I’ve paid for the room twice and reception could not find my first payment when I booked

Smell of food coming from the Indian restaurant First room it was in GF and I couldn’t open the window So I couldn’t refresh the room air Second room I paid extra to upgrade while the first room was bigger and the bathroom bigger, only in the second room the bed was king size it didn’t worth it to upgrade just because I need to open the window

No complimentary early check in or late check-out even with few people in the hotel Unhelpful staff, no flexibility with requests or even no will to do basics tasks

They charged me twice. I had fully paid on booking and when I arrived they asked for GBP50 as deposit. Then without my authorization they charged my card for GBP516 again for the full amount. Had I not received an SMS from my bank I would not have known??? Looks like an attempt to fraud ! I informed the management and they agreed to refund me. I’m waiting for the refund to be credited to my credit card.

Advertised as having a balcony. None of the rooms has a balcony. Room was tiny (as was the bathroom) and right opposite the lifts, so noisy all night. I’d happily pay more for a room that was as advertised. The staff were very friendly, though.

I didn’t have breakfast

The pillows smelt of stale sweat. I had to use a towel to cover them to lay my head on them. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard. The remote control for the television was dirty, dust and hair ingrained in the buttons. The room could have done with deodorisation

عدم توفير ادنى وسائل التنظيف كالفرشاة والمعجون والسلبر اكرمكم الله ، عدم نظافة المناشف صغر حجم الغرفة بشكل كبير جدا صغر الممرات مصعد واحد فقط وصغير واخيرا عدم تعاون وادراك العاملين لأهمية كسب السائح

الموقع جيد والطاقم متعاون والنظافه عاليه والهدوء

حجزت غرفتين باسعار مختلفه على اساس تختلف مساحة الغرف وتفاجأت بان الغرف بنفس المساحه وعندما أخبرت الموظف بأنني دفعت سعر أغلى لاحصل على غرفه اكبر اخبرني بان جميع الغرف بنفس المساحه ،كل الغرف صغيره والمساحه المعروضه ببوكنج غير صحيحه ابداااااا

The room! On arrival we were asked if we would like to see a ground floor room they had available. I think because I requested if possible we could have a room with a walk in shower because my mother has a bad knee. We looked in the room and it seemed ok. But once settled and unpacked we then realised it was a disabled room. The bathroom was like being in a hospital room. Not exactly a hotel standard I'd expect for the price with a cheap white shower curtain. The tap for the shower was useless if you wanted hot water you had to turn the lever right round. This meant the pressure increased too much and filled the shower tray and caused it to overflow all over the floor, but turning the pressure down meant it was on cold! We had a window but no natural light or view because the curtain was fastened perminantly closed, it faced what looked like a back yard with air-conditioning constantly rumbling which was annoying. The worst part was, being so close to reception we could here every conversation between staff and guest's. Late at night and early hours of the morning. Then we would be woken by cleaners hoovering the reception area again early in the morning. So our sleep wasnt good at all being constantly woken up!! The staff were so so nice we didn't want to complain. So we 'put up' with the issue's having done one night and only 1 night left. But on reflection now I wished i had, because this trip was my 1st in London with my mother and wanted it to be a special treat. She is 72 and the lack of sleep meant she was knackered throughout our visit around London. I think the room was sub standard for the price I payed. No window view, disabled bathroom not requested and constant noise from reception. I wasn't asked when leaving how my stay was the concierge took our room keys and we left in a taxi. Can't fault the staff at all but the actual room quality and standard wasn't what I expected for London.
