Last minute break in York. Found this little gem, booked the morning of arrival and we had a lovely time. Room small and cosy. We have no complaints. We like no fuss travel, so this suited us very well. Easy to find, access supported by text messages, even though never saw the hosts they were just a text message away. Comfy bed, towels, drink making facilities and tv. Bathroom good. All reviews are saying this is a small room, yes it is small, but we have stayed in much smaller so this was a pleasant surprise for us.

no space to put clothes/hand up clothes, the heating kept increasing and we couldn’t alter it or open a window so made for uncomfortable nights sleep on the bed which wasn’t comfortable for us

The sink was very dirty around the taps. Room was too hot and we couldn't open the windows. The first half of the night we had to endure awful noises which sounded like drilling.

Nice big clean room with wonderful bathroom.

Wifi was not working properly

Even though it was a house it was seperate accommodation like being in a hotel. This worked well for us.

Fantastic location, so close to the city centre and all attractions. Very clean, modern and spacey. Easy instructions for check in and was ready before should have been.

No parking at property- had to park at car park approx 7/8 mins walk away, which was expensive. Really could have done with a fan in the room, as was very hot but couldn't have windows open overnight as traffic/people passing and road works very noisy. Bed very squeeky and made for a restless night, especially when tossing and turning from the heat!

Stay at your own risk. I had to clean the last users excrement off the toilet seat. Tried to address this with the manager and he refused to even acknowledge my complaint. I wish that was the only thing wrong with this room. Hairs on the painted white bathroom floor, shards of a smashed mirror in the bedside drawer, filthy dressing table/mirror topped of with shoddy customer service, why wouldn't you want to stay here. We reluctantly stayed for 1 of the 2 nights booked and unsurprisingly they're ignoring my email for a refund.

Location was excellent. 3 attempts to sort out wifi. Facilities were fair but more attention to detail needed. I have sent more information to the accommodation.

The shortage of power sockets was very annoying - even to provide a multi-plug would have made life easier. No network TV only Netflix and iplayer etc. The shower attachment did not work properly - either no water or scalding

Great city location

Appalling check in instructions, difficult and dangerous access to the property for anyone with heavy luggage. Key safe awkward to access at top of narrow stairs. No hand rail on entry stairs and difficult to open heavy door. Once inside no idea where to go next as doors not marked. Very noisy on Friday & Saturday night. Items left under bed by previous occupants. TV antenna in room 1 broken so no TV. Incorrect wifi instructions received by email and told yo use a gold key to access property but all keys were silver. Hole in bathroom wall so all water used by others can be heard.

TV did not work! Aerial issue. Contact number for intown guest does not work. Walls are like tissue can hear others in there rooms. Bed very squeaky. Bath infront of window with a dirty blind. No shampoo. No answer from email. Very expensive for what you get
