The property was clean and in good condition.

I didn’t like the fact that it had only 2 elevators working.

Great Location…comfy beds….quiet room.

Bathroom faucet and fixtures were broken upon first arrival. Only 2 elevators were working and were slow. Parking and construction in the area made for troublesome coming and going!

The historic building was Beautiful even though they had construction going on outside. The location is perfect cause everything is in walking distance and Beautiful sites to see.

The parking! Valet is $59 a day or park on the Side and pay daily. It was like $7-$9 a day to park. Only Good part was I can see the car from the window.

Only problem was the elevator wasn’t working the entire time we were there and those stairs were very steep.

Parking attendants welcomed us and made us feel very comfortable!

Rooms were not available way past check in time, had to wait in the lobby past an hour even though we had a reservation, settled for a room we didn’t book which was smaller, rollaway bed was disgusting & didn’t even fit, valet was charged even when not utilized, poor customer service

Location was great, 0.5 miles walking distance and safe to the Toyota Center. Room super clean, comfy beds with crisp sheets. We had a corner room with two walls of windows thus lots of natural light. All the staff was spectacular- super pleasant and helpful. Incidentally, the other guests in the hotel super polite and friendly as well. No rowdy or rough people in the Astro crowd.

During certain times of the day, there was a wait for the elevator to arrive. However this is understandable in a very historic building with original elevators.

Great welcoming and greeting check in was pleasantly quick and smooth. Historical and grand building. Walking distance to events .

Parking was to expensive.

I do not like to leave bad reviews, but these property was undergoing some improvements when we visited, so we did take into consideration that we came during a time where we didn’t get the full experience and that was okay :)

I enjoyed the historic origins of the building, and the hotel restaurant was beautiful. It’s in a great location in downtown as well.

There was some construction happening during our stay that was a bit inconvenient.

La ubicación es muy buena, es céntrica, la habitación estaba limpia, y tiene la opción de limpieza a tu gusto…

El primer día preguntamos por la cena, nos dieron un horario como límite, una hora antes del horario que nos indicaron quisimos pedir, pero ya no nos quisieron atender… El segundo día, se prendió una alarma y no pudimos entrar a nuestra habitación aproximadamente por una hora…

Elevator extremely slow

Staff tried to help in difficult situation.

No notification the hotel is under renovation. Most times there was only one lift for the whole hotel. Hard to communicate with cleaning staff. Most was done via phone interpretation. The reception area is on the 2nd floor, not as you enter the building as you would expect.

Elevador estragado, dos 5 só um funcionava, hotel lotado e demorava demais. O serviço de quarto tem que ser pedido. Sem reposição dos produtos de higiene e café do quarto, copos, etc.

Location great. Restaurant low key and elegant with simple, non-pretentious and well-cooked meals.

Not much - it was a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

The room was lovely and modern and a really generous size! The bathroom was huge as well and the Bluetooth on the mirror was pretty cool too! The bed was so comfortable, and we had the best sleeping of our holidays!

The stay was welcoming

There was an extensive amount of construction taking place at the time of my visit. The services were below par. The amenities that were believed to be available such as room service were not available.

The location is wonderful! It is walking distance to Minute Maid Stadium and great restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The elevators were a little slow.

The location being set in downtown Houston , minutes from any location and easy access to the highway
