The property was really clean, kitchen had all the basics, and the property is an easy 10 minute walk to North Beach. Close to restaurants but away from the noise.
Abdiel was great, helping us book snorkeling tours and a golf cart, making things ran smoothly.
We would stay here again.
Note that one of the fold out beds is pretty small, and worked well with our not-very-tall family, but it may feel a little cramped for 4 not-related adults.
The space is lovely and spacious. In reality there is less light than in the pictures because one window is slightly above street level and the other faces directly to the pool, so you have no privacy if the curtains are open. That being said, there was enough light.
Plenty of towels were provided, cleaning was more frequent than we've experienced in other airb&bs, and it was nice to use the pool at the end of the day, when it was still hot outside but we didn't want to go back to the beach.

We actually had four of the apartments as we had our adult kids and friends as well. We stay here every time we come to the island because the apartments are great, the staff is friendly and help with anything we need. View is also awesome. We love that it is within walking distance to North Beach and Hidalgo…but just far enough to have some solitude and quiet when you want it. Thanks!

We couldn't be more pleased with this property. It's close to everything, beautiful inside and out, the pools are awesome, and the staff is accommodating. This was our 2nd time staying here (same room) and we will def be back. I have no desire to look anywhere else on the Island.

Our stay at Villa San Miguel in Oaxaca was perfect for our family of four’s island vacation. When we arrived we realized that one of the sofa beds (futons) was not big enough for our teenager, and they swiftly traded it out for a larger one. The villa was equipped with everything you need for meal prep, coffee, etc. The grocery store was less than a block away. Abdiel arranged our golf cart and provided beach chairs. We basically had our own private pool right out our back door, as none of the other guests used it while we were there. Housekeeping cleaned our room and provided plenty of fresh towels and beach towels every other day. Gloria even carried a load of laundry to be cleaned for our family., which was above and beyond her call of duty. The shower head broke during our stay, and it was promptly repaired “no problem” The staff was very responsive and friendly. The location was wonderful, on the edge of town on the ocean with a great breeze. Highly recommend. My only suggestion is to bring your own games if you are a game family. One other item of note is that there is a large church and courtyard gathering place across the street. Some evenings there were activities that you could hear over the loud speaker. We found that endearing and enjoyed the local culture, but if you are an early to bed light sleeper, bring some ear plugs if you visit during a religious holiday!

We found this property exactly as pictured. The staff supporting the property were friendly and responded to inquires quickly. We especially appreciated being away from the crowded north beach area and the lovely walkway along the ocean. Our favorite place to eat was just a few doors down, Sueño de Marfil.

This was an absolutely fabulous location for two families (in different suites). We took carts to chedraui but then topped up easily at the super Aki right across the street. Sonny’s pizza was right there for the picky kids. It was perfect. Walking everywhere was easy. We rented our carts from the place literally right next door.

Perfect location!
Location, location, location! Villas San Miguel is the perfect place to stay. We walked everywhere with ease even to and from the ferry. The staff was very helpful and accommodating-helping us with all our needs from golf carts to vaccines. This was our first of many trips to Villas San Miguel!

Great place
My wife and I stumbled upon this place as we arrived a day early to Isla and our other accommodations were not ready so we stayed here. We enjoyed the Oaxaca room. Location is great as you have great views of the ocean two pool areas.and you can walk to town minutes away from the great shopping areas and many restaurants. We were very pleased with the quietnesses of being so close to town. We had the fortune of meeting other guests that are repeat customers and they all have stayed there due to the service respect and cleanliness of this property. Had I known this property was this great I would have stayed my entire trip here instead of the place I originally booked. One thing is for sure my next island trip I will be staying here, and recommend you do to!

Very pleasant
Close the hustle and bustle on the north side of the island while being in a quieter area. Had lovely sunrises and sunsets right on the ocean just outside of the property. Heard a bit of street noise at night but nothing too bad. The pools on the property were nice too. There is a mobile covid trailer a five min walk away which was easy.

Beautiful villa in a perfect location!
This property is exactly where you want it to be! So close to the downtown area but just far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Cliff/ocean views just out the back door. Can’t beat it!

Would stay here again
The property was private and I felt safe. Housekeeping came every other day and even did our dishes. Everything works as it should and it was very spacious. I would stay again and I will recommend to friends and family as well. The staff was amazing!

Affordable family getaway
The property was safe and secure. The property manager went above and beyond communicating with our airline when the luggage needed to be sent over to Isla the next day. The property is clean and exactly as advertised. Very quiet, great location, clean and comfortable bedding. We really enjoyed having purified water and the ability to make ice. There is a small store around the corner to make a grocery run.

Great place
I was looking for a place to work from home somewhere nicer than my home and Villas San Miguel was it. The staff was very kind, helped book tours and such at a discount and even fixed my headphones at no charge. The wifi can be a bit wonky in the wind, which was a problem for me trying to have meetings, but should be enough for most travellers.

AMAZING AS ALWAYS
We rented 6 rooms with 12 friends and as always we had the best time! Everything with this stay was great. It was clean and the ladies that clean are very nice and helpful. The grounds are clean and the pool was perfect. I always recommend this place to anyone going to ISLA as it is close to the grocery store, the restraunts, bars and beaches....

Home away from home - wonderful
The San Miguel Villas and and our villa, Oaxaca, were the perfect home away from home. It was exactly as advertised and pictured. Our villa was well stocked with all you need such as towels, beach towels, dishes, pots and pans, drinking water and so on.
The San Miguel Villas are perfectly located. It is only a short walk to a grocery store, pharmacy, Hidalgo Street (where there are more shops and restaurants that you can imagine) and pleasant 10 minute walk to North Beach.
Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer and we can't wait to return.

Perfect spot
Ease of rental and receiving additional information regarding transportation options to the villa were perfect. Location was amazing - set up to be as easy as possible. We met multiple guests that were on return trips to the island and said this was their go to spot. Golf carts only necessary if you haven’t been to the south end of the island. Everything else you could need is steps away. This has been the best VRBO experience yet for us (although we haven’t had a bad one yet either)

So happy we chose this property
From start to finish, everything went smoother than I could have hoped for. We booked the Oaxaca apartment but due to work being done on it, Keith upgraded us to the Puebla apartment. Check in was beyond easy and it was SPOTLESS. We've stayed in quite a few 4/5 star establishments but this beat them. If you're looking to be within a block or two walking distance to downtown and away from the noise, this is your place. We used the pool a bit every day and it was such a nice reprieve from the mid-day heat. Honestly we still can't get over how nice the apartment was. The shower was gorgeous and we had more than enough hot water. The bed was so comfortable I actually slept in quite a bit. Having a kitchen and fridge definitely came in handy as well, mainly for snacks, gatorade and many cervezas. Keith, if you ever write that memoir, let me know. It was a pleasure and hope to be back soon! Thank you so much.

Our July 2019 Isla Mujeres Trip
This VRBO is one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. Both spacious and very affordable. In fact (and unlike some of the VRBO's we've leased/rented): it was EXACTLY as described. The staffing at the facility was courteous and responsive. The apartment-like unit was clean and comfortable. Both A/C units were powerful enough to keep us cool after long days in the sun. The pool is a nice touch - and lends itself to meeting others, but is not "party-like;" so, no noise or undue activity after dark... There was enough lighting inside and out to feel safe. The complex is close to a town center area with a nice Catholic church right next door. Shopping, food and entertainment was so close, we never felt rushed or exhausted getting around. You would do well to stay here. Our only regret was not getting a unit with a sea view. This facility is only a few dozen yards from the Caribbean! The sunrises were gorgeous.
