Very well run hotel, obviously well loved by it's owners and clientele alike. Excellent breakfast, set me up for the day. great location and amazing view from the lounge. Friendly, well run and comfortable.

Great welcome , lovely hot breakfast quality food

Bed was a bit small . Shower was small too . But over all everything was fine . Would have liked more toast and tea with breakfast but didn’t like to ask as staff seemed busy .

The hosts were very nice and friendly. They have created a welcoming and positive atmosphere, the fact that they were trying to find sustainable ways of providing breakfast was a big bonus. Breakfast was freshly cooked and were lactose free and vegetarian options. Great addition was the portable hair dryer in the room rather than the one attached to the wall - although I wasn’t able to use it due to issues with the hot water , therefore skipped washing hair.

The cleaning of the room wasn’t great, I have brought up an issue with the toilet, which has been resolved in a timely manner, although the bathroom and the room itself would need a massive deep cleaning. The window was also dirty, and the curtain had a funny smell. The electric shower wasn’t great, it was either too hot or ice cold - water came in waves, but as it was past 10pm, I wouldn’t want to raise this, really just wanted to go to bed, but wasn’t the best experience.

Nice Location, near to the town centre and just in front of the North Shore. Nicely managed property.
