Old installations. Staff was not eager to help and seemed poorly trained. Breakfast is not varied Plus, they charged us usd1480 upon arrival just as a guarantee that was supposed to be canceled upon check out, it was a month ago and we are still struggling to get a refund because they are charging us.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great central location. Close to riverfront, French Quarter and streetcar access. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We always choose this hotel when visiting New Orleans.

I didn't like the fact that the rooms are so expensive but you don't get a free breakfast or anything. They even charged me $3 and some change for a bottle of water that was in the room. This place doesn't give you anything free but a cookie!!

The location was close to everything and within walking distance to get where I needed to go for my excursions.

Clean and comfortable. A little further from entertainment centre than advertised. Walls thin - a lot of noise from people in other rooms going in 3am in morning or out 5am. However, staff great. Allowed us early check in when we arrived Breakfast expensive but restaurant and bar reasonable.

The noisy fan in the bathroom every time you turned on the light. At check-in, they did not charge me the booking.com price I was guaranteed and I had to plead to get it corrected.

I loved how welcoming and informative the valet were , it was our first time and they helped us out with finding places to enjoy ! The staff was nice but the valet staff had high energy and quick on their feet ! Loved leaving seeing them and they speak and ask about our plans , they told us spots we should try and etc

Central location

We paid for a king bedroom, but our room had two double beds. When we requested to switch to the room we paid for, we were told that Hilton doesn’t have to give the customers the room they paid for, but they are only required to give “a room” when customers book through Booking.com. It was an unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. Do not book Hilton through Booking.com, as clearly you are on your own when the hotel gives you an inferior room.

Almost nothing about this place except for the view from the room and the sunrise in the morning

Almost everything. NO noise control. The adjacent room noise was so vivid and very startling whenever the people in the next room opens and closes the door. All the sounds were unfiltered, alarming as if someone were breaking in. The staff just came in when I was sitting on toilet. So startled. The front desk staff was so unfriendly, as if treating me as an intruder. No itemized receipts provided. Only one staff member was kind enough to scan and send me the receipt after multiple attempts via email, text, and phone call. I would NEVER EVER stay in this hotel again. The worst mainline hotel I have ever experienced at this cost.

booking.com reservation didn't make it into the system, thankfully there were available rooms and i was able to make a new reservation on site. elevators were dirty, room was musty, place was dingy. also, my receipt never arrived by email as promised.
