This was a beautiful property with an amazing staff, The food was fantastic. We only stayed for one night, but wish we had stayed for more. The pool and views were perfect.

We were not aware that there was a 1 hour drive off road to reach the Planters house. Make sure you use the bathroom before you go.

The house is in need of a little more care. The staff should be wearing uniform.

The place is magnificent. Lot of charm, nicely decorated and an amazing pool. Staff was very caring and professionnal. The trail to Lipton's seat is highly recommended as you will walk through small mountaineous villages and tea plantations. As it is not the touristic way, you won't find turists along the way.

The place is very remote (which is a good thing) but you need a 45 minutes drive with the 4x4 from the hotel to reach it. Not an issue but probably not recommended with a young baby.

Everything was so nice, staff assisted us when we needed them but most of the time they were “invisible”. I like architecture and the feeling of escaping.

We could handle the road but it was quite challenging. I believe if the owner change a car it would be not so difficult to get to the top.

The place is a gem, hidden in the top of the mountain. The views are breathtaking and the house is really beautiful. Food was good.

The road to the house is an adventure. They will pick you up at the main road and will take you in a mud and rock road for about 40 minutes (not recommended if your stomach is full or if you were pregnant). There were no room service but the cleaning lady was there looking through the window... In the 48 hours that we stood there we had a total of 3h of electricity. They had no power and it is constantly happening. The price is stupidity high for the overall service. We tried before our arriving to speak with the staff trough Booking chat but they never replied. Old furniture, sofa full of stains. Water was dripping in our bathtube. We asked for a fixing, they didn't replied... Far away from Ella.

Omygosh. I can't describe in words how absolutely amazing this place is ..... cannot wait to return
