Great location in the center of Southampton. Furnishings and fittings were of a good quality. Request to host for an item resulted in immediate attention.

The road the building is on is relatively busy at times and the traffic noise (when the windows were open) was a little irritating. But we live in the countryside so may be more sensitive to it than others.

I spent an entire month in this property and honestly, everything was fantastic! very comfy beds, replacement linens were brought to the door regularly, the kitchens are well kitted out with everything you’d need as well. The owners are amazing should you need anything as well. I’ve just booked myself another week there in fact!

There were no keys just a code for both doors, very secure, thought it was a good system.

If anything the only negative comment I have is that it was difficult to confirm the booking from my end uploading a photo etc, which I am still not sure why it was needed as no one checked it was me checking in.

The handle of the front door to the flat is electronic and fiddly to open from the inside. How would you manage in the panic of a fire ? The rate charged seems to vary enormously depending on demand - much more so than a hotel room.

not that i didnt like it but it could do with a bit better cleaning (dust-webs) and little painting here and there but it didnt bother me (my clean freak friends were a bit annoyed so i guess it could bother some)

The floor at the kitchen was stinky unlikely with the acceptable cleanilless all around the appartment,

The location was fantastic, being so close to the main street was a great benefit when needing to purchase shopping or to travel to the isle of wight. The kitchen was very functional and had everything needed to cook a meal. Beds were spacious so sleeping was not a problem for taller people.

If you are not a heavy sleeper the traffic outside might keep you awake as I don't think the windows are double glazed but the noise is not horribly loud. Also an extra bed sheet might be needed during winter when it gets colder.

It was really nicely set up and felt like a home away from home. Well set up, it felt safe and had everything we needed for our trip and we had loads of helpful information from the host

There’s really nothing I call out about, as we were very comfortable and it was in a good position for our needs.

There was something about the pillows.Guess they rushed to check us in and forgot about the pillows.It was so uncomfortable.Top of wardrobe was so dusty.other than these the place was really nice. Would love to be back.

Lovely little flat with everything you need. The owner responded quickly when asked for a fold up bed.

The traffic noise was pretty loud due to morons driving past in vehicles with no silencers and as we were there during the heat wave we had to open the windows. But if the windows are closed it is fine.
