. But neither are most hotels on the pier. The hotel is run down, the room get musty from the air quality and can smell. The air conditioner fixes that. The TV is old and the garbage cans were dirty, regretted taking the bag out myself. The beds were comfortable for the most part. It worked for use because all we were doing was sleeping there, we used their outside patio mostly and hung out a people watched. We walked the board walk in like one day so we filled our time with shopping at the outlets and the tangers which is an hour away. The cleaning staff and front were so nice, we asked for towel and they didn’t waist time, Gave use new towels and toilet paper. We didn’t have them come clean the room while we were there. Because of the humidity the towels don’t dry so you need new towels everyday practically. They pool was very nice, goes to 5 feet and was a great temp. They always had coffee in the morning through the day, it was always fresh. Staff was always there to help. Water pressure in the shower was great and it got steaming hot, if that’s your thing. Over all I would use this hotel again.

Did not have my reservation so they “accommodated me” and gave me a bigger room for the inconveniences. Great. Get into the room to find an absolute disgusting of an establishment. We decided to just stay because we already drove all this way for vacation. After one night we decided we could not continue the rest of our vacation there. The room I originally booked did not look like this. This was not an accommodation. It had small beds, mold, shower handle fell off and could not use the cold water in it. The sink would not drain after brushing your teeth. The toilet would not flush properly. When I contacted the manager she got rude with me after I stated I did not want maintenance or the maids to come and wanted a refund. There is nothing the maintenance or maids could do to fix that place. Unsafe and disgusting environment. The pool also states it is heated and was absolutely freezing but that was the least of my concerns after the rest of the bad experience I had there. Save your money and time and find a different hotel.

it is what it is. read the reviews after booking , and was horrified lol. yes it's a old beach hotel. no it isn't the greatest, but you get what you pay for in life ! The Majestic is by far the lowest priced property directly on the boardwalk. To even get a slightly better stay you'll pay double if not triple the rate of The Majestic. Rooms were small, but bed was decent. didn't see any bugs at all. even though was right on the boardwalk our room was quiet at night. tvs suck , and all you get is internet pluto tv that cuts out and buffers every 30 sec, but we weren't there to watch tv ! Perfect Location ! If you dont expect caviar for hot dog prices , The Majestic is a wonderful stay !

Older property, location is great and price is right for that reason but the bed was old sunken in and not comfortable. I could overlook all that for the price and location but we had about 1 minute of hot water when getting ready to go to dinner. For that reason alone I wouldn't stay here again.

The property is really old and falling apart! Bathroom doors are broken, rusty shower curtain and pipes,shower wall falling apart, aircon is just blowing air and not cooling the room, wifi unreacheable, toilet flush broken, the whole property looks dirty, nearby rooms are loud, it's just not comfortable to stay,I have been to a 3rd world country and this is no better than average hotel there.

Great location. Property was clean. It could use some updating. But the location cant be beat. There was no wifi in the apts. The front desk staff were very nice but they were all new and it seemed that they lacked any real support. They were nice and as helpful as they could be.

From advertisement, it did show that the property was a lil outdated as far as the carpets, curtains and bedding. It didn’t show an old stove left on the side of our property. It didn’t show that we were going to have to use a folded cot for the twin bed in the second room. Told us that we were supposed to have a queen size bed and that was more of a full-size bed. All the windowsills, air conditioners and appliances were dirty or dusty. The dining room table was a very old wooden table that had a bunch of dents and scrapes and broken pieces. There was a light with a blown lightbulb. The pool area was not as advertised. Parking was very tight. Washing machine and dryer was advertised, but neither worked. Water never got fully hot. They had salt and pepper for us to use, but I wouldn’t dare use it because of how nasty and dirty it was at the top of the containers where we’re supposed to pour the salt and pepper out of. Communication was very horrible because as soon as we got to check in instead of us, having better instructions to our apartment , we went to the wrong apartment and we thought our key wasn’t working so we called front desk who was supposed to send out someone to help us with it. She never did. Call front desk for iron. They told me to walk across the street to get it just to tell me they don’t have one for me. House cleaning walked into our apartment without knocking and service was not called, scary.

I paid for a one bedroom “apartment” and was given a small hotel room with two double beds and a couch, no seperate rooms at all. It was supposed to have a kitchen and all we had was a small beer fridge and a microwave that was sketchy. it was disgusting, hadnt been updated in years, bathroom sink faucet hardly had water coming out of it, beds were extremely uncomfortable, doors and walls were paper thin. The only positive is that it was literally on the beach.

The whole place is super old and almost nothing works...the bathroom mirror is broken and very dangerous. You can't put a lock on the door, it smells and the beds are in very bad condition. is uper bad condition. Everything needs to be renovated.

This was a last minute booking as we were not satisfied with the first place we booked and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience here. From the beautiful ocean front room that was quite spacious, to the amazing customer service that I received, I couldn’t complain. With that being said, parking was a little tight, however they did have a second lot that was across the street that offered plenty of room, and the hotel is a little outdated - the carpets in the hallways have to be from the 70’s but otherwise, everything was great at the Majestic Hotel. Everything is in walking distance here as you are right on the boardwalk. Would stay there again!

What can I say, if I could give zero stars it would be 0/10. Housekeeping missed my room multiple days . I had to ask for more towels and tp. The room is small, plaster coming off of the walls. It feels like the floor in the room is sinking in. Shower is a low flow faucet. Tub isn’t solid to the ground. The shower didn’t drain right. Tv didn’t work all the time, WiFi was bad. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel. Door can still stay open even if the chain is on. The only good part was the night maintenance man. Terrible service from the hotel. Had to wait for towels and to for about 20 mins. I do not recommend staying at this dump.

Older, but room was very clean. Not far from the pier and great boardwalk/beach access. Nice porch facing beach.

Very outdated. Floor was slanted to the point of appearing to fall through and I slept with the light on. outdated! Needs painting!Walls repaired etc. I would not stay here again. The staff was friendly and the outside deck was nice.

Room had peeling paint, only shower use, could not use tub. Microwave and frig were rusty. TV worthless as there was poor internet signal. Parking is terrible. Pool is outside, heated. That was nice and situated right on boardwalk.

The photos are not at ALL what you are getting. The advertised photos must be from a different location or hotel. This place is filthy and looks like a basement.

Was a great apartment and location to everything

Majestic is in a perfect location. Right on the boardwalk with an amazing staff. Rooms are pretty outdated, however d For the price it is certainly worth it

We were there for mine and my youngest daughter’s birthday. We were able to check in a little earlier than expected, which was nice. Once getting settled in the room we ran into a few issues but the lady working the front desk am shift July 2nd was very nice and attentive. She got maintenance to fix our issue immediately. The only issue we had was when our breaker blew the 3rd time the next day , I asked a housekeeper to call down to get them to fix it, it was about 15min that passed and nothing was done so I had to go from the 4th floor to the first floor to go to the desk(as our phone didn’t work in the room). I tried calling the hotel directly from my cell but no one answered. Also there was no mention of additional parking. July 4th we went to jolly rogers on 30th and the parking lot was full when we got back. I learned about additional parking in a different lot from another guest. Other than that everyone was great at getting us everything we needed. The coffee in the morning was really good too. I had a cup on the porch in the mornings.

Good spot! The only thing I didn’t like about this place was that the water in the bathroom would get ice cold when trying to take a hot shower.

They did not reserve my room, they sold my room, at the time of my arrivals the room was not available anymore. They didn’t care about my reservation, my kids were frustrated with the situation. I need immediately refund please.

I will be staying again!

I was thrown off that our place wasn’t on the boardwalk at first. It ended up being across the street. I was kinda disappointed but no biggie. It was a roomy place with full laundry and kitchen! I also got an extra $400 charge on my card upon check-in, after paying the balance, that no one could explain. My bank took it immediately so I’m out $400 of vacation money. It was refunded to me after check-out. Very inconvenient and not told to me that would be happening. I felt like bad luck things kept happening to me… but I love ocean city and enjoyed my stay.

They wouldn't let us check in until an hour after check-in time. Told us they'd bring more towels, but never did. The carpets in the room were downright vile. It was pretty gross, but the location was perfect.

room was very dank and musty smelling ..tv had several lines running down the middle ..bathroom sink would not stop running ..maintenance came in and shut the hot water off to the sink and never came to put it back on ..there was no ice machine ..you had to ask at the desk and you got a small tiny bag that they had in a cooler behind the desk and was told if we wanted more we could go buy some .we knew that it would not be a 3 star hotel but a 1.5 is being generous

It was good the only problem was the bathroom it became extremely cold all of a sudden overall the pool and everything else was good
