The location and back ocean view was phenomenal! I also liked the quaint atmosphere with the animals and beautiful plants. The hosts were incredible!

it’s location, friendly owners, very beautiful sunrises, the breakfast included in the price of the room is good. for a small fee I was able to store my luggage for the day before leaving for home which was very nice. the small stove in the room for making tea is good

the room was very dark and the water in the room ran out very quickly. if you wash any clothes the room doesn’t get any sunlight so they take a long time to dry

Location best in Isla Mujeres. Quiet, close to sea(not for swimming) but start of nice10 min walk to good beaches. Great sunrises . All u need in local setting away from massatourism.

We liked the chairs outside and access to sea. You can see amazing sunrise from their yard. Loved the animals there.

Proximity to the town

Poor facilities, minimal effort for maximum profit. A lot of the furniture needs replacing, looking old and shabby, would not take much effort to make it a 100 times better. Lacking in care and attention for the client and the casitas.

We loved our stay with the ladies at this property. watching the sunrise , breakfast on patio. The beautiful well behaved dogs and cats that live on the property. The grill that we used to cook amazing dinners. The smiling faces from the Angie and Dru in the morning.The patio all lit up at night. felt so safe! thank you so much.

The place was homey! It could not have been in a better location: close to ferry, right on water, walking distance to all restaurants and the beach! Host was able to assist me with any questions and made sure to make me feel at home. Definitely recommend!

Most everything else. I like rustic, but this was on another level of sub-par habitation. More suitable for backpackers. Once I experienced the disappointment of this place, I re-read through the reviews. I saw the negative experiences of others in a different light. What I had dismissed as comments by people with unreasonable expectations, we could confirm as justified. The problems with this place are too numerous to describe here. Camping would have been preferable. There are many places on Isla that would have been more comfortable for less (as we’ve stayed in them). Caring about the guest’s experience has to be as important as making money. That’s not what’s going on here. I’ve never felt it necessary to write a negative review before, but this warrants a heads up to others.

The location didn’t outweigh the constant problems with no one on site to fix them.

Not clean, cat poop on doormat to clean up, standing water and leaks everywhere, people smoking directly outside the window where the bed was, no place to put stuff except on the soggy floor.

Our stay here was truly lovely, a stunning location right on the path overlooking the sea, perfect for sunrise. Breakfast was simple and fresh which was ideal. Rooms were very clean. The hosts were fantastic, always on hand if needed and have clearly put a lot of effort in to this little haven. Added bonus for all the lovely animals!

We feel cheated by this woman for almost 500$ and booking could not help us to get the money back. The accommodation is completely overpriced. I would not even sleep there one night for money. We booked 6 nights and only spent the first one there. Horror night. The studio is dirty. There are holes in the wall/windows so crawling everywhere. Air conditioner and fan can't be turned on at night because it is so loud and on even lowest setting blows you half off the bed. But without fan and air conditioner it was way too hot. Then suddenly a cockroach crawled out of the tiny bathroom into the main room. When I wanted to go to the bathroom despite cockroaches, I also discovered a gecko in the small bathroom. Peeing with your feet in cockroaches and a gecko at head height is unpleasant to the max, as you can't escape your unwanted roommates. We then tried to get the cockroaches out of the apartment, when also a palm-sized spider appeared in the bedroom and additionally a second, large gecko, which then hid behind the air conditioner directly above the bed. From then on, sleep was out of the question. We shared the events of the night with the landlady, who at first acted shocked and said that this had never happened before. We told her we didn't want to stay longer and wanted to cancel the remaining 5 nights. She said we couldn't because of booking's cancellation policy. Then she offered us $170 instead, which she withdrew shortly after. Instead she offered us another room (also in the same crumbling house in poor condition), which we declined. When we called booking and they said it was no problem to cancel as long as the landlady agreed and we didn't have to worry about anything, we decided to check out and booked other accommodations for the remaining nights. After that, she first didn't respond to booking inquiries and finally refused a refund until the very end.

It was horrible experience. Don't miss your time to chose this place. I pay a cash and never see my resive. At 10am 2 women's open over room and say that we had a bad energy and should go out. We spend like 2 hours in a police to show them what's happened in this place. Women's who work the is very rude and unprofessional. It was a bad choice.

Basic room with all you need for a nice stay in Isla Mujeres. The location was lovely with views to the sea. Quite area. Walking distance to restaurants, ferry, etc.
