The hotel is old and smelly. The facilities in the room are none: no courtesy line, few towels

Superb location and a hotel with nice caracter
The noice from the breakfast room right above our room. We paid extra for the terrazza but didnt expect more noice instead.

Superb central location. Beautiful breakfast room on 4th floor and swimming pool on roof.
Friendly helpful staff on reception and, as always, hats off to the cleaners. Lovely clean room and bed.

location is great, with excellent view of the plaza and church, breakfast also good
on this occasion we stayed in room 113, the balcony was overlooked by a security camera from adjacent property. we did bring this to attention of hotel management, but no satisfactory response was provided. as far as we were concerned the security camera was fully capturing our balcony, which is illegal under EU law. so our advice would be to avoid this particular room

1. Location cannot be bettered for Los Cristianos visitors.
2. Staff really welcoming & professional ( Eva - receptionist; Li - Waitress; SOS Pool Lifeguard all deserve special mention).

1. Although I was on a B&B basis, I only obtained breakfast on 4 occasions out of 11 days stay. When I questioned this, it was explained to me that the breakfast room can become overwhelmed during peak times ( 8:15 - 9:15) and that staff are simply unable to offer the advertised breakfast to every guest.
2.When I wished to bring ( the above) problem to hotel management attention, I was advised no management personnel were on-site or, indeed, would be, for the duration of my stay.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. Location was was very good, being able to mingle with the locals was lovely. Room was clean spacious and comfortable. The view overlooking the square and the church from our balcony was wonderful.
Coming home! We had such a lovely week away we felt if possible we should have stayed longer.

Nothing, just nothing was OKAY!
No breakfast before 08:00! What stupid hotel doesn't have breakfast before 08:00? Hotels usually attract two kind of people: travellers and businessmen. Both have things to do, dates to meet, ferries and planes to catch. So both need a breakfast before 08:00. And this is beside the fact that breakfast is served at the 4th floor, witch is...odd. I have seen lots of hotels in my life but never seen one where breakfast is served on the fourth floor. It's ridiculous!

Staff impeccable. Breakfast perfect. Restaurant simple but lovely. Classic, older world atmosphere, impressions of past quality. The sort of place we do like coming back to. Very comfortable, despite minor annoyances.
Tacky decor. Paid for room upgrade, almost twice the regular rate. But no real luxury add-ons in the slightest. No bathroom hair conditioner, body lotion, soap bar etc. —just cheap soap dispenser at sink and shower that didn't work very well. Water was "luke-hot" at best, and often cold. No biscuits and strict 2 x teabags, 2 x decaf coffee and 2 x regular coffee sachets per 24 hours :-(. Safety deposit box only worked part of time and when contacted reception to find out why we were charged €3 per day, even though all that got was a technician to come up and explain how archaic the box was and it still didn't work the next day. Got impression that owners were quite "stingy" or at best "old world thrifty". Bath towels were small and strictly limited to two, no extras. Nothing about swimming pool towels and bar on swimming pool level was deserted with no staff and chairs up on tables—in middle of high season. When queried pool attendant about bar, we were told that had nothing to do with him and we needed to talk to reception (5 floors below). When called they did serve a drink from ground floor, but seemed like a lot of hassle when they wanted only cash.

Lovely traditional Spanish hotel in an excellent location. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Great location, close to everything. Breakfast ok but on our day the sausages were not available. Very nice and helpful reception staff. Very interesting interior design, especially the staircase.
