Clean, the location is nice very close to restaurants, the hotel restaurant is incredible. The reception was nice.

Whilst the bed was comfy there was always a squeak noise whenever either of us would move not a strong noise but always a noise which could become annoying

I like the space in the room and I really appreciated having fridge (though it’s motor was unusually noisy), microwave and coffee maker.

Elevators were taken up with moving beds, paintings, construction workers and employees rather than placing one on service and leaving the other for patrons. I would have stayed anyway but felt that I should have been made aware of the construction within the hotel when I made the reservation. I was in the room right above the entrance with lights focused right at the windows and into the room. Closing the curtains did not darken the room sufficiently. The hanger hack worked but did I really have to resort to that?! Houskpng entered my room in the afternoon after they had cleaned it. Why? I returned for a rest before going back out and was interrupted. I waited a very long time for service in the bar and had to get my own menu (I waited 15 mins for a menu, but the guy working alone was kind.) I disliked the sheets with the uncovered duvet sandwiched in between and wondered about cleanliness especially after stepping in a puddle of water upon arrival and noting dust and dirt in the lobby. The bed looked inviting and wasn’t the worst I’ve slept in, but it wasn’t all that comfortable either. There was hammering at 9:10 pm and the construction outside rattled the bed at 7 am on the nose (and people making noise coming in in the wee hours). And though I figured out how to turn the heat up finally - it blew on my face and was quite uncomfortable. I had to move furniture to block the wind it created. There really wasn’t a good hot shower - just warm water. And lastly, a warm welcome would have been appreciated, perhaps a map, available for free at the train station. Overall, I enjoyed my stay because I was determined and though I chose to stay where the price was somewhat reasonable I think it was very over priced for what I received.

Restaurant and Location were amazing. Staff should have notified or discounted guests due to the loud disturbing noise of renovations directly above our room.

There was no notice of renovations being done. Only 1 elevator was in use for guests. Hot water seemed to not be very hot for shower use. The renovations began early in the morning directly above our room and the banging around was very disturbing.

Staid there in Feb 2023 and was disappointed. Rooms are big and mostly clean somehow a little bit outdated but there were 2 issues during my stay there. First some renovation works in the building during the day (hopefully) but still it could be noisy at some point. 2nd issue that could be related to the 1st is that the hotel hosts some travel groups and their room was on the same floor as mine. There were a bunch of excited teenagers that spent quite some time during the evening just past midnight speaking loudly in the corridors... so not a quiet stay.

the rooms were spacious, excellent finishings, modern and bed very comfortable.

receptionist: extremely unpleasant woman, looks down pn you and refuses to be helpful in any way.

Breakfast was very good. Personnel in cafeteria was great, friendly and pleasant. The room was clean. Wi-fi was stable.

At the time when we stayed in the hotel, there a renovation started. It was no any notification about upcoming renovation in booking.com when I booked the hotel; the same during check-in. One day it was no hot water in a washroom. Constant construction noise around the room. Elevators didn’t work properly: sometimes they didn’t move, sometimes went to opposite direction (down instead of up). The personnel were entering into the room without waiting for a response from us. Three times it was a quick knock in the door and at a next moment somebody already was in our room. Twice it was a woman and once a man. That was really unpleasant. However, in most cases cleaners were waiting for our response.
