I have NEVER stayed at a "Hotel" where I had to make my bed, take out my trash, request fresh towels, etc. They only service their rooms on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Our bath was dated and the faucet at the sink was awful. No safety rails in the bath as well as a very low toilet. The sofa in our room showed wear and smelled musty. The only real positive was that the people at the desk were nice. For what the 4 nights cost (more than $1100.), would not go back or recommend.

They were very friendly, but the price was jacked up so high because of the festival it’s like everybody is out to get you. The hotels knew people would not even be in the rooms or using the gyms and the pools and still had to get a piece of the pie !!! Just so unfair. I paid 1400 dollars for something that should have been less than 500. I am not sure I will ever do that again but if I do it will be a last minute hotel as I learned from this experience, it doesn’t pay to get them early. The bed was the smallest queen I ever slept in and the mornings outside smelled really bad like garbage or sewage not sure which. Pillows were not good!

We've stayed here for a few years now. There have been some improvements with the rooms. The bed this year was far more comfortable than in the in past. Hopefully they continue upgrading the rooms. The furniture was new but the bathroom was not. We really like the location and will probably stay here again in the future.

My friends and I had a good time! I thought the hotel room needed to be upgraded and it was hard to get extra towels with 4 women in the room. There was a young lady at the counter however that was very nice and helpful!

The staff was great! The rooms could use a little tlc but they were clean! We had a suite by the pool with 2 king sized beds and a kitchenette. We loved our time in OC MD!

We stayed in the king suite.. it was very nice.. it was large and pretty clean.. the location was very convenient
We did have a hard time getting towels, garbage, bags and other requests.. the WiFi didn’t work they said they would move us but we didn’t want to pack and unpack again.. the gym equipment was broke and pieces were missing .
The staff could definitely be kinder!

Close by the beach and boardwalk.Room was clean but smell of mold terrible. We stayed five days in hotel and all the time our door to the balcony was open because of smell .

The Tidelands was fantastic. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The beds were very, very comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing. The room was very quiet and we had no issues. The desk people were super nice and friendly. We are planning to go back again to Ocean City and will definitely stay at the Tidelands. The room was absolutely amazing and the price was fantastic compared to other hotels on the boardwalk. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Ocean City.

The Tidelands was fantastic. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The beds were very, very comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing. The room was very quiet and we had no issues. The desk people were super nice and friendly. We are planning to go back again to Ocean City and will definitely stay at the Tidelands. The location of the hotel was wonderful! The property and rooms were very dirty. Our room was so dirty and unsanitary that we went to the front desk and requested a new room, the manager the front desk was wonderful, she upgraded us to another room, which was much better, but still not as clean as we would of liked. My husband and I left a day early because of the rooms.

Contrary to the other reviews i actually enjoyed this hotel and it was not as the other reviews made it seem. I had nice ocean view room, the room was spacious clean and just as described in the expedia website. I will be returning in the future.

Where do I begin. Room was DIRTY, there was bubblegum stuck to the wall by the bed, mold in the bathroom. When we opened the pullout couch to use as a bed. It was folded up with food from the previous guest still in it. Blood Stain on the comforter. The pool doesn't look like its even been treated. Thin walls, you can hear the neighboring rooms conversations. Very limited parking. There is overflow parking 4 plus blocks away, but not very convenient for ADA parking.
On the plus Size, the mattresses were comfortable and the suites have a nice amount of space in them.

The front desk staff was really nice and friendly. The room is awful! There hole all over the room. Very old and the ceiling has a big stain with paint peeling off and falling. There weird black stain all over the room.

Comfortable bed, hot water, decent amount of space in the suite. Basic amenities, 2 mini-fridges, one of which died, but they were quick to replace. Wifi was pretty much non existent/unusable.

Location, location, location! Great location! A bit dirtier for the price we paid. Confusing with 2 entrances. Parking is tight, and tricky to manipulate. Sidewalks don't connect properly, so we were constantly stepping over curbs into stones to get back on the sidewalk. All that being said; in a pinch, we would stay there again.
